Bahama Breeze - Kennesaw
Love the ambiance! Truly feels like you are in the islands. Menu could be improved- add chips and salsa.
Date night out! We sat on the screened in patio with live music! The drinks and food was great. Relaxing atmosphere and Fun!
We made our reservations with opentable. Even though the restaurant was very busy we were seated within 5 min of arriving. The food was great! I wish there was one a little closer to home.
The server was fantastic. Everything else just wasn’t that great. I had reservations but I wasn’t seated on time. I will not be returning. Also it was Valentine’s Day any a young kid was making a lot of noise. Not very romantic but that my fault for going here.
Glad I could make an advance reservation through open table, because it was super busy.
The server was excellent and made some great suggestions. Coconut mojito was great. Had to wait a bit on our food, but to be expected on Valentine’s Day. Missed hearing music on our side of the restaurant, which is part of the ambiance after all. Other than that, a great experience as always, and we’ve visited many times.
We went here for Valentine's day. I"m very glad we had reservations through opentable as we were seated very quickly. The hostess was efficient and nice. Our waiter was also good. My husband enjoyed the jerk chicken pasta. I had the taste of Jamaica plate which was average, I would not get this again. The drinks were good, and appetizers were good, I just did not enjoy the main entree. I would go back and try a different entree. Overall I liked the service and decor, and hope for better food next time.
Reservations went without a hitch. Had a nice table on edge of room overlooking outdoor dining. I'm telling you, the Rum Cake, topped with a handmade raisin butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream was about as good a dessert as I have ever had..
We celebrated Valentine’s Day at Bahama Breeze. Our reservation was at 6, we arrived about 5:55 & were seated immediately. They were very busy, but we wanted to take our time. We had the Jerk shrimp appetizer and it was delicious! We asked for a second loaf of dipping bread (1.79 charge) because the sauce was so good! We delayed ordering our meal until the appetizer was served. We also asked that our entrees not be brought out until we finished our salads, & they were not. Our server was pleasant & attentive. The food was awesome! We will definitely go back & recommend BB to friends!
Valentines dinner for my wife and I. First time eating here. Was seated right away with my reservation. Service was great. Food was awesome. We will be back.
Excellent food and Service as usual
Tyree is the best server !! Very attentive knows his menu very well. Wants to request him every time
It is incredibly dusty in your restaurant.
Everything was great, the server only forgot that I had ordered a side salad and never got but I don’t think s he heard me otherwise everything was great!
First time in Atlanta. Had visited other locations
Date with wife.
The Skillet jerk shrimp were amazing. First time I had them and I was very satisfied.
The plantains are also one of my favs.
We no longer live in an area with Bahama Breeze, so we were looking forward to being near one on a recent trip. We went with high hopes to enjoy some of the items we had enjoyed in the past and a fun "tropical" dinner.
The ambiance was immediately whiplash though when instead of tropical music, it seemed that the live music for the night was motown.
After being seated, it took a few minutes before a server came over to see what we'd like to drink. We ordered our drinks, and then asked about some appetizers. We were disappointed to find out this location does not have the coconut onion rings. (Not sure if that's just this location or a change across all Bahama Breeze, but seriously! You have coconut shrimp on the menu, but you no longer have coconut onion rings?) I ended up ordering a cup of the black bean soup, but after 10+ minutes when only my bar drink had arrived, I started suspecting that the soup would not be showing up. This was confirmed when our main courses arrived and right about that time our server came by again to ask if we'd gotten everything. I mentioned the soup and she apologetically admitted that she had forgotten to put it in, and asked if I still wanted it "on her". I said no, since my main course meal was already there, but suggested that we might like a dessert instead. She looked at me surprised and said "on me?" I said, "yes...? instead of the soup?" She said she would see what she could do, and walked away. We ate our meal, having to flag down another waiter at one point to get refills on our waters. We saw her occasionally running to other tables in the section, but you got the impression she either had too many tables, or had other tables in another section that she was having trouble running between. As we finished our main course, she came by our table and confirmed that she was able to get us a dessert, so after she took our plates, she came back with our pie.
