We had reservations for Saturday night, and were very pleased with our meal and the restaurant. We will definitely be back again.
We had a lovely meal with excellent wine, food, and service. My grandparents rarely eat a lot and will often split an entree but at Arturo's they both finished their individual plates! Compliments to the chef.
One of the best meals we have ever had!!!! Service was excellent!!! We ordered the Dover sole and the Halibut with side of sautéed spinach. Appetizers escargot and calamari and everything was sooooo delicious!! The Halibut was out of this world!! Can’t believe I have lived in the area for 30yeara and never new about this place. Will return many times. Yes prices are higher than a normal restaurant but this is not a run of the mill place and is worth the money.
Despite multiple requests, the waiter refused to let us order appetizers in advance of selecting our entrees. Three requests were made to get appetizers after wine and drinks were ordered so that we could share some of them and decide what to order at our leisure. We were refused three times and were told that the only way the chef could time everything was if all food orders were put in at the same time. Interestingly enough, I had lunch here the week prior, and thew waiter could not have been more accommodating wrt to what we ordered and when.
Our dinner reservation was at 6:00 on a Thursday evening, so not a busy time. As a result of the waiter's demand, we had to stop conversing (three couples who had not seen each other for nearly 6 months and had lots of catching up to do) and focus on the menus/our orders so that we could get some food on the table more quickly. In the mean time, we ate bread, that while good was not how we wanted to fill ourselves.
The rigidity of the waiter definitely changed the mood of the evening, and it never got back to the good cheer with which it started.
The food was quite good in the end, although the entrees did not arrive at the same time. Given the prices at this restaurant, for dinner in particular, they should do a better job with the service.
Wonderful for a quiet slow paced dinner. Great food quality, attentive service.
Outstanding, high end, Italian in a spot that you would never expect. Don't let the location and surrounding business fool you. An absolute hidden jem in Glen Burnie.
Consistently fine service. Definitely the best Italian food in the area--and saves you a trip into Baltimore or into Annapolis. Much of their own pasta---and always trying new items. Consistently fresh fish with absolutely splendid whole fish (Dover Sole and Bronzino), plus great Tuna, Salmon, Swordfish and Sea Bass. Its very hard to find anything wrong with this place....and somehow they keep improving!
We have been to Arturo's several times and it is always outstanding.
Amazing, spectacular, marvelous...some words that don’t even come close to describing our experience! The food was out of this world. You can tell Francisco’s heart and soul goes into his food. The ambiance was just perfect as well. The staff welcomed us with open arms. We truly were treated like family here. We cannot wait to come back!
Simplicity is the closest thing to dining in Italy! You will love this non-descript (from the outside) restaurant! Amazing food and wonderful service!!
Interesting menu. The food was well prepared, served hot, and very tasty. Service attentive and helpful.
Amazing food! Home made pasta & delicious seafood
What a treasure this restaurant is! My sister and I met there for late lunch — needed a good restaurant near BWI. The food was absolutely superb. My sister had lamb w blueberry sauce. I had tuna with a divine reduction sauce. Both excellent. The vegetables were equally delicious (the mark of a good chef is to not neglect the vegetables IMHO). Fabulous chocolate soufflé. Awesome Italian Zinfandel. Thank you to chefs, kitchen staff, and all the attentive wait staff for a truly wonderful meal.
GREAT FOOD AND PLENTY OF IT. THIS IS THURSDAY AND I JUST HAD SOME OF THE LEFTOVER CIOPPINO FOR LUNCH AT HOME. I WAS THERE ON MONDAY.
SERVICE WAS MAGNIFICENT. VERY ATTENTIVE. PLEASANTLY CHATTY. KNEW THE MENUS WELL.
LOVED THE QUIET ATMOSPHERE.
EASY DRIVE EVEN ON ROUTE 3 BUT BE ATTENTIVE OR YOU MIGHT MISS IT. ODD LOCATION FOR A HIGH END RESTAURANT. STRIP MALL WITH LAUNDROMAT, NAILS, etc.
We were celebrating my birthday with my family. Great food and great service. Many thanks to the whole staff at Arturo’s.
