Excellent food, service & ambiance

Most amazing night of my life which we got engaged at the gazebo. Food was amazing and waiter was outstanding

The food did not live up the the prices or expectation. The calamari tasted like cooking oil and the risotto was not very good. Very kind waitress!

Not my best experience dining out. Kind of bummed I missed the fish fry at the waterfront restaurant to try this place! On the flip side our server was nice.

Food was pretty darn good, but our server Ed made the experience a 5 star one. He was fantastic and we wish we could be friends with him because he was so enjoyable. If you go here, ask for Ed!

Best experience I’ve had in a while. Our table overlooked the ice skating rink, so we had a great view of the outside activities all night. The ambiance was wonderful, with a roaring fire and an extremely talented piano player. Our server, Jayme, was friendly and outgoing, and made us the best brandy old fashioned I have ever tasted!! We hope to come back for another visit soon!

My friend and I go to 240 West every time we go to the Abbey Resort and we are never disappointed. The food is amazing and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I also love the fact that there are so many gluten-free options on the menu.

Our party was midweek with no “Specials”, but we enjoyed the variety of menu offerings. Everyone in our group commented favorably about the quality and enjoyment of their food. The server was very attentive. The atmosphere is always appealing.

Food is okay, but not above average and not worth the price tag for an entree when it does not even come with a dinner salad. Service was great though.

It was Christmas dinner and the all you can eat chicken or prime rib. Very poor quality prime rib and the chicken was very dry. The expense of the meal did not match the quality of the food. Would not recommend with as many dining options exist in the area.

It was a pre-fix dinner which we did not expect. Onion soup was good, but more bread than soup. Prime rib was very good for the cost and the seafood appetizer. The whitefish was just ok and potion was small. We did get to order more of each which was nice. Surrounding decor with fireplace and tree was very nice.

Reservations made and confirmed for a Sunday evening, 2nd anniversary dinner. We drove 40 minutes only to find they were closed. Called to tell management about the issue we experienced and was told "We are aware and have since updated the hours". This was our 3rd time at this restaurant so we were really looking forward to a wonderful dinner.

Our anniversary . Sat by the entrance and the music from a wedding was so loud we could not ever hear the guy playing the piano . Our food was cold when it finally came out . Very long rims between courses. Will return to the Geneva inn next year

Fantastic service and a beautiful view! I was disappointed that their legendary prime rib buffet was closed. I understand this pandemic has caused multiple issues, however, I was told by the resort’s front desk just a few days prior that it would remain open. We didn’t really enjoy the alternative to the buffet.

Even during covid, this was a wonderful dining experience. Restaurant is socially distanced, and the food and service were excellent. Great atmosphere and view. Decorated for the holidays make it even more special.

Service was excellent, steaks were great, but sides could have been much better, veggies were so overcooked they were pretty inedible.
Very clean.

The piano/ horn player was amazing. I would come back just to listen to him. The service was absolutely terrible and the food was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the price. The prime rib was ok, the crab legs were crumbly dry as was the fish and everything else was quite salty. Our server and the other servers working the buffet were just plain distant and rude. This was suppose to be our 20th anniversary dinner, which I included on our reservations but not on mention of it at the restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant to a friend and won’t be coming back.

Stayed at The Abbey for a girls weekend. We went here around 9:00 on a Saturday and there was only 2-3 other tables. I ordered bacon and over medium eggs. They came out WAY over cooked at over hard. Sent them back (after all, it was like $13 for bacon and eggs!). They came back and weren’t much better. My sister ordered the omelette and it came out RAW inside. Gag! Sent that back and it never came back out until we all were finished eating. She just ate our leftovers. When the “manager” finally did bring it out (server never came by to tell us what was going on NOR did she send a manager over as we were waiting) we said we didn’t want it since we now had to leave, as we had appointments for the spa. While I know the cooking isn’t the servers fault, she should have asked a manager to come speak with us right away and never did. We ended up driving 10 minutes to a local diner on Sunday. WAY better food, service and value. Sad that such a nice place has such bad management, cooking skills and is over priced. Won’t go back.

Did the three course dinner and was tasty. For the main course, the salmon was nice and moist.

Stopped for Sunday breakfast, but arrived too late and had the brunch. Very good buffet selections and bottomless Mimosas! Tom Stanfield on piano (and flugelhorn, simultaneously!) was fabulous!

Great place and staff. Looking forward to going back.

We recently celebrated our anniversary here and were somewhat disappointed.
Although we enjoy casual/rustic, it was a bit less sophisticated than we'd hoped. The food was decent, not great. The atmosphere bordered on obnoxious, not simply "lively".
The structure and the view were stunning and might be enough of a draw - along with the rather good server we had - to bring us back for another try.

The food was amazing (especially shrimp and salmon). Drinks were a little pricey. Service was excellent and atmosphere was nice.

We enjoyed our dining experience last night so much we came back tonight. Requested the same server, Ed. Very nice and attentive for our dinner needs.

Waiter must've had a lot of other tables was 30 min between visits. Food was below average and sides were terrible. Baked potato was undercooked. Surf and turf was disappointing. Salad and app were decent.

Terrific evening with friends. Great service and a charming server, Ed. The food was great, promptly served and terrific presentation. We will definitely dine here the next time we come to town.

Delicious meal and great service was made even more awesome by the gorgeous view of the resort and harbor.
