Soup of the house made with Spanish Sherry
Large ravioli pasta stuffed with lobster meat served over lobster sauce With a slice of Lobster Tail and topped with Parmesan. Wine recommendation: Jordan Chardonnay
Rack of Lamb
New Zealand prime Lamb served with Mint Sauce. Wine recommendation: Earthquake Petit Syrah
the food was very good and the ambiance very nice but the service was awful. 20 minutes for water, 30 for bread and almost two hours for our entrees.
Not what I had hoped. Menu item posted online wasn't offered the night I went which is understandable, especially in current covid times. The decor is dated, chairs aren't comfortable. Clean tables, good spacing and friendly staff. Wine list is disappointing, very limited. I ordered the lobster tail and was hoping to have dessert. It took forever to get my entree so I wasn't going to risk being stuck there even longer to order dessert. I was by myself so simple order. I literally could 1. made the meal faster and 2. made it much tastier. The texture of the lobster was off. There was a seasoning rub on part of it which didn't help. Overall not good, not even a little. It was edible and I was hungry so I just ate most of it. The sides were hilarious as they didn't make sense snd were not tasty. It came with mashed potatoes (didn't taste good and I didn't bother to eat after 1 bite) and raw veggies (1 strip of pepper, 2 asparagus, a couple shavings of carrot) weird and not seasoned. They did give me a free lobster bisque due to the delay which was appreciated and thoughtful. The server was very nice and did a good job, its not her fault the food took forever and wasn't good. I will never go back. I don't recommend going as its not worth the money. I will note the other patrons seemed happy so perhaps it was just this dish that wasn't a winner (highly doubtful it ends there).
The Chilean Sea Bass was terrific, mild, tender and flavorful.
The service was pleasant, attentive but not intrusive.
Great for a special occasion.
We had the pleasure to eat at Aragosta on our visit to St. George and we loved it! The food and service are wonderful.
Not very consistent in the cooking. Burnt bread and some overcooked food. Overall it was good but expect more from fine dining.
Had a wonderful birthday dinner! Thanks, Chef ... the meal was amazing!
Best food in town. Chef came to the table to see how our experience was. Service was great as was the food! Will be back again soon!
Food was good . Delaney was a great waitress!
The best restaurant in St George. Hats off to the chef. Definitely returning.
Beautiful location for lunch or dinner. Dine inside or outside. You'll not be disappointed!
As always, great dinner. Enjoyed talking with Chef Imi. The new location is fabulous.
I’m so happy we tried this place. Amazing atmosphere and phenomenal food. The service was top notch. We had the sea bass and filet mignon. If you have a special occasion, this is the place to go.
We had a great time for our work retreat. Dinner was amazing. Everything we had was good and many of us were not big seafood eaters, but everything prepared was exceptional.
Awesome restaurant...great all around. Chef Imi is wonderful
Best restaurant in St. George Hands down. Chef Imi is amazing and always make you feel like most important people in the restaurant. His personal touches on our Anniversary dinner made it extra special.
This is by far the best example of fine dining in St. George. I have tried all of the fine dining establishments in St. George and surrounding areas and none offer this lever of perfection. The highest quality of food, cooked to perfection, served by their highly trained, curious and attentive staff. The chef sent out extras we didn't even order to wish us a happy anniversary. It was a truly beautiful place and a wonderful experience.
We picked Aragosta's for our anniversary dinner. We were not disappointed. The chef presented me with a long stemmed red rose and made us feel very pampered. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, the food was excellent. My husband had the Sea Bass, I had the Aragosta Filet Mignon. Both prepared to perfection! The special dessert Chef prepared was lovely and tasty. We would definitely dine here again. Our compliments to the Chef!!!
A wonderful dining experience! Very nice setting/ambiance (understand it used to be a wedding site before the restaurant came), very tasty food, and excellent service — pleasant, helpful, with great recommendations (thank you, Kaylee!). Greatly enjoyed the lobster bisque, filet Aragosta (with some additional lobster on top), a glass of the suggested Cabernet wine to pair with that steak, and Kaylee's recommended toffee cake dessert. Enjoyed the quiet, but in good/normal (non-pandemic) times, there obviously would — and definitely should — be more people there to enjoy the experience. An excellent place for a special-occasion dinner, and one that makes even a normal dinner feel like a special occasion.
I celebrated my birthday at Aragosta and was truly impressed with everything. The service, food and atmosphere combined made it an exceptional evening. Our server Kaylee was super friendly and attentive. And the chef went over and above to make my birthday that much more special. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Can’t wait to return.
We LOVE going to Aragosta and LOVE Chef Imi’s food. We take my 95 year old mother there often because it is very quiet and easy for her to hear AND tables are spaced far enough apart I don’t worry about her exposure. Chef Imi always comes out and speaks with her which makes her so happy.
The food at our visit was as always exceptional. THE CAESAR salad is always one of my favs and it didn’t fail to impress as always. I LOVE his risotto with truffles and it compliments whatever entree I am having!
