This was my second time there and it was a very good experience. The food is very good, prices are reasonable - especially for the quality - and the service was great, too.
My wife had the beet salad and halibut special. The salad was a little light on the goat cheese but the halibut was perfect.
I had the Caesar salad and pork chop. The chop was cooked perfectly.
All in all a great experience. Nice job to all.
Very good overall, our waiter Paul, could have been a little more attentive, he asked me if I wanted a second glass of wine and said yes. He immediately walked away without asking the lady if she wanted another glass.. As it turned out she did not want a second glass but he certainly should have asked her and not ignore her...
Other then that the food and atmosphere was good..

Great night out. Lovely bar/restaurant atmosphere. Our server, Kristen, was excellent! Made our night very special and fun. We asked her opinion and suggestions and took them. So glad we did. Everything was outstanding. Chef is amazing. And the Manager, Mike, was very attentive which made the evening very personal.
Food was outstanding! Service was top notch! Seating was very comfortable! Will visit again in the future.

Party of 4...some loved their dish and others not so much. I think the kitchen is hit or miss and doesn't like cooking Ribeyes correctly...BTW the gorgonzola crusted flavor is amaaaaaazing but you better like that type of flavor on your steak. The quality of the meat and correct temperature is what they just couldn't get right.

Kevin was our server, we had a great time, food was top notch, our table had Salmon, Halibut, Pork Chops, everyone loved the food, the beet salad is worth going back again, and the muscles were so good we added a second helping. A bit pricey, but not a place you go for a cheap quick meal.
The dinner was awesome, service was excellent, we enjoyed our evening and definitely will go back

As always a wonderful time eating here. The food is always consistent, and the service is top notch. Easily, Bacchus is my favorite restaurant in Buffalo.
The scallop special was outstanding! The flavors were balanced, everything cooked and plated perfectly; this should be on the regular menu! I had the crusted salmon and my husband had the ribeye, both were delicious! We finished the meal with the sticky toffee cake. It would have benefited from some fresh whipped cream or a bit of ice cream, but it was still a very tasty dessert! We will definitely be back.
Food is outstanding. I had the halibut special and it was the best seafood entrée I’ve had at any restaurant anywhere. The halibut was cooked perfectly, not dried out as I’ve had in other restaurants.

Really like valet parking. Greeted very kindly and professionally. Bar and server service exceptional. The food options and taste really great.
We were fortunate to get a last minute reservation when dining at another establishment wasn't working. Have to say that the complementary valet here is greatly appreciated, especially in the winter. We were seated at a wonderful table for two by the front window. Along with the great food & service the people watching in the area can be fun. The host was very personable upon greeting us & offered us our choice of 2 tables. Our server was prompt in approaching our table & very knowledgeable about the menu. While we only ordered a glass of wine each as opposed to a bottle, she served our wine out of a fresh bottle right at our table & offered us a chance to taste & approve of the wine first. I was very impressed with this as usually when ordering by the glass this is not an option. Bread & a herb seasoned oil was served while we waited for our appetizer. Instead of pouring oil onto a plate or simply bringing a plate with oil, it was served by having it in a small glass upside down on the plate. The server after placing the plate on the table quickly lifted the glass straight up allowing the oil to spill out onto the plate. Thought that this added to their attention to detail here as well as to their enhancing the customer's dining experience. We started out with sharing an order of mussels. They were fresh & plentiful. They tasted very good. Sometimes mussels to me have a strong taste. These were very smooth & gentle tasting. I have to think that this is attributed to their quality or freshness or both. The broth they were in was very good & complemented the bread nicely when dipping it in to it. For entrees I chose a shrimp crusted swordfish. It came with risotto & grilled asparagus. It was cooked perfectly & very good. My wife had a halibut dish that was a special. I tasted her risotto & was jealous that I hadn't ordered it. She enjoyed it & was able to enjoy the leftovers the next day for lunch. For dessert we shared a Vanilla Crème Brûlée that was delicious.
Everything was great! It was our anniversary and we were greeted with glasses of champagne, which was a great welcome. The food was phenomenal. I definitely recommend getting the meat and cheese board starter.
Bacchus is a great secret in Buffalo. Better do something about marketing g because it’s one my top 3 list. All too often I bring people who never considered goi g. That’s a big problem for you.
The service and food were very good but something was wrong with the exhaust system and it was incredibly smoky in the restaurant. It really changed the experience. It made it difficult to breath, our clothing and jackets smelled horrible when we left and we couldn’t wait to get fresh air.
I was disappointed in the food. The food and service were average at best. I would not return.
Fabulous. Cassoulet appetizer, scallops, halibut, everything was super. It’s a terrific pre-show option, and a real treat for any night.
