   The food and service was outstanding! The only thing was when we first arrived they had seated us on the side of the bar however, we ask to be in the main dining room and it was t a problem. There were some changes on the menu but our menu did not have the changes, and then they only had one dessert tonight! We had mussels, baked oysters, cod, and lobster mac. Everything was delicious.

    We decided to have Sunday funday at amen street since we have never been. We were graced with Michael as our server and he was absolutely outstanding! Our kids were in a mood and he turned their frowns upside down and made our experience so enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious we got 4 different appetizers and 5 meals and everyone was so pleased with their food. Our drinks were also equally as great! We will definitely be back and be asking for Michael!

    The seafood was amazingly fresh and very well prepared. Couple shared baked oysters appetizer and fried seafood platter. Perfect amount for both of us and the waiter gave no issue with us sharing. We will add this to the Charleston rotation when we visit.

    If you like seafood, you'll enjoy Amen Street Fish + Raw Bar. Nice location on E Bay Street just down from the Market shops. Board menu of apps and seafood, cooked or raw. Both the food and service were excellent. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere, a good place to have a drink and relax. However, it can get a little loud at times. We enjoyed it and will go back.

    Food was tasty and cocktails good. The catch of the day changes daily and ours was soft shell crab which surprised us as we were expecting fish. Our mistake! The crab was good just a bit on the salty side. The beet and Brussels salad was fresh and so tasty. Place was unpretentious and comfortable. Service was fast and efficient.

    Very overpriced for amount and quality of food. Their pricing is extremely over what I would expect for this establishment. Server was very pushy on ordering more food and drinks as well which made us feel uncomfortable.

    I have eaten here several times. This was by far the best meal yet. We all had baked oyster appetizers that were delicious. The flounder entree with onion sauce, potatoes, mussels, and clams was one of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted. The prices are reasonable, and the service was attentive. Highly recommended.

    Thoroughly enjoyable meal! From the minute we walked in until the minute we left we felt appreciated and pampered. Server Michael was outstanding and had great recommendations for dinner for 4. Appetizers of calamari strips and mussels were both Very good. Main courses of Salmon and Strip scampi were both worth the trip. Will definitely be back next time in Charleston.

    Went to Amen with a reservation on Saturday night. When we arrived we were offered a high top which we declined. Our server was friendly though seemed tired. I was most looking forward to having fried oysters on our weekend trip to Charleston. We were informed that Amen was out of fried oysters... at 6:00 on Saturday night... We settled our tab and moved next door to Rudy Royale for fried oysters. The drinks at Amen were really good. We also had the raw bar oysters which were really nice. The ambience was ok, looks fancier in photos.

    Seafood tower isn’t really a tower and was a tad disappointing. The oysters were the smallest I’ve ever seen, but the flavor was good as well as the shrimp. Wouldn’t order again, but the restaurant has a good ambience and would give it a try again.

    Great location in the heart of Charleston. Well-designed, nicely appointed, energetic dining room. Classic Charleston menu with a seafood tilt. Excellent service. Food was nicely presented and delicious. Best for small groups.

    Despite mixed reviews, thought we’d give it a try, Disappointed in calamari although my husband liked it. Cod good but over salted because of prosciutto. Looking forward to key lime pie but only one dessert available due to “no bakery delivery “ that C morning. Would not return.

    The food was remarkable. The soda machine was broken so the sodas were flat which was a bummer to some of us who don’t drink. The atmosphere was good: wasn’t too loud or awkwardly quiet. Our server was ok, she seemed annoyed with us after we mentioned how the sodas were flat. Other than that, we’d come back again.
