It was a very quiet night not a lot of activity, but it seems like it was the Hotel in general that was pretty slow, I did not mind it since it was nice and Peaceful to get some work done, I Tried the Roasted Chicken and I was Surprise at portion, I was very delightful to say the least...
My server Juan was very attentive and was always checking to see if I had refills and to check the quality of the Food. for Dessert I tried the Cookie Sandwich, it uses the Hotel cookies which are my favorite when I stay at the Hotel. Overall nice place to try if you are here for business.
Fui con mi pareja está noche y pude observar que habían Cambiado El menu desde la última vez que unos Amigos me Invitaron en una de mis visitas a Baltimore, El Lugar se encuentra en un Hotel por lo cual casi no había mucho tráfico, aún así habían un par de mesas a la hora de yo llegar con mi pareja a cenar, Nos sentamos en el área del Bar dónde Ricardo se encargó de atendernos con mucho Gusto, yo Probe la Hamburguesa que solo Traía Aguacate, Queso Cheddar, y Jalapeño pero a pesar de ello pude Agregar Champiñones y Cebolla Salteada que son cosas extras que me gustan en una Hamburguesa y sin Duda alguna El Sabor espectacular en termino medio como me gusta, mi pareja probó el Shrimp N' Grits el cual tenía un sabor muy bueno, y el postre que estaba Esquisito y el cual fue mi favorito de todos. Sin duda alguna volveremos en el futuro!
So I should have read the reviews first. My experience mirrors much of what has already been said in previous reviews. There was no one in the restaurant, which should have give us a clue, but we went ahead and honored our reservation. Our waiter, who was also the bartender...and I believe the cook was very pleasant. The food was horrible. The wings were old, hard and flavorless. The Deviled Eggs were unimaginative and plain. The Shrimp and Chicken Pasta looked like a dish a 12 year old would make and it too had no seasoning. The burger I ordered Medium Rare and it came out completely raw. The lettuce and tomato was old and wilted, but I would have dealt with that had the burger been edible. We left still hungry and totally dissatisfied with the experience. Quite honestly, the best thing about this restaurant is the name...but don't get it twisted, the experience in no way lives up to the name. Needless to say, we won't be back.
There were shell pieces in the "surf and turf" crab, hair in my dates water, my meat was cold even though it took about 20 minutes to get our food. She had a piece of meat that was absolutely raw and still cold. The ceviche is not ceviche, just 3 shrimp pieces in a cup with garnish. the rosé was white wine. Not great

Service was terrible. Ambiance bad. Bowl full of empty creamers on the table. Crab cakes tasted like mashed potatoes with maybe a half ounce of crab meat. Only thing good was soup and old bay wings. Never again. Oh, and $7 to valet park the car. Ridiculous.
There are much better places nearby to eat. I had family staying in the hotel, and we thought it would be convenient the evening they arrived. The restaurant was nearly empty, service was terrible, food was edible, but uninteresting, tasteless. I live nearby. It would be so nice for the neighborhood to have a good restaurant here!

Rather ordinary. Standard upscale hotel breakfast buffet. $14.95. No menu options, unlike what website promises. Pleasant staff but buffet was only option. Lots of carbs, 'meh' coffee and quick omelets with undercooked ingredients. Convenient parking, great location.
The food wasn't that good and the ambiance was really stuffy. Some of the food was cold. Not terrible but definitely not the best.
Very good service and a nice selection of food.. though a bit tough for a vegetarian. Remember to get garage parking validated.

The food was very good, even though about 25% too much. The waiter was very nice young man but disappeared because you sent him to do room service. We were ready to go but had to wait 15 minutes to get a check.
Great place. Parking validated if you use garage under hotel. Spacious bar area with big screen. Weekly specials and happy hour available.
The soup was too salty but the steak had no flavor. The desserts seemed to be store bought and too sweet

Our restaurant week meal at Alizee was a good deal, but the overall experience was lackluster. My “cheese plate” was simply cheese cubes and a few hard baguette slices. The restaurant was not busy, but still seemed understaffed (we dined on a Friday evening and only saw two staff members). Only three tables were full in our section of the restaurant, but they put us so close together it was impossible to not hear every word of our neighbor’s conversations. Another table next to us sat with the dirty dishes of a previous party throughout our entire meal. I don’t think we’ll be returning, even for restaurant week.
We went to this restaurant as part of Restaurant Week and first off did not realize it was a hotel restaurant. And second of all there was literally no one else on a Sunday afternoon in that restaurant. Clearly not any type of a destination restaurant. The food was average our server was very Charming it was a big disappointment. My first truly bad Restaurant Week experience

