Arnaud's Jazz Bistro
Our Signature dish. Gulf Shrimp marinated in our famous tangy Creole Remoulade Sauce
Petit Filet Lafitte
Sauted and stuffed with fried plump Louisiana oysters. Served with Creole Sauce Robert
This was our favorite meal out of our 4 days in New Orleans! The food, service and atmosphere was amazing.
Loved the service food and music
And museum upstairs too!
Enjoyed two different redfish entrees. Soufflé potatoes as a side are a must experience. And don't miss the bananas foster prepared tableside
Our wait staff were amazing
The service was good and the musicians wonderful. Unfortunately the food was less than impressive. My snapper dish was awful. The fish tasted off-like it was not fresh. While the management graciously took the charge off the bill it was disappointing. I had looked forward to our dessert of bananas foster. Problem was that the bananas were so underripe that they were hard and tasted raw. I understand you need to use a banana that won’t fall about but this was a bit much. If it wasn’t for the lovely service and music I would have given less stars.
Went to Arnaud’s 50 years ago on our honeymoon. Been there many times in between. Always an impeccable experience. Thank you Arnaud’s for another perfect evening!
Classic dining room feel with attentive service and excellent food. Jazz musicians roamed around to play fo the different tables. Good location in French Quarters.
Jazz musicians, food and service were a perfect trio to make an experience much more fabulous than I even expected, and I expected the food and service to be top notch. The music amped it up it all the best way! Not so loud as to impede conversation, but personal, speciali, varied and a pleasant sound level. This was our first time and will definitely be a repeat place on our list of NOLA favs!
Music was great while it lasted, then they went to another room. Food was terrible.
Waited on Appetizers for at least 45 min, then when they figured it out the manager came and advised us we wouldn’t be paying for it... which was fine. Trout was over cooked ... Music good, wait staff wonderful, disappointed in the food.
Very nice experience—the room was cozy and the music was great, top notch 3 piece jazz band playing requests table side. Excellent service, very friendly staff who treated customers well! Prices are high (tiniest $40 steak I’ve ever seen) but it’s all about the experience at Arnaud’s.
Terrible service. Waited 10 minutes to be greeted by server after being seated. That only occurred because we flagged a server. We left after our Oyster Bienville appetizer was served because it looked like something out of Gordon Ramseys kitchen nightmare show. We’ve never bolted between courses but we too afraid of what might be served next. Don’t eat here.
Amazing experience with excellent service and authentic New Orleans food.
Had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday and Mardi Gras!
Have been here for dinner but not brunch. Sadly the food just does not match up. Eggs Hussarde were so far below the standard set by Brennan's. Ambiance is great with music and the room is bright and sunny—just the food was below par.
The food was good but this was no 5 star place. I’d give this 4 stars for a 3 star restaurant.
Absolutely a fabulous experience. Lovely dinner, music was beautiful, atmosphere was wonderful. I would recommend this place highly.
We had an amazing time. The live jazz was great. Service was phenomenal. Atmosphere was just right. I highly recommend this place. Food was scrumptious. Specially the potatoes and the drinks were beyond. Can’t wait to come back!
We loved the food and the music. Great atmosphere!
An excellent dining experience. Food was excellent!
50th wedding anniversary for a couple who honeymooned in New Orleans. Couldn’t have been more memorable. Felt like home. - Bob Dotson, former NBC News Today Show National Correspondent
It is a classic restaurant . The service is ok and the food is ok too. The restaurant is beautiful and the music is amazing. The location is good. I don’t agree that you paid for the music in your table because is part of the restaurant service.
Good food, good jazz and good company. What more could you ask for?
nice place for dinner or date.
we went there for the jazz... the jazz band went around to various tables but did not come close to us unfortunately. the food is a bit pricey
Great for ambiance and music, but the service isn’t what you typically get at a restaurant at the price point. Food was average.
The atmosphere was nice and the food tasty but our dining experience was ruined by the poor service from our waiter. First, he ignored us and I suspect his other customers since he never checked on how our food was and when we needed him several times we had to ask someone to get him because he was nowhere to be seen. My daughter was given the wrong gumbo and when we were able to get him to the table he gruffly responded "We'll just change it." That was an empty non-apologetic response. By the time she received it I was completely finished with my meal. We waited a long time after the appetizer for the rest of our meal and more than 10 minutes for a dessert menu after main dishes were cleared. When we received the bill there was an added dish we did not order. I asked it to be removed and the waiter snatched the bill from my hand again with no apology. Frankly with service like this the price of the food was not worth it. A professional waiter should be much better than he in an establishment such as Arnaud's. We went and were fine with prices for the complete dining experience but he ruined that experience and we will never return. Too many other great restaurants in New Orleans. He was the worst waiter we had during our entire stay which included all types of restaurants.
Food was just ok. Drinks were great!
Great service, good food (we ate light) and great music. We went late (9pm) so missed most of the music, as they ended @10pm. We enjoyed it while it lasted!
Had high expectations for this infamous bistro. Service was very slow but friendly. Food was good but definitely not worth the cost. I will not return.
Great food. One of our servers,Cali, was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make our dinner experience great. He was professionally friendly and enlightened us with the history of the restaurant.
Everything was great. Food, service and the jazz trio was perfect for setting a New Orleans vibe.
We had multiple waiters...some were good, some were pushy on ordering food and some had no idea what they were doing. The quality of the food was just OK and way overpriced IMO. There are much better places to eat in NOLA. We had street performers right outside our window playing drums on 5 gallon buckets that was so loud we couldn't hear the band. When leaving one of the band members pointed towards his tip bucket...needless to say he got no tip. They have been around forever and are living on a reputation of the past. Today's standards have passed them by...
Great service, delicious food, the most yummy bread. The live Jazz music was an added bonus.
Great food, great music, great service! A must stop in NOLA
Lots of character and ambiance, very good food, and the jazz trio was on point.
