Food beautifully prepared and displayed. Delicious and unique recipes. Service immaculate and very accommodating.

We moved to the area and were excited to try a new place. The service was great as we were literally the only ones there while dining. The food just seemed off for some reason. The octopus was pretty chewy and under seasoned. My husband’s main dish he didn’t eat any of the scallops as they had a fishy taste. My chicken seemed like it was beaten and way over cooked. Overall we were both just generally underwhelmed with the food which was disappointing as there were such great reviews. I will say the side of gnocchi was good as was the wine we got.

Always a wonderful experience going to this amazing restaurant. Never have had a bad meal there and the atmosphere and wait staff are terrific.

Food and service were great. Terrific setting in the alleyway between the two buildings made if feel like we were dining in Europe. Great heaters as well as we were able to even take our jackets off. Great job Basilico.

Service was excellent, food was amazing! White truffle gnocchi was delicious! I had a homemade spaghetti special with Shrimp, zucchini and cherry tomatoes. It was fantastic. Thank you for a nice evening, especially during these times. Will go back again!

Lasagna was delicious!

Another pleasant evening with social distancing and outdoor dining, and heat too. The short ribs were delicious as was the penne a la Ligura with generous fresh salads to start. Good service, food consistently very good.

The linguine with lobster and shrimp in a spicy sauce was delicious. The pumpkin brûlée cheesecake is a winner. The outdoor cafe is warm and cozy

Basilico has been me and my wife's go-to spot for romantic date nights, anniversaries and special occasions for many years now. We mainly love the atmosphere, the delicious food and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. And a big benefit is that it's B.Y.O.B., so that always saves us a little on the bill. I love they always have great fresh oysters, nice portions and a wide variety of fancy Instagram-worthy delicious desserts!

Wonderful meal as always and the outdoor set up was lovely! Terrific service and meals were all delicious! We will return!

A outstanding surprise! Given current circumstances, they created a fantastic atmosphere and the food was beyond expectations. A very special place with high quality and friendly staff. Save "lots' of room for desert. While the meal was outstanding, the sweet offerings were beyond excellent in both flavor and size. Highly recommended!

Fantastic meal in a beautiful outdoor setting! We thoroughly enjoyed the lighted and heated alleyway with it's gorgeous brick walls and window boxes. We stayed quite comfortable under the overhead heat lamps. Perfection on a Saturday night.

This was my first time dining at Basilico, everything about this place was perfect. The food, the Aviance, and the Service was excellent. Loved It.

This was our first visit back sine February due to the pandemic. We sat in the patio, didn’t feel we were ready to dine indoors. There is a lot of outdoor seating. We walked the the dining room and were very impressed with the spacing, so much so that we made a reservation to return for our anniversary. The good was delicious as always, my husband had oysters which he says are the best of anywhere he has them and the veal chop parmigiana which was huge. I had the mushroom soup which I always love and the gnocchi which are like little clouds of pasta, very light not heavy like most are.
Basilico remains one of our top favorites restaurants. Ohh, the pistachio biscotti was so good, not jaw breaking like some I’ve had.

My wife and I went to Basilico on September 17, 2020 to celebrate our anniversary. We sat outside since it was a nice evening. From beginning to end, the wait staff did every they could to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The food was outstanding. I had the tuna tartare appetizer and Stripped Bass special, while my wife had the Prosciutto, melon, and fig special appetizer and Spaghettini alla Arrabbiata. The desserts were also excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend Basilico.

Loved the ally outdoor dining setup it felt like a street in Italy! Food and service is always excellent. This restaurant never waivers from that standard.

The outside porch was a beautiful place to eat - and covered in case of rain. Food was very good, both appetizers & entrees, loved that it’s a BYO - but food was somewhat pricey.

The alley dining is beautiful and quiet! Ask for the Alley over the Street or back patio!

Basilico is a top notch offering. A great choice for intimate dinners to larger gatherings. The food is delicious and freshly sourced. There are always additions to the menu which ensures variety and a nod to the seasons. Service is attentive and friendly. It continues to be a favorite.

We love this place and wish we could get here more. The food is always phenomenal. The truffle dishes are definitely worth trying. You just can’t go wrong.

The wait staff probably didn't get a full training....pleasant but not as professional as you might expect.
The coffee was hot but the type of coffee used was disappointing...not a rich blend.
Very good spot for dinner if attending a performance at the Papermill Playhouse.

Well, I made a reservation which was honored when we arrived on time. We were seated, with the wine poured and menus being looked at, when the hostess told us we had to move to another table

Grilled artichoke salad with avocado and shaved parm is not to be missed. Osso Buco outstanding.

Our favorite Italian restaurant! The staff is so friendly and attentive we have come here for years. The food is amazing no matter what you get. We always have room for the Tiramisu!

Had a great experience at Basilico. Went there before seeing a play at Papermill Playhouse. It was crowded yet our food cane out quickly and we had no problem making the show. The Squash Soup was delicious followed by the sole pan seared to perfection. My wife had the spinach lasagna and she loved it. We shared the Strawberry Soufflé dessert and it was well worth the calories.
