Anis Cafe and Bistro
Great place! Great food! Doesn’t disappoint, ever!
Vibrant restaurant with a neighborhood feel. Very attentive and knowledgeable service. Flavorful food with attention to presentation.
Anis remains one of my favorite places to dine in Atlanta. I have never had bad food, drinks, service or ambience there. It’s consistency in these areas coupled with its quaint French flare and the live music on the patio make it a truly enjoyable epicurean experience.
Always fabulous!! The special was Halibut over lobster and Mushroom Risotto!
We enjoyed our lunch very much. Food was delicious, service was attentive, prices were good.
Always a great meal, and I have been eating here for more than 20 years. I am never disappointed.
Anis is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. I love dining on the patio.
Our server was horrible, extremely rude, not customer service oriented at all. In spite of the fact that we love the restaurant as it is so charming, it is not charming enough to compensate for the extremely poor and rude service from our wait person.
Always love Anis, but the waitress was somewhat out of it - kept messing up orders and not bringing food and beverages that were ordered.
Wonderful and warm service. Love this place!
Always courteous efficient accurate and best of all delicious!!!
Outstanding meal and service. Wait staff very professional.
Their patio is the coziest in town - like a small garden party. Food and service just excellent - try it and you will go again for sure
Great neighborhood place, but I thought pricey for what you got. The food was good, but meh.
I have been going to Anis for many years - I get the mussels often - This is the first time that the mussels have not been as good as the past - they were very small and a bit over cooked - I double checked to see if mussels are in season - they are -it is September. I must have just gotten a bad batch.
This will not stop me from going back - Just an off night for mussels.
Great experience for a Sunday brunch. Food and service were excellent!
Excellent food, atmosphere, and service in the area. Very accommodating and pleasant staff.
Absolutely amazing! We will go again!
We have always had great food and service here. On a recent visit our server was in such a hurry to process our order and be done with us that it was embarrassing to friends that had never tried the place. As a result, our appetizer order was wrong and then she seemed in such a hurry to get our main course order that we finally just picked something to be done with it. Food was good as usual and menu items are always interesting.
Tonight was probably the 6th time I have visited Anis this year, one of our favorite go-to restaurants, especially for outdoor dining. We asked a couple friend to join us, they had not been to Anis before. The special was swordfish. It arrived dry and plain. The trout was as always delicious. Our friends liked the mussels and chicken. The bill arrived all together despite the fact that this couple had brought a bottle of wine for themselves and we had wine and cocktails. I politely asked for the bill to be split by what we had and the server said "you should have told me before." Her attitude was deplorable. Finally after more conversation, she relented, stood by the table and marked the bill while I told her what each of us had had for dinner. It was embarrassing. I have never had this type of experience at Anis before, perhaps she was new, but will think hard now among F&B, Bistro Niko, and Anis before deciding to return.
Still the most uniquely European and casual atmosphere in Atlanta. We love it
Friendly staff. Food very good. Location interesting and comfortable.
First time having French food in Atlanta. This restaurant did not disappoint. I felt as though I was in the middle of Paris.
Delicious food, wonderful service and great ambience.
The food and service at Anis were wonderful! We were disappointed, though, with the atmosphere because we were looking for a quiet cozy date night spot, and the patio was very loud and had rather random decor. The inside was quiet and nice, but the air vent directly under the table made it difficult to enjoy the meal as much as we could have. Overall, if you are looking for a delicious meal and great service, Anis is a great choice; just don't expect a quaint quiet spot.
Whenever I am in Atlanta, this is where I go! Even multiple nights if my schedule allows. Good location, great food, very consistent.
Consistently one of my favorite dining experiences in Atlanta. Friendly, knowledgeable servers, fantastic food, great wine list, and wonderful ambiance. Also fairly priced, which is an anomaly in Buckhead these days.
Anis is always a wonderful experience. That said, the cheese plate really needs to come with table water crackers or SOMETHING other than a bread basket!
We always love to go to anis and sit outside. The food is fresh. The menu changes often. The maitre D’ aims to please. The valet is helpful. Highly recommended
Awesome as usual!
We have always enjoyed a good meal at Anis and this time was not an exception. We will continue to make it a destination point for creating good memories with family and friends.
The food was very tasty and well presented.
The service was perfect!
Always a beautiful place to go. The food is excellent, great service. Consistent, that’s what I like about this place
Always a great meal and wonderful service. It has a great vibe as well.
Food was delicious and the free dessert presented for a birthday was delightful.
Food was ok. Service was fair to poor. Our waiter was inattentive and a few other guys kept pestering us for our plates while we were still eating. Too loud for us too. Cute place. Like the patio option, but we won’t go gack
Excellent bday dining experience great
Always a great dining experience!
Friends from LA in town; they loved it. As always a touch of France.
Have always enjoyed Anis. But we were the first diners that day, and only given the choice of their tiny tables for 2. When we left an hour later there were still several larger (4 seat) tables available. Even more of a 'burn' to us - about 20 mins after we were seated, 2 elder Buckhead women arrived (understand we are both seniors) and were immediately seated at a 4 seat table. A bit of a chafe to our enjoyment. I will go back, but I will always remember that treatmennt.