A gem in a strip mall! Delicious food and wine, lovely service but a little pricey. Would definitely save up :) to go back and try many more items on the menu.
Hands down the best Italian restaurant in the DC Baltimore area.
The restaurant is one of our favorites and our go to special occasion spot, so we have been here many times. On this dining experience, however, one guest in our party thought there was too much dressing on the house salad, wished they had gotten it on the side, and unfortunately ended up not even finishing it. Another disappointment was the very small scoop of mashed potatoes and skimpy cauliflower portion that came with 2 of the entrees we ordered. For the price of the entrees, the medium size of the protein, relatively low cost involved for the sides, we felt they should have been more substantial. Won’t prevent us from coming back, just wanted to share our thoughts on these two things.
It was outstanding as usual. Service and the food are always over the top
We frequently invite friends to Arturo's Trattoria. Outstanding food and value.
Always amazing, food, wine and service. My favorite restaurant!!!
I had a wonderful dining experience at Arturo‘s Trattoria. I would visit there again
Excellent as always. Beautiful dining environment, amazing food, top-notch service.
The food and service was great. The noise level was average. The tables are close together .
3rd time here. Food and service continue to be outstanding!
Outstanding food and attentive service. Also, it is an extensive menu.
We had an amazing dinner, organized by Chef Francisco. The beautiful potato soup decorated with pancetta and flavored oils set up the expectations for the remarkable pasta, angioletti stuffed with ricotta and spinach in brown butter sage sauce, and then fresh fish perfectly seared in an herb sauce.
Little Gem tucked in a shopping center with great food and service... Will not disappoint
Excellent food and excellent service!
My husband and I went to Arturo’s to celebrate our anniversary. It was a Wednesday night. Business was brisk but the restaurant was not full and there was no wait. Our server, however, made a point of repeatedly telling us how busy he was, he did not acknowledge our anniversary until dessert was served and then said news was traveling slow because he was so busy. The owner, host who is a wonderful fellow had wished us a happy anniversary when he seated us which was very nice.
I was also a little annoyed that our server attempted to “up sell” me on my cocktail order by suggesting a top shelf spirit. Rather then the drink I ordered from the cocktail menu. Arturo’s is a nice restaurant and the prices reflect that, I detest when a server attempts to increase our check by suggesting “add ons”
The food was delicious and beautifully prepared, our mood was a little further soured by a patron at the table next to us, who had more than her fill of Moscow Mules and limoncello and became quite loud Nd distracting.
This wasn’t our first visit to Arturo’s and I’m sure it won’t be the last, I just can’t give it 5 stars based on this particular experience
Convenient, great food and awesome service. We always have a wonderful time and are not disappointed
We celebrated our anniversary with family at Arturo's as we have done in the past. Arturo's is a marvelous find for someone who enjoys ownership and their employees that care and take pride that you have selected their restaurant to dine. The chef produced five different entrees with homemade pasta with lobster, bone-in rib eye gorgeous steak, to veal parmesan; absolutely superb. If you select Arturo's Trattoria, you will not be let down. It's hard to believe that it's located in a small strip center on MD Business 3, worth the trip.
A hidden gem that’s really not hidden to those of us that enjoy fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere.
Consistently good food and good service
The restaurant was empty for our 1230 reservation which was baffling considering the exemplary service and outstanding cuisine. I had the beef carpaccio and salmon entree; others had the agnolotti and the shrimp and scallop pasta. Everything was excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an upscale dining option in Glen Burnie.
We so wish we would have tried Arturo’s before this! Please do not be put off by the location in a little nondescript strip of shops. Once inside you will surely forget the outside. We were there on a Monday evening, so it was not too busy, and our servers were attentive and personable. My husband and I both had salads (Caesar and arugula), the lobster ravioli from the specials menu, and creme brûlée ...all excellent. We will be returning.
Arturo's Trattoria is the best Italian Restaurant in the area.
Great again as usual. Delicious food in every category
poor food quality, service good at times. overpriced
Excellent food, excellent service. It is always a treat to eat here. Have never been disappointed!