The food was good, but it was not our best experience.
We do not often eat at Bahama Breeze as there is not one close, however I was craving Coconut shrimp and my husband, Paella. so we took the trip. We are so glad we did. We were seated promptly and the server, Brian was attentive, helped me with suggestions as I do not eat rice or potatoes. Our meal was delicious! My husband brought home half of the Paella and said it was still amazingly good after reheating. The manager greeted us when we arrived and said good night and shook hands as we left. The big news here is our waiter Brian. I am a wedding planner and deal with a-lot of really nice hotels. Brian could be an employee at any Ritz Carlton. He is gracious, kind, patient, attentive to a half full glass, and kept an eye on our table the whole time we were there. Bravo, Brian. We shall be back soon and will ask to be seated in your section.
We traveled for over 2 hours for my little girl. It was her 8th birthday party and all she wanted was Bahama Breeze and since there isn’t one closer to home we travel to this location to share special moments like today. We had a fantastic time. Thank you and thank you to our server Zach he was awesome!
Reservation was for 7:30 and we were not seated until 8:30 then service was terrible. They were obviously in over their heads. Manager offered free appetizer but then didn’t follow through. Finally got meals at 9:30 and food is average. Overall a terrible dining experience and will not be going back.
Great drinks, great menu choices, attentive server. What more can you ask?
Our server was not attentive at all, We had to flag her down several times to get help. Any question we had on drinks she reminded us numerous times that she was only 19 and didn't drink. We will think twice before going back.
Wonderful atmosphere. Great food. Great service.
We had a great Christmas Eve dinner. The server was also the bar tender but she provided excellent service!
Great service, nice atmosphere. Table was on time. Drinks a little pricey.
Delicious food as always. Great service, nice music playing in the background. Always a good place to eat.
The food was well prepared and the presentation was great. Waiter paid attention to needs of our party of 9
I ordered the jerk chicken pasta and it was awful. The chicken was dried out and had grizzle in it. If it was my first time there I would never go back. I will give them one more try but if it is this bad I will be done.
Great atmosphere, we sat on the patio and the live music they had was amazing! Food was great!!
The service was great. We dined for a Thanksgiving Day meal.
We reserved a table for 6 for Thanksgiving. They had a turkey plate with all the fixings; or you could order off the menu. Hubby and I got the turkey, along with one of our friends. Everyone else ordered off the menu, fish tacos and shrimp linguini. Everything was yummy and cooked perfectly. Our waitress, Rocky, was excellent and filled all requests for more beverages, special sauces, etc. She’s definitely a hardworking server; pleasant and friendly too! Our food took a tad longer than we expected, but I still rated it 5 stars. A busy holiday like Thanksgiving always takes a little longer. Not as long as some other restaurants we’ve eaten at for Thanksgiving though. Highly recommend this restaurant. Nice selections for everyone on the menu. Full bar. Great atmosphere and nice sound level. Although it was full, the design of the interior absorbed the noise. We’ll definitely be back.
We made reservations for Thanksgiving lunch and everything was perfect. The place was busy but they got is in with our reservation. They offered traditional holiday food but we ordered from the regular menu. Despite being busy the service was still great.
Food was great, service was great, lighting was horrible and disappointed because we wanted seafood and that’s what the restaurant feel under when we googled but there wasn’t a lot of options.
Food was good but expected it to be a little more spicy. Live music was very suitable to the type of restaurant. Service was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Very good selection of cocktails, mocktails, martinis and mules.
We have never had a bad meal here whether we've gone in with 2 people or 8.
Great grilled seafood, salads, and tostones!
Everything was well prepared and well serviced.
Only Con was they no longer serve the Key West Fish Tacos with any kind of sauce thus we’re a bit bland
Always a great experience for casual dining!
Service is always phenomenal
