Due to Covid we didn’t get the show, and ate outside. We were ok with that because we have been several times. The food and service were excellent! Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating to our requests.

They are doing their best during a pandemic, but even with a reservation waited over 20 min for the table to be ready.

It was my very first time to this Benihana in San Diego. But my friends go to this Benihana all the time. I really did have a good time and alot of fun and very exciting and very enjoyable.

Benihana is one of favorite places, it’s always entertaining and the food is excellent.

The chief was sick and she kept on coughing and sneezing. She will turn to her side every time, but she would cover her mouth with her hands and come back and grab the utensils and continue to cook.
I am a nurse and I can see she wasn't feeling good at all, because she continued to drop things from her hand. She was not able to provide the excellent and exceptional experience you would normally have.
My family was feeling very uncomfortable but we decided not to say anything because we were some how afraid of the reaction.

She also forgot that we ordered an extra fried rice for the Bday boy, because it is his favorite food in the world. Instead of her getting another one, she divided 4 rice to 5. So, the rice we normally get was a little bit empty and we got charged for it.

We are now sneezing and having flu like symptoms.

I hope she is better by now.

I think the flavor of the food has come down a bit. Every time i go flavor is less and less. More than anything i keep coming back for the experience
