Service was ok, didn’t check up on us until we finished dinner. Needed a refill on water and our drinks during our meal but whatever. Guess they were short staffed.

Excellent food, pretty good wine list. Very reliable quality, my go to when in a new city. Service always good, usually experienced, efficient servers who know their menus and wine lists and always have a good recommendation if you are having a hard time choosing.

COVID rules were followed by all servers. We booked early so BR was not crowded - plenty of space between tables/booths. Reservation was made through Open Table. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. Good house wine. Front desk staff need to work a bit harder on their people skills. Being told that we had "to get out promptly by 7 pm" could have been phrased more diplomatically especially as there were only 2 of us and reservation was for 5.30 pm!!. Other than that it was all good.

Altogether it was ok.
Drinks - Does not even close resemble pictures. Waterdown and served in ugly 50 cents glasses.
Appetizers - Just ok. Lobster stuffed mushroom cups. Do not kid yourself - there are not lobster, but cheese. Calamari - 1/3 of what portion should be, and not cleaned properly.
Caesar salad - that lettuce was not crispy. It felt like it was on a way out to garbage but ended up at our table. But the main courses were very good. Salmon was fresh and cooked perfectly. Rib steak was excellent. So, I am not going back there, but if you do skip the salads and appetizers. Do not order cocktails, just wine, and stick to the main couese only.

Our server was not too excited to be there. The food was tastier before, the coslaw salad was a bit dry, the Caesar drink didn’t look appealing. The colour was a dark brown instead of a nice dark red. The food portions were smaller than before. No moose was not available for dessert. The brownie tasted like it was warmed up in the microwave.
I would probably will not return very soon.

Patio OK for Covid. Spaced apart. service was good. Food was cold and average. Surprised as it was not that busy. No rush to return.

Food was poor quality and ambiance was not nice. Cheap white tables outside not even a table cloth or something to make it look nicer considering the outdoor situation.

great time for my first out since covid started! it’s was my 19th birthday. i had a great time and the food was great. mijto wasn’t the best but the pineapple sangria was amazing!

Should get some music for the patio!

The only problem was my husbands choice of Gnocchi. Next time he make another choice although the amount of chicken that was on my serving was enough for 2. We shared that!

Amazing service by a great group of people

Service was slow. Different servers helped us, but they didn’t communicate with each other. Server apologized at the end of the evening for all the confusion. Very expensive for the amount of food. Chilean sea bass was very thin.

We enjoyed our meal at Baton Rouge. Our table was ready when we arrived. The waitress was attentive without being obtrusive. She brought the beers quickly and returned to take our food orders shortly after. My roast beef dip was moist and flavourful. The restaurant was quiet enough for easy conversation. Overall - I was happy with everything and look forward to coming back again.

Our server Tim was amazing, recommended a great bottle of wine and know the menu inside out. Overall our experience was fantastic and that’s why we always return. If a had to comment on anything negative it’s the short skirts the waitress were wearing, they were highly inappropriate, super short and barely there

Food was adequate but service was super-slow. We were given a time-window of 2hrs, but because of slow service, were there for 3hrs.

Overall the food and ambience was amazing. My boyfriend and I usually order from the prix fixe menu which comes with a salad or soup, entree, and dessert and we LOVE getting the surf and turf. The value is great and everything from the salad to the entree were spot on. Every component on the plate couldn't taste better and were perfectly seasoned. As for the dessert, it's usually a cheesecake which is pretty good but would be nice to change it up every so often as that has been the dessert for the past 5 or 6 times we've been here.

Typically the ambience is pretty quiet/moderate, romantic, and is great for special occasions, anniversaries, or a date to impress your significant other! Most staff and servers are friendly and nice. However, the service tonight could have been a lot better as he barely checked up on us or as frequent as we would like for refills or the food, and wasn't as friendly as other servers we've had in the past. Regardless, it was a wonderful time and will definitely be returning on the next occasion.

Understanding it was Valentine’s Day had rsvp for 7:30pm got seated closer to 8pm. Why make an rsvp?
Food was warm not very hot, had to ask for water & straws numerous times. Cutlery was not clean in napkins had to ask for new. Have dined at the location numerous times better experiences.

This was a birthday dinner and it was on Valentines Day. Our overall experience was positive, especially with our waiter. He was great! The things that disappointed me were the table and how crowded the restaurant was overall. We understood that because it was Valentine’s Day they wanted as many people to get a table as possible, but it made it super difficult to navigate or even sit comfortably with so many people barley an arms length away. We also noticed that our table was verryyyy rickety and unbalanced. I had to press down on it with my arms to keep it still and levelled and this is not ideal especially if you need to cut a steak. Overall positive, just minor things could have been improved

The food was not hot. It was just above room temperature. The carpets were dirty.

The server was attentive and very helpful.
