Surf & turf special was cooked to perfection. Nice corner table with uninstructed view of Marina. Our server Adrian was excellent & he couldn’t have been more accommodating. Great wine list & best martini I’ve had in recent memory.

Our anniversary was absolutely spectacular due to the food and amazing service. With servers like Ed, the experience was so much fun.
The food was very good as well as the service. I would put less gnocchi and add more chicken to this dish. The Bucatini carbonara was also very good. As to the desserts, the chocolate that came with the gelato was hard for me taste , I wouldn't have it again, however the mixed berry cake has a great taste.
Price wise, if some of the dishes were more moderate I think it would attract more clientele.

Completely inedible food. The salmon was so overcomes there was no pink orange color inside, and so salty I could not eat more than a bite. The pasta with wild mushroom amd short rib was presented as gray chunks of beef on overcooked pasta amd the one vegan option was tasteless mush. Possibly the worst meal all 3 of us have ever had. Amd extremely expensive
Staff was great. Decor was out of date, a little dreary. Food was excellent. 93 degrees but it seemed like the air conditioning was not good. In fairness, my wife was fine with that. There was a view of the harbor but not Lake Geneva. Our anniversary so I wanted a little more of an overall experience. Server was excellent and brought us champagne. Nice touch.
Limited menu portions were small. Waiter Jack was great.
The food we both had was good. It arrived hot and in an acceptable time from when the order was placed. I would have liked to see the Chef rely less on salt to make the food taste good though. I would have also liked to have seen more fresh produce or herbs. The monthly special on the website was good, but it would have been great with more torn basil and less salt.
Regarding the service, it was severely lacking. An observation we had at the restaurant carried across to personnel throughout the entire resort (except the Front Desk) - that they’re unhappy and not adequately trained. The feel of the restaurant was sad and of high tension. Our server was clearly lost on even the basics of service or the menu.
I don’t know if the servers have a lot of duties in back, but customers were all extremely slow in getting service. We sat there for a half hour and were about to leave when our server came to take our dinner order. No warmth, no smile - strictly a fast food business transaction.
It would have been nice to eat at the hotel restaurant all nights of our stay, but instead we ventured out for our other meals.
240 doesn't disappoint! Especially when your server is Ed! He made the night! I love the ambiance and view and food was delicious. Always a bit pricey but it's to be expected. Service a bit slow. Again, to be expected. Will always be a loyal customer.

The salmon and new york steak entree were our favorite. The shrimp skewers and burrata with fig jam our favorite starters but the calamari our least favorite.
Our waiter Guatavo was the best! He was attentive, knowledgeable with recommendations and so funny.
We celebrated my best friends birthday and I can't wait to go back for mine in couple weeks!

We had dinner and breakfast at 240 West while on an overnight stay at the Abbey Resort. Both meals were wonderful and our server Joseph was great!
We had a delicious dinner of Salmon and NY Strip. The salmon was some of the best tasting I have had, the plating was outstanding! The steak had the best flavor and was cooked to a perfect medium rare :) The wine, Cuvee' Marguerite Cotes du Rhone was a very good choice for both meals. The view was beautiful, and we had a tasty dessert as well.
The service and food were 5 star to say the least. The ambiance was just fanominal and helped us to celebrate our anniversary. If you're looking for that quiet romantic place, 240 West is worth your visit.

240 West is a throwback to the old dining days reminiscent of supper clubs. Tom Stanfield, the pianist, sets the stage for lovely background music, although worthy of a stage performance. Our waiter, Jack was engaging and knowledgeable. The prime rib dinner special was both tasty and abundant. We had a lovely view of the harbor, as well.

Came here for my birthday dinner last night and everything blew our minds! Our server, Piper, was incredibly sweet. She had great suggestions and made our dining experience perfect. The Wagyu ribeye was to die for and if you haven’t tried the potato purée, you are missing out! Incredible views and experience. Will definitely be back!

Steak was average for the prices that they charge. Adrian our server was incredible, friendly and attentive.
My son had a new York strip. He said the quality of the meat was poor, worst he's ever had. He also did not like the truffle fries. I had the short ribs,tough. The calamari was soggy and cold in the middle.
Everyone was attentive. The chef’s cuisine is creative and delicious. It’s great that the chef also uses locally sourced foods…a real treat! Prices are average to high but the quality is excellent.
Very enjoyable night with delicious food and excellent service. Doesn't hurt overlooking the marina either.
Appetizers were good, drinks were good. Service was excellent, waitress knew the menu and how items were prepared, brought everything we needed promptly. My problem was the quality of the steaks, I ordered the top of the line New York, it had so much gristle it was hard to eat, by the time I trimmed it there wasn't much left. Filet was just ok. Halibut was good but very small portion. Salmon was just ok.

If you’re here for brunch, skip the sampler. It’s about $15 worth of food for $30. I’m sure they think it’s cute to serve on wooden cutting board, but it just makes all the food go cold. Serve it on a heated serving platter. I know we’re supposed to be on resort time, but waiting 45 min for the lukewarm food is absurdly slow. When we arrived for our reservation, more than half the tables were empty, but the hostess had to see if a table was available for us. We figured they were assuring spacing due to COVID, until they sat another party at the table immediately next to us. Next time, we’ll drive back to Lake Geneva for breakfast.
The food was amazing but the wait was not. It took over 45 minutes for us to get our breakfast after we ordered.
Also it took 15 minutes before anyone even came to greet us and take our order.
Beautiful restaurant and great location. Was just disappointed with service.

I had the worst halibut ever. Not only was it served with over cooked red beet risotto it was presented so horribly not to mention it was one of the chef dishes.
We sat by the fireplace but we’re still chilly . Burger and fries were delish . Nice wine list . Beautiful venue

The restaurant was nice and convenient while staying at the Abbey resort. Prices were a little expensive for the food and the menu was small. The restaurant was really nice and the views are spectacular. Overall I would go back.
Great restaurant, amazing food!
We have been guests of the Abbey Resort and have dined at 240 West and its predecessor restaurant many times over the years. Their food is consistently 5 star quality as well as their service. Never had a less than perfect meal there.
