   The cod was fantastic! Portions are large. Bruschetta was also seasonal and yummy. Everyone at our table happy with their dinner choice. Restaurant feels happy and welcoming.

   The service was slow given the fact that the place was packed. It was very understandable. The waitress did her best. The food came out delicious and hot. The noise level was tolerable; however large and older not the best for sound travel. Again, the place was packed and very understandable. It probably is my favorite place to dine in Salem.

   The crispy Brussels sprouts were not crispy at all. They had been blanched but not fried. Seemed like having an off night. Not sure if staffing? We have enjoyed the consistency of eating there over the past years. We’ll be back. But just an fyi

   My 3 stars is a combination of a 5 star experience from summer of 2022, versus my dining experience on Mar 8, 2023, which would earn 1 star. Summer of 2022 there was a group of 10 of us in a back room, and food + service + presentation was spectacular...one of my best dinners in my monthly trips to Salem. My dinner there for 2 people this past Wednesday was the opposite - my shrimp risotto was bland and overcooked, presentation of both plates was sloppy, the server was on 4 tables in front of restaurant AND at a table / some tables? in the back...such that we didn't see her for 30mins after my colleague arrived at 6:05, at which point we ordered a drink (6:35pm), which wasn't there until just before 7pm - 55mins past reservation was his first drink. For a restaurant wanting to be mid-upscale, this was a horrible experience, and in looking at tables around us, the frustration was clear on many guests' faces.

   We were a large group of 10 seated in the back room, which was perfect. Everyone loved their food choices, drinks and desserts. Our waitress, Keegan (sp?) was on top of everything, friendly and organized….hard to believe (we found out at the end) that we weren’t her only table! Thank you Keegan and Amadeus for showing us locals and our out of state guests a great time.

   Excellent casual and romantic experience. Wonderful service. We weren't given the specials but overall great service. Woukd definitely go again during happy hour. Great portions.

    Service was friendly and prompt. Was in town for business and got a table. The Happy Hour was the best that I have experienced in a long time. Food quality was high, value was high, service and cleanliness were outstanding. Will certainly revisit next time in town.

    I was taking my granddaughter with the express purpose of having the crème brûlée cake as dessert. We asked the waitress to save a piece for us but she said that wasn’t necessary. After we had finished our dinner we asked for a piece of the cake and we’re told there was none available. Greatly disappointed we left without the dessert we had been told would be available.

    Our server, a wonderful Austrian woman, was absolutely perfect. Above and beyond service, extremely friendly, naturally kind. The food, nothing at all I can say will equal how delicious our meals were. We were on a date, I hade the duck, she had the pumpkin polenta. We each tasted both dishes and our tastebuds were in heaven. I am particular about my cocktails and requested something very unusual and unique, the bartender exceeded my best expectations for one of the most exquisite gin martinis I’ve had in my life. 100 out of 100. 5 out of 5.

    Great service! Immediately and warmly greeted at the front door. Waiter brought water with opening greeting. Prompt service, great recommendations. Just got a few apps and desserts before a show. Tasted great and came out quickly

    We were a party of 9 and were seated upstairs which was a wonderful surprise. Suggest the lighting is dimmed a bit to make the ambiance a little closer to downstairs. Food was great, as was the service.

    We went for my husband’s birthday and we really enjoyed it! We had requested a nice table if possible and they delivered by giving us a quiet table out of the way. Service was great, drinks were delicious, and every single food item was out of this world. 100% will go again.

    Our reservation was for 5pm, there was only several other diners at that time. Our server started out very responsive at the onset. But by the end of dinner, she was 'non existent'; looked like she was busy bartending so we had to ask the host to bring us our check. Food was marginal. Very disappointed that both our meals were served lukewarm, at best. Presentation was spot on; however, the pork chop was fatty and chewy. And the chicken schnitzel was chewy as well. Couldn't let the server know that our meal was server lukewarm because she never came back to our table. She was too busy bartending!!

    Waited over a half hour past our reservation “for someone to leave” when there were open tables. Had to ask for the complementary appetizer. Waited 20 min for desserts to be delivered and was never served the coffee we ordered, yet it was on our bill.

    So much is FABULOUS about Amadeus! The food, our cocktails, our server were all outstanding. The one negative is that it is sooooooo loud, it is very difficult to conduct a conversation.

    Had Friday night dinner reservations. Table was ready when we arrived although restaurant was busy / crowded. Server arrived shortly after we were seated. Service was attentive but too much. Food was outstanding.

    As always we are always pleased when we have dinner at Amadeus. They are very consistently wonderful and I always look forward to our meals there. We ALWAYS begin with the Bruschetta as it is the BEST we have ever had. I had the salmon picatta and hubby had the Classic which is beef medallions. Love this restaurant. Salem needs more restaurants like this.

    Planned a Holiday gathering with friends. Restaurant was a bit to loud for a visit, especially anyone with hearing aids. Food, service, and time with friends was very pleasurable! We will be back and highly recommend Amadeus!