Thanks you, Chef Imi, for yet another great dining experience. We will return soon!
Be prepared to enjoy a quiet evening dining. This is not an in and out type of restaurant. They take care with their service, food and presentation.
I had the French Onion soup and it was very tasty although I didn't care for the bread/cheese crust since it was too tough to break up with a spoon. So, I pushed it to the side and enjoyed the super hot soup (I like my soup super hot so this was really nice.)
I had the King Salmon and it was a large piece (no skimping here)! The fish was lightly seasoned and prepared perfectly, succulent inside with a nice, light crisp on the outside. However the sides (while beautifully presented) were not that flavorful.
I particularly enjoyed the palate cleanser in between the soup and main... it was a lime sorbet. Quite lovely and refreshing!
The entire meal took about 2 hours but our wonderful server (Brianna) warned us that things were running slow this evening and it would take a bit to get food out. This was nice that she gave us a heads up, so we ordered a bottle of wine to sip while we enjoyed the evening.
I highly recommend making a reservation and dining early in the evening. I imagine that as more guests arrive, the more the kitchen can get backed up.
We have gone to the Aragosta in Ivans every time that we have been in the area. It was always a superb experience. We went for our 40th Wedding Anniversary to the new location in St. George and was greatly disappointed. The service was poor and unattentive. It took an hour and a half to get our entree. The noise at times rose to uncomfortable levels due to a party in a side room. The food was not up to the same standard as their previous location. Will not be going back unless we hear that they are once again the Aragosta that we so loved going to.
Amazing food. Ambience was very romantic Service exceptional! Will be coming back whenever we are in St George
Imi Kun was a wonderful host who really cares about you
Our first visit to this restaurant, and we will definitely go again. very nice atmosphere and food was delicious
Delicious food. I mean really you can’t get this anywhere else in southern utah. The chef was kind enough to come check on us himself.
Great food, lovely atmosphere on the patio, and exceptional service from Delaney. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
My wife and I ate at Aragosta for our 10th anniversary. The service, food quality, and atmosphere were exceptional. The chef introduced himself to us personally. We felt that safety measures in light of Covid-19 were adequate. Overall, we were very satisfied and would love to return.
excellent food with great service and large portions
Horrible service. Didn’t get our meal for almost two hours. My friend ordered the scallops with risotto, which is on the menu and they gave her shrimp. Their excuse was it’s fine dining experience so should take longer. Offered to comp the bill which we would not allow, but asked to take off corkage.
Another wonderful dining experience at Aragosta. The food, the wine, the service was very enjoyable.
We were celebrating 52nd wedding anniversary, so it was a perfect place, romantic as well as nice ambience. The food was wonderful, but mine was just barely warm, I think it would have been better if the temperature of the food was hotter. The service was great, no complaints about that. I will definitely give it a second chance to get a little warmer plate of food.
Absolutely amazing experience! Our waiter was very polite, informative and enjoyable to talk to. The food tasted amazing and the atmosphere was elegant and appropriate for the location and the food type.
As always, a lovely atmosphere and service that was professional and courteous. The Osso Bucco and the Chateaubriand were tender and scrumptious.
Absolute perfection. We can't wait to return. The lamb was unbelievable. The quality was so fresh and well done.
Service was not good. Everything took forever. We were seated for 1 hour and 45 minutes before our entrees arrived. The salads were excellent but after waiting a half hour after completing salads to getting entree we had lost our appetites. Chef Imi was very apologetic but the experience was not up to our expectations.
We waited over an hour for our entree and then it was served cold. Very, very disappointed.
Now located in St. George. The floorpan allows for social distance. Service staff wore masks, although one had a loose mask and her nose kept popping out. Food is outstanding.
We were there last Wednesday for our 30th anniversary. We had been to the Ivins location a couple of times before. They have created a remarkable European/French style with the new location at the Bell Tower. Very spacious and well suited for the times. Wait staff was very attentive and professional. As usual the owner visits the dining room to welcome his guests and ask if we were pleased with his productions. I say productions because they are a work of art right down to the lemon sorbet just before the main course is served. Chef Imi continues to create work's of are in the presentation of his dishes.
We read the reviews before we got to town and were really excited. What a let down. Who serves hot wine? Had to ask for an ice bucket to cool it down to room temp.
For the appetizers we ordered the risotto, which was over cooked, the escargot had no flavor, the calamari was okay.
Entrees, scallops were under cooked, Aragosta Filet was overcooked. Sea Bass was great. One of us asked for an off the menu item, lobster Mac and cheese, to our surprise it was Kraft Mac & Cheese with a few pieces of lobster.
The chef was very apologetic and brought us an incredible desert. Next time we are in town we might give them an other chance.
The restaurant is beautiful, the service is spectacular, the food however leaves much to be desired.. The fillet was $50 and overcooked, the scallops were undercooked, The pasta did not have enough sauce and their website menu lists items that are not on the menu in the restaurant.