It seemed as if no one wanted to work. Staff all over the place, wandering around, but it took FOREVER to get service, forgot drinks, to get check, etc. Awesome location as it relates to Johns Hopkins but about equivalent of airline food.
Had breakfast and lunch here while at the hotel for a class. The eggs benedict was very good, but lunch was amazing! The Maryland Crab soup was definitely my favorite! Our server Jasmine took care of us for both breakfast and lunch. She was very friendly, quick and on top of things.
The service was very slow, and some of the food came out cold. I will say that other than the temperature issue, the food tasted fairly good.The other reviews I've seen that reference a sense of disorganization among the waitstaff definitely hit the mark. The service wasn't awful, but definitely sub-par for what is available in the area. I would go here if I were desperate, but there are so many better options in such close proximity.
We dined at Alizee during Restaurant Week in Jan 2018. When we arrived, we had to ask for the Rest Week menus, at which point they informed us they were out of filet (which is also a normal item on their menu). We were bummed since that was the entree we were looking forward to, but made alternate selections of stuffed cod and pork. The appetizers were standard and tasty, although the crab bisque was a bit salty for my liking. After finishing both the salad and appetizer (which were served at the same time), we had to wait at least another 15-20 minutes, at which point the server apologized for the entrees taking long. Mind you - there were three other tables seated in the entire restaurant, so it wasn’t exactly busy. A few minutes later, she apologized again and said the cod was ready and the pork just took a little bit longer to make and would be ready soon. My husband said she could bring my dish out awhile since it was ready, since we were planning to share a bit anyways. My entree came out - and I ate as slowly as possible, and was still finished and plate cleared before his pork entree was served. It was no less than 45-50 minutes from when we ordered, which seems to be excessive. The food was really tasty - but timing of food and service was lacking. I had to ask for refills of water and iced tea several times. It was a good value for Restaurant Week, but we likely won’t be back again anytime soon.

There was no host/hostess to seat anyone and it took over seven minutes for someone to even acknowledge that we were waiting to be seated. I was actually online to make quick reservations somewhere else when we were finally seated. The waitstaff was running around, completely unorganized and the chef was out bussing tables. There may have only been 12 tables, and 5 waitstaff, not including the chef on the floor. Once seated our waiter was amazing, his service was excellent and timely. However, aside for the first course, a crab bisque, all the food came out cold. Which I don't understand.
I would not go back, nor recommend Alizee to anyone. I do feel bad for the completely disorganized waitstaff who are in dire need of good leadership and management.
The place was just ok. We were there for brunch. They tried hard but it was just ok.
Great spot for book club to meet....quiet with good food served promptly. Plus was we ate in front of fireplace on a chilly night. Lots of on street parking. No one was there on a Wednesday night.
I was pleased to find alizée as a dining option in my hotel. The lump crab was very tasty. The staff was stretched rather thin that night but were attentive nonetheless.
Despite mixed reviews, decided to try during restaurant week as a featured menu item seemed too good to resist: soft shell crabs with stoneground grits with corn and scallion with a hot honey drizzle. Sigh. The crabs were good, but the rest was a big disappointment to my palate and to my digestive system. The grits were so studded with overcooked, dry chewy corn, cheese, pepper and scallion that they had none of the creamy appeal of grits and managed to be devoid of flavor. I was not expecting the "hot honey drizzle" to be a mix of honey and tabasco, and clearly inferior vegetable oils were used throughout.
The atmosphere and the service were great, however, for the price, the food was not good at all, very poor quality. The "cheese plate" consisted of cheese cubes, similar to what you'd see on a party platter from a grocery store. The steak was very fatty, full of gristle. The broccoli was chewy.
The food was fantastic!!! I will definitely return and I recommend it to anyone.

Great for a quiet business dinner. The server we had was attentive. The only negative was the entrees were brought out before both appetizers were completed but otherwise meals were good to taste. Everything was cooked as asked. The price was excellent for food and drinks.
This is a hotel buffet. NOT a restaurant.
The salted caramel cheesecake was delicious. The staff was friendly and mostly attentive.

We went here because it was convenient, but I would not go here ever again. It was during restaurant week, and neither the food nor the service was acceptable. From the cheese board with cheeses that looked like they were taken from your local grocer's dairy aisle to undercooked steak and dried out fried chicken, we couldn't finish any of the food. Our waitress was equally not helpful nor did she look like she was happy to be there.

Servers for 1/14/17 seemed like replacements for trained staff; nice enough, but clearly not trained for waiting in such an establishment. Upon arrival of a neighboring party of about 8, attention to us was significantly diverted.
Food was plentiful, but lacked finesse: soup was too salty, salad had too much dressing, and steak was undercooked, and octopus (although good) was smothered and overpowered by the topping. Requested that steak to be cooked further; after waiting about 10 mins (while other party was waiting on), other diner was almost done with entree.
Lastly, space seemed too open - not a problem, per se, but not having any muzak made for an atmosphere like one of those almost-defunct department stores. If it wasn't for the scope and quantity of the food offered for the promotional price, I would say it wasn't worth it.

No sign in the lobby when you walk in. Basically just another mediocre hotel restaurant. Our waitress was either bored or sleepy. I ordered the seared tuna rare and it came out well done. Food was just basic, nothing special. Rather disappointing compared to the great restaurant options in Baltimore. I didn't feel like they tried at all.
