Arawan Thai Bistro & Dessert
Very good Thai. Got in at the last minute with a large group too.
Food was exquisite!! We really enjoyed.
Great place ....as with most Thai restaurants don’t let outside fool you. One of the best in Vegas
We love Arawan! Traveled to Vegas from Canada, and ate here twice last year and made it one of our first stops on this trip. Best Thai food we've ever had.
Food was so good. We were in town for 4 nights and went twice!!
Very disappointing vist ... Went there for a Birthday, former owner left and the new does not have yet a license for liquor and of course this was not mentioned anywhere ... So I had to go to a liquor store close by to buy luke-warm white wine and wait for it to chill in the cooler to toast... In addition , the chef must have changed and same plates that were outstanding during our last visit were now tasteless and mediocre ... .
I had the wonton soup and fried fish. Both portions were huge so be aware of that. I noticed every portion size for other meals were big. The soup was delicious. The fried fish was ok. It looked big but not a lot of meat on it and very boney. It also wasn’t seasoned as well as I had hoped. The service was great. It was a little too quiet so wasn’t amazed by the ambience but it was ok.
Great Thai food and amazing desserts! It’s one of my “go to” places!
Food was cold, service worse. Servers were very busy and not able to attend to the table.
Everything we ate was amazing. It was definitely worth going off the beaten path in Las Vegas. Only wish we had saved room for dessert as we were told they were just as good.
Enjoyed the special catfish so much when we went a year ago that I couldn't wait to go back. Unfortunately was a bit disappointed this time. It was not the tender catfish like last time. It was huge, over deep-fried with very little tender fish to eat. The spring rolls were delicious and we'd go back to Arawan to try some of their other dishes.
Food and service were stellar as always. Our out of town guests always ask to go there when in town. A little disappointed their special mango desert was not available because it is memorable. Make sure to try the teas also.
Love this place! They are always so pleasant and accommodating we had Uber issues and they honored our reservation missing 2 people
Best Thai in Las Vegas
We need notice before make a reservation for no alcohol license.
We realized we had chosen this top notch restaurant LAST time too. We are brilliant in choosing excellent venues. Everything exceeded our expectations. We asked for some modifications to our selections - no problem. I highly recommend the dining experience at Arawan.
The Pad Thai is well presented but it was disappointing in flavor. The prawns on top were not to my liking; not well cleaned out and not seasoned.
Duck was so over done was not eatable. Would never go back.
Great food. Service was somewhat lost in translation.
Definitely worth the drive since it’s away from the trip.
Every time I travel to Las Vegas I want to have a new dining experience. I really enjoy Thai food and will seek out the best in any city I go. I found the best in LAs Vegas. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Be sure to order the deserts as that is the real surprise. You must try this place.
Took the woman I love. Next time I’ll be proposing to her
Even it is not real Thai food, it resembles it. We ordered (to share) PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE, DUCK NOODLE SOUP, CRISPY DUCK. Food is good.
Warm service, kind attention.
Neighborhood not to good at night.
Best food I’ve ever had in LV. The restaurant is off the strip in a decidedly not-swanky area, but do not let that discourage you. Prices are super reasonable and literally every dish we ordered (8 we shared) was delicious. Recommend the beef salad, chicken wings, salad rolls... honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with anything. And very friendly staff.
The service was super slow and the food took forever, even the cucumber salad, that took over 30 minutes
Amazing Thai food. The reviews did not disappoint! Want Thai, in Vegas? Go HERE ♥️
This gem is a neighborhood find. I just wish it was closer to our neighborhood.
Off the beaten path and not what you'd expect from the outside... wonderful ambiance and awesome food!
Fermé, même le Uber n’a pas voulu nous y laisser seuls, parking pas rassurant du tout!
The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The food presentation was nice. My Family and Friends enjoyed it.
Will be coming back! The food, atmosphere and service was amazing!
We selected this restaurant because we couldn't get into Lotus of Siam. The reviews looked great and we had vegetarians in our party. We went for my husbands birthday. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious!!! We ordered the calamari and it was light, crispy and flavorful. I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp. Flavor profiles were complicated and amazing. We ordered the pineapple fried rice and it was probably the best fried rice I've ever tasted. Even the lemonade was delicious - a perfect combination of sweet and sour.
The last surprise was a special dessert they brought for my husband. I asked if they did anything when I booked the reservation. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Thanks so much and we will definitely be back! My stomach is happy.
The food was actually better than I expected..very small quiet place outside the strip if don’t want to be in the noisy casinos..not very big wine selection
Great food and service. I make a point to visit every time I am in Vegas This time we went twice.
The arawan pad thai is amazing with generous pprtions. The only downside to it was that the prawn didn't taste very fresh. Also, this place was lacking AC, and it felt stuffy.
Food is amazing, prices are great and service is fantastic
A little hard to find, but worth it. The food is delicious, and they are happy to accommodate you on your requested spice level. Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, and all curries are wonderful.
We often judge a Thai restaurant based on the Tom Kha Gai. Unfortunately it was bland. Having eaten at MANY Thai restaurants around the country, including New York and San Francisco, the soup was missing the sweetest and zest it needed. While hearty with chicken, there was no lemongrass in the soup and it lacked bay leaf, giving it a one note flavor profile. The Panang curry was also one note.
Pleasantly, they make their fresh wraps to order, so we were able to change the shrimp to tofu.
The wait staff was very nice.
Restaurant is in a post apocalyptic dystopian strip mall setting but don’t let this dissuade you from coming here. Once you enter, the ambience is quite warm, inviting and immediately welcoming.
The ice cold beer served in a frosty mug was a welcome respite from the hot desert heat. Food overall was high quality. Ingredients were fresh and expertly prepared and presented. The summer roll was crisp and you could taste the freshness of the mint and leaves inside. It was served with a delightful sweet and citrusy dipping sauce with crushed peanuts. The Duck Drunken Noodles was amazing and blew us away with the myriad of tangy and zesty flavors. We’d come back here for this dish alone! The Ribeye with Crispy Basil was tasty, but underwhelming due to the delicateness of the sauce in contrast to the Drunken Noodles which were served first. The ribeye steak was thin and had some tough fatty edges. Nevertheless, we were hungry and finished everything! Dessert for us was the Mango Paradise and was probably the best mango rice dessert we’ve ever had (and we’ve been to Bangkok!).
Service was excellent and the wait staff were attentive, warm and friendly.
Highly recommended and we will come back again!
Excellent high-end Thai food restaurant located in the same "less than up-scale" strip mall area as the older "Lotus of Siam". Everything that we tried was outstanding and very well executed. I also appreciated the fact that we could enjoy normal dinner conversation without having to scream at the tops of our lungs in order to be heard. We'll absolutely be back.
