Ada Street

Food was delicious. Overpriced for the portion size but it was very good.
I didn’t get offered another drink right away which was king of annoying. Website stated we had this table for 90 mins but felt like they were rushing us.
Drinks were decent but again, overpriced. Spent $130 with a pretty good tip to the waiter for 2 people. Plus that’s not including the Uber there and back. I could have def had a better dinner and stayed downtown, which we did the night before.

We dined at Ada Street on a Friday night in their covered patio. Food was delicious- good portion sizes for being shared plates. Our server, Michael, was great- personable and attentive. They are running on light staff due to COVID, so we had to wait to be seated and they had challenges getting some of the other patrons to leave after their 90 min reservation had ended. Lastly- a forewarning to patrons about parking! Our car got broken into in the lot in front of the restaurant while we were dining!! Not a great alley area for their location... could be better lit or monitored with security cameras at night.

The staff were so friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful, especially for the current environment we're all in. Our server had great food recommendations, and the bartender made us an awesome Negroni dessert drink. Everything was delicious, and the cozy environment was a great escape on a winter night. We'll definitely be back!

The restaurant staff was perfect. The food was excellent. The only unfortunate event was that another group of diners had their car window smashed outside the restaurant. I believe they had personal items taken from their car. The restaurant is located on a dark side street which makes it unique and endearing but that also allows for increased crime.

Ada Street is incredible all around. The food is top notch. Chef is innovative and talented. The cocktails and wines are out of this world, too. Service is impeccable - knowledgeable, helpful, kind.

Our first time at Ada and the food was phenomenal. All three pasta dishes were great. The meatballs were possibly the best thing we had. The covered patio was warm enough too

We started of with the manchego cheese which was interesting and delicious. For dinner I had the scallop risotto which was cooked to perfection and Laura had the Italian meatballs.

Great service, delicious food and very good Covid precautions in their heated tent. My favorite was the truffle gnocchi with crispy sage.

Scott and his team at Ada Street were wonderful, we had absolutely delicious glazed Brussel sprouts, the crispy chickpea salad, French onion agnolotti with gruyere and garlic bread crumbs, and doughnuts with mocha hot chocolate drizzle for dessert. Given the temperature in the tent we opted for warm drinks, a marvelous Hot Toddy and a Mulled Wine, which helped us avoid frostbite. Loved it altogether!

The outdoor eating: I had my back to the wind and it was terribly cold the entire night. I would not recommend the outdoor dining in cold weather. The food was alright, kinda expensive.

A super cute speak-easy restaurant. Loved the seafood and the desserts.

This was my second time visiting Ada St and the experience gets better every time. I want to thank the staff for everything from the food to the service! Get the arancini, scallops and steak frites!

We sat at the bar. The staff was attentive and we loved the music.

Great room, intimate with the perfect vibe even during covid. Staff was well versed and quick with a recommendation, sample taste offered to assist with bottle decision. A touch cool with the tent addition during cold nights, even while seated in the restaurant. Food was excellent.

This was our first time using their covered patio and it worked out great! The courtyard tables are socially distanced and the tent space was very comfortable.

My friend and I had a fantastic evening at Ada Street. The tables were socially distanced and the patio was covered with enough air flow from the open end. The patio lanterns also provided enough warmth. Our server Gabi was awesome and made the whole dining experience fabulous. She was super friendly and really presented the menu items and answered our questions with such ease. The food itself was delicious and would recommend everything we got - fried Manchego Cheese, tagliatelle, mussels, crispy chickpea salad, the rib-eye and green beans, and the chocolate dessert. The cocktails were delectable as well. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a hidden treasure in Chicago.

They did a great job keeping the doors open and plenty of air circulation. Could use more lights!

The ambience, the food, the drinks....loved it!@

We started off dinner with the Manchego cheese appetizer which was excellent. For dinner Laura had the Gnocchi which was the best I have ever tasted. I had the pasta ragu which was very good. For dessert we had the best bread pudding I have ever had.

Ada did not disappoint! The minute you walk in the door the ambiance sets the mood for a chic casual dining experience. The private rooms in the front and candle lit walkway opens into a energetic but relaxing environment. The food was spectacular and easy for sharing around the table with a group of friends. Drinks were on point and the staff was gracious

Unimpressed. The space itself is sexy. The food was disappointing, over-sauced and the pasta was swimming in butter. Maybe it was an off night. We went out for pizza afterwards.

Such a great date spot - dark and romantic ambiance inside, cute lights and small tables outside. Everything we ordered was fantastic and the prices extremely reasonable. Our server (I think Gabby?) was fantastic and attentive without hovering. We had a great time and experience!

Ada Street always surpasses our expectations. The food, service, and atmosphere are all amazing. They are taking great COVID-19 precautions, including taking your temperature before they seat you, QR code menus, and a limited number of socially-distant tables.

Had the best time at Ada Street! Service was fantastic, cocktails were so delish and the ambiance was perfect. Nothing like the west loop or river north restaurant vibe - the staff was so nice and actually cared about you and wasn’t stuck up. Effortlessly cool and the food was sooo good. Like best meal I’ve had all year. I can’t wait to come back!
