Alder & Birch
My favorite restaurant in Las Vegas for all the right reasons. Best steak and lobster in town.
We had an excellent experience here. Everyone from the host to our server Meryam did a wonderful job. Would highly recommend A&B to anyone.
The food is always good here. The service however, is extraordinary!! The ambiance is romantic and elegant. Almost forgot it was inside a Casino!!
The steak was tender and delicious, the Brussels sprouts were very flavorful with the addition of a special sauce and chopped pecans, potatoes were excellent. The dessert of pumpkin tiramisu was a first for us and it was great.
Great food and service, got a bottle of wine and it’s taste was definitely great.
Fillet minion is to die for.
The food was amazing, everyone in my party had steaks and was pleasantly surprised nice flavor and our waiter Justin was so knowledgeable and helpful when it came to making final entree selections. Even the crab lump cake appetizer was delicious. Nicely priced for everything that we had, which included drinks.
The food was good. Nice restaurants Not too much noise. But the server was absolutely terrible. And had a confrontation with two elderly ladies at the table across from us. And just seemed to be in a very nasty mood no personality. I would recommend the restaurant. And I would try it again. But it's the same thing happened again. I would say no.
Great appetizers. Steak was cooked exactly the way I wanted it. Delicious. Will definitely go back.
Were in Vegas on business was very happy with our experience with alder and birch. Food and service was excellent.
Food was good. Service was really bad.Three entree’s came out and I waited five to ten minutes for my pork chop to come out. Then minutes later are sides came out.Never again.
Great Steaks, and great Service. A great place for drinks and dining. Especially before a show.
Waiter congenial but very scarce particularly after food was served had to ask bus boy server for things sauces condiments and the little extras took awhile when we arrived no one at front desk to greet or as we departed on reservation.
Food: crab soup very fishy like warm Filet was grilled right but a bit tasteless I would say spice it up sea salt et al and blue cheese topping was not chunks but diluted sauce which was bland, lobster Mac was tasty but salty Brussel sprout good bit oily.
Didn’t have bottle of wine as requested but fill in red wine very good Frites dry and a bit Kool needs more truffle oil.
Expresso single was double more like coffee ☕️
I have been in many times I love Orleans overall (never loose 5$ Craps!)
First time in Las Vegas for my nephew he of course noticed no miss as he was hungry The cafe breakfasts are superb and the Asian restaurant was fun varied and great food
Take care improve the attention to detail and quality of meat with tasty!
See ya all soon!
Calm environment in the actual dining. Outside bar sitting area was much more boisterous. Great, friendly service. Very good salad wedge which was nicely split for us. Mildly spicy shrimp was quite good and came with a very generous portion. Rack of lamb was very good and also nicely split for us. Creme brûlée with champagne sorbet was good.
Food was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection! Will definitely return.
Dinner and dessert was delicious. The service was fantastic. My water glass was never empty.
1) after making a table reservation for one; I was asked twice to sit at the bar where the only seat that was left was I believe the handicap area
2) Not the hostess but wait staff the I believe his name was Alan scoffed that I didn’t want to sit at the bar and pint blank said, then you can sit in the back
3) While it may have been an innocent remark once I got a table I get asked “you look. Ice tonight are you meeting someone”
Why did I have to meet anyone to look nice. Especially after it was made such a big deal to give me a table for one even after making a reservation for one.
The food was okay.... not anything to write home about. I’d have rather paid more to have better service and food.
Food was excellent as was the service. Server was nice enough to tell us that the sides are plenty big enough for sharing as we were ordering one side each. Glad we amended the order - she was right. Also liked the fact that the service was in no way rushed which sometimes happens in restaurants. We were given plenty of time to enjoy our meal leisurely.
Our server Rik was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant; offered his favorites of every portion of meal. The bread is delicious as is the creamed corn. Our party of 8 tried several of the sides which were great (corn, brusselsprouts, lobster Mac and cheese) as well as filets, strip steaks, lamb and the crab cake as an appetizer. We were way too full for dessert but everything sounded delicious. The ambiance was more than I expected for the location and prices were not unreasonable. I would definitely recommend and hope to visit again on our next trip.
I really enjoy Alder and Birch. We have been there several times and have not been disappointed. The food & service is good and the prices are reasonable. But what makes Alder and Birch truly special is that we can have a conversation without having to raise our voices to be heard. There are very few nice restaurants that aren't loud and harsh anymore. We will definitely be back!
We found that the food was just average for the price that was charged. Our server, Alex I believe was his name, didn't seem very interested in being there. Bare minimum service from him. He asked us if it was our first time there, which it was, but never took the time to tell us that the sides you order actually have enough for more than one person. Based on this one time experience, I don't think that we'd return, or that we'd recommend the restaurant to anyone.
