Atlanta Fish Market
Decent food but not great.
the food was delicious, the service was excellent, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
We had a nice dinner with friends. The food was pretty good. I think we expected a little better service, but it wasn't bad. The oysters were awesome!
The food was excellent. I enjoyed the blackened Mahi Mahi. The service was outstanding! Will definitely eat here again when I am in the area.
My whole family came for my moms 70th birthday dinner and the food was amazing! Our waiter did an amazing job handling all of us.
Experience was great; however if took a long time for our food to come out other than that the service and server, Tucker, were great.
Food is always good @ AFM. Good value for the food quality.
The food was delicious and the servers were genuinely helpful and friendly
Good. Food is delicious and good service.
Our server had been there 3 months and was NOT customer friendly
Well This is my first trip to the Atlanta Fish Market . Thursday at 5:30pm and the place was really quiet. More activity in the sushi bar and private events apparently.. Prices are fair and it is apparent the place has been there for many years.. The garlic Mussels were very good in portion and flavor. The fried Calamari was over cooked rubber bands and portion was small... We had the broiled sampler platter.
Shrimp were over cooked, scallops were undercooked. crab cake was fair and salmon was over cooked and unseasoned.. overall lack of seasoning was evident. scale of 1-10 they get a 5.. Service was fair.. wait staff spending time with their nose in their personal phones also gathering and socializing in middle of dining room.
Awesome as always. The only downside is the mandatory valet. The parking lot is too close for that crap and a $2 charge?? Come on... Doesn’t keep me from going but it’s irritating at the end of a good meal.
Always love my favorite broiled lobster tail dinner!
Outstanding service, food, and atmosphere!
Lobster roll was lacking in lobster. Service was average at best.
We celebrated our anniversary there. It was a slow Monday night, but the waitstaff was nice and the food was good. I would recommend for a date/family/friend/girls night out if you want good seafood.
Outstanding lunch menu: great Kale Salad and superb fish selection and preparation.
Excellent dinner with friends... always love the Chilean Sea Bass Hong Kong Style!!!
I appreciate the chef making one of the entrees gluten free for me
I wind up going there just once a year thanks to Buckhead Life Group Dine around card. Atlanta Fish market is, by far, my favorite place to eat. I read a review that the interior was starting to look a bit shabby (large fake trees) and I can agree with that - however - the food is SO excellent that I can overlook it. I rarely need a menu - I always order the skate fish which I have only seen at Kyma (another Buckhead Life Restaurant). My girlfriend order broiled salmon and she said hers, too, was perfect. Our server was wonderful - he made some great suggestions and was just a super nice guy! We'll be back next year unless I can convince someone else to take me!
Food was very good
Best seafood and staff. Overall great experience and we will return as many times as we can
Food was amazing. My only complaint is the marketing of lobster. The menu states the fried lobster is 1 pound market value; they then bring and charge you for 2 pounds. Otherwise great food and wonderful service.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service.
Quinton our sever was very attentive answered any questions and resolved any issue quickly with no hesitation. Food was hot and tasteful.
food was amazing - services was great but TOO overbearing - too many interruptions in my conversation. I didn't come to talk with the staff..i came to talk with my friend! back up people!!!!
Celebrating wife’s special accomplishment
Food and service was outstanding. No complaints.
The restrooms reeked of a sewage smell. We complimented the manager when we left about how good the food and service was while the server was standing by our side. We then told him about the bathroom issue and his reaction was emotionless. No apology just responded “okay”.
It will be awhile before we try again based purely on his response.
Fantastic fish dishes.... BUT, the chef uses too much salt in the Savannah crab bisque. Tried this soup on two separate occasions with the same issue. First time told our waitress and she politely offered something else. I said no because it tasted good, just salty. She reported my comment and came back to say: chef agreed it was too salty. Second visit, same soup, same issue. Tonight we had the seafood gumbo as our appetizer and later in the evening mouth was dry and fingers swollen. Again this gumbo was flavorful, just heavy on the salt.
Don’t understand why some chefs get heavy handed when seasoning the soups??? Atlanta Fish Market is batting 100 percent in the too salty soup department.
Zero complaints with others menu items.
We came a little later on a Sunday so the ambiance was very chill . We’ve been here previously on a Friday and Saturday night and it was way different . I would definitely come back on a Sunday evening if I wanted to have another more intimate/ quiet dinner.
Consistently good, fresh seafood. Tried sushi this time -- freshly made and very good (spicy tuna). Love the jumbo lump crab and a good salad.
Food was very good. Negative was the explanation of mkt price for lobster. Server stated the current mkt price for lobster was $28/lb. Ordered 1 lb. lobster tail and was charged $59. Manager came over to explain lobster tail mkt price was not the same as lobster mkt price (no distinction is made on menu). Manager explanation was more an argument than pleasant explanation (kind of ruined the evening). He did offer $12 discount (not sure how he arrived at that). Better server and manager training would help.
Excellent service. Brilliant presentation. Great cuisine.
Really enjoyed our dinner!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary. Food was outstanding! Clam chowder, lobster sides, and dessert all great!
This place is like if Red Lobster and Cheesecake Factory merged. Except no delicious cheesy biscuits or cheesecake. Lots of mediocre options for a mediocre meal, with mediocre service. The furniture was destroyed, the restaurant was super loud. I will never go back. I can’t believe this place is popular.
