Hair in food in all the restaurants in the hotel. No one wore they hair up in a ponytail or bun
The atmosphere was good. Our server was awesome. There was a bit of a wait for our food to be brought to our table. The prices were a bit high-$12 for a bowl of French onion soup.
Outstanding dinner experience, very knowledgeable & courteous server, great wine pairing advice - Didn't even write down our rather complex order and everything was delivered to our table spot on!
The food we had for dinner was terrible; none of us finished our dinner. I had chicken breast with grilled shrimp and gnocchi. The cheese gnocchi covered the entire plate. The chicken breast was burned on one side. The shrimp was fine. One of our guests had halibut which was underdone and not good. He did not finish it, which is very unusual for a halibut dish. Overall, this was about the worst food we've had a an expensive restaurant.
We were there for an anniversary celebration. My wife had the halibut and I the filet. Both were good, not great. The service was very good and attentive. We would eat there again.
Excellent service from the host and the wait staff! Sage was friendly and very helpful with menu suggestions. Thanks fir making our Anniversary dinner a memorable experience
We had a very disappointing visit to 240 Degrees West, unfortunately. We were seated promptly upon arrival. Then, we waited a bit, but honestly not too long, until we were offered beverages. The drinks were brought out and our order was taken. This is the last time we saw our waitress for at least 45 minutes. Someone else brought out our food and asked if we needed anything else. I asked for the wine list. She brought it and rushed off, without even asking if I wanted anything from the list to drink. And our waitress was still nowhere to be found. I mean, we saw her at her other two tables, but she certainly never checked back in on us. Our water glasses were empty and we quite literally had nothing to drink for the first 10-15 minutes of eating our meal. It was awful.
As for the food, most of it was fine, but I would NOT recommend the calamari. Ours was oily and greasy, not nearly cooked enough.
Overall, I was very disappointed by this restaurant, especially after having read some positive reviews. Maybe they were having an off night, but we won’t be returning.
My wife's order was messed up. they brought her the surf and turf special instead of the filet she ordered. There was way too much ice in my Old Fashioned (3/4 of an inch above the booze) so it was watered down. I ordered the halibut. It was very good except I didn't like the beet root risotto on which it came. It was way too rich for a light fish like halibut and I couldn't finish it. I had calamari as a starter. It was probably 2/3 tentacles' and one third rings. The tentacles were in a large clump on the plate and I had to cut them apart with a knife. Service was as slow as every other place we've been to lately. Had a nice view of the harbor. Overall it wasn't bad, but it was nothing special. 2 apps, 2 entrees, 2 cocktails and a glass of wine were $147.
The staff is excellent. Atmosphere is very very comfortable and pleasing to the eye.
food was good, but nothing outstanding. Steak a little overdone and dry and the raw apple with chocolate sauce was not a wise choice.
Waitress Amy is exceptional. Prompt, Very pleasant and efficient.
Our server Ed was delightful and helped with our food and drink selections. Our meals were unique, delicious and perfectly prepared. We loved dining here and will be back.
Waited 20 minutes at the host stand to be seated for our 7pm reservation before we saw any sort of employee wandering around. When we flagged down the server and told them we had a reservation and had been waiting to be seated he said Ummm yah you are gonna have to wait because we only have two people working. What a waste of time. We drove in for THIS?? We ended up leaving.
Good food and service. Ire of the bar or was priceless!
Food was Very good! We really enjoyed the live Music. He was Talented & Friendly.
Very good food in a picturesque setting. Dining room overlooks the marina
Food was good. They really need to update the atmosphere. The table seemed shoddy at least throw some table cloths on the tables. Overall not bad but not sure if I would return.
It was very warm ( around 82 degrees) in the restaurant and it was only 70 degrees outside at the time. Making the meal unpleasant. Main course was good, but overpriced. Fillet came with only mashed potatoes, no soup or salad.
The room has an amazing view of the harbor. The service was inconsistent and the breakfast just ok.
We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday!
During these Covid times, reservations are not required but if you want a specific time it is best to make reservations.
We are in the area celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary. Our evening dinner at 240 West was a very enjoyably experience, food was excellent and came quickly.
Our waiter, Ed was very relaxed and helpful, surprised us with a couple of flutes of champagne.
Andre was friendly, explained menu items, checked on us in a timely manner. Overall very nice experience
Good that should have been hot was cold. Items were left off the plate.
Location is fantastic. Very nice people. Value of meal is ok.
It was listed as having outdoor seating and that was incotrrect. Would never have gone. Service was great and food good but shouldnt advertise outdoor .
Wonderful place to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. Food was delicious and staff did their best to make the evening very nice. Shrimp, chicken, gnocchi dish was very good as well as the filet. Flourless chocolate cake and salted Carmel gelato with it was all delicious! We will be back.
The food was outstanding and the restaurant is beautiful.
Fantastic Piano and Top notch dining Love the evening. My wife and I Look forward to the next visit
We enjoyed it! We got to watch 2 weddings. Only negative: potatoes were too salty.
We had breakfast brunch on a Sunday. Limited selections, but food was good and our server, Lavy, was fantastic. She was friendly and attentive to our needs at the table. One downside was many flies in the dining room area, which interfered with a more pleasant dining experience. Perhaps 204 West may need to have better pest control, specifically with regard to food areas.
View was great and the piano player made it a pleasant environment but we were swatting flies constantly at the table. The food was awful. Couldn't eat it. My wife sent her Halibut back, overcooked and smelled like days old fish. I ordered five oz filet which was raw in the middle.
What is a magnificent view, atmosphere, menu and location is marred by a lacking investment on the guest experience. While I was impressed with the delivery of our dinner from someone who gave off the impression he was management, I was frustrated that I had to call wait staff over multiple times to refill my water. The basic wait staff skills of observing drink levels and proactively refilling water before the glass is empty is completely lost on this establishment.
If you're looking to spend $200 on a gorgeous dinner, with incredible views, phenomenal food, this is the place for you.
If you want to feel like they don't take your business for granted, I'd recommend your local restaurant with staff invested in your personal experience.
We had a table by the window with a great view of the storm rolling in! The shrimp skewer appetizer was delicious! I had the halibut for dinner and it was great. My daughter had the lobster pot pie with huge pieces of lobster. Grandson had a filet with fries that was done perfect! Thinking about going back tonight!
Excellent service and food
The menu was really interesting. The food was delicious and our waiter was fantastic!
Had a wonderful meal. We went with the couple's meal an app. entree and dessert.
Our server ED made our evening out a night to remember!!!!! His personality and attention to detail was above and beyond what we expected. The meal was delicious and we will definitely return and can only hope to have Ed as our server once again.
Service was great, food just mediocre overall. Short ribs were tender but lacked flavor. The gravy/ glaze accompanying the ribs and mashed potatoes was a disappointment. The halibut with beet risotto was very colorful and tasty. It is a nice quiet place to dine and perhaps some of the other menu options would be more flavorful.
The food was tasty, reasonable for the atmosphere, and the servers were attentive and helpful. Thank you for a nice dining experience to compliment my stay at the resort.
Food was good. Nice atmosphere.
