We booked a table for six people for 18:30 as a quick bite to eat between events at a local theatre. The staff was very accommodating and the food was delivered promptly. Overall a very good experience.

Beet salad was delicious and the views amazing. Outdoor patio with heaters.

Parking is horrible.
Nothing near restaurant.
Server not very attentive.
No time for coffee by the time we got his attention and asked for the bill.
Salads lunches came 5 min before hot lunch so 2 of us waited until 3rd got his meal, very awkward.

We haven't been for a while but were so happy we went back! They are always so friendly and the food is always delicious. Thanks Big Ridge for maintaining your great level of service and quality!

We have been going here since day 1, but it's been awhile & I have to say we were super disappointed. The restaurant seemed unclean. The washrooms had items that needed repairing. The food portions were smaller than previously and seemed flavourless. Plus the beer was mediocre. It will be a long time before I return here. So sad.

Give this place a try you will love it. They have a pub side and restaurant side. Restaurant side is family friendly

I'm never really disappointed when I dine at Big Ridge. Things are consistent in terms of food quality and service. Always a good choice in my mind.

Went for a quick dinner with a friend after work. Decided on steaks and an appetizer. Server didn't bring our waters, which we thought would be a no brainer. After asking twice the waters finally arrived. We had the calamari which was very good, and served quickly. The rib eye steaks came they were both cold, about 3/8" thick, and were tough and filled with gristle. For a AAA beef steak that was $30 they were horrible!

Value for the money very disappointing, service unfortunately was not good either. Have been many times to this restaurant, and noticed a decline in food quality and service.

Won't be coming back again.

I have had the same waitress twice now. She is great. Friendly and efficient.

I made a reservation through open table and checked in giving my name and that the reservation was made through open table. That was yesterday. This morning I received an email that the restaurant had cancelled my reservation. I contacted Open Table and they corrected this.

Amazing take on Chinese food!! Wok fried squid is done perfectly!!

would come more often but noise level just too loud for intimate conversation - eat early for a quieter meal and more personal conversation. This trend to very loud noisy background somewhat confusing but now common in many restaurants which offer good food and beverages which should encourage patrons to stay longer.

Met a friend for dinner this week. We found out the rice bowls were on special that day, I ordered the chicken/shrimp in black bean sauce and my friend ordered the ginger beef and they were great.

We had tickets to the VSO and let our server know we needed to be out in an hour and she really stepped it up for us. Overall exceeded our expectations for a fast dinner on a random Wednesday.

I normally order a wok dish but today I tried the SouthWest Chicken Salad. When the salad arrived it was very small and hardly had anything in it. If I’m paying $16.99 for a salad I expect it to be huge and full of good quality ingredients. By comparison my friend had a chicken chow Mein dish that was triple the size of my salad and cost less. I was very disappointed with both the flavour and value of my meal.

Was just Okay. Have been a few times. Food didn't seem as good as a year ago. It was very cold in there. The air was blasting down from the ceiling. It's November, so that's not really a person wants at this time of year.

Good over all

My 6 year old boy’s birthday with family. He saw someone else having a birthday here a few weeks ago. The servers sang happy birthday to them and blew off a confetti cannon! Soooo. He decided he wanted his birthday here. I made a reso on open table noting it was my 6 year old son’s birthday. Staff forgot about his birthday. So, during dessert I asked the staff if they did something special and they said yes. They were very nice and said they would be right over. A staff member then came over quietly, about 5 feet behind my son and set off the confetti cannon. But no song or happy birthday. (He didn’t say a thing) It was kinda weird. Poor kid. Can’t get that night back. He was so excited about tonight and this was a let down. I will say that the food was good. Not sure my son cared though. 😔

The address on Google and Open Table lists this restaurant at 5680 and it is actually 5580 - this led us to drive around for Ab extra 15 mins to get to the location due to busy streets and meridians you could not get across. This was very frustrating.

Service was good but the food is horrible. Go somewhere else!!

The ambiance was great. Wouldn't go there on a date as it's not as much as a romantic setting than it is a family/casual setting. Food is really good, comes out fast, and the servers are always really nice.

Wed night Wok special offered added value, microbrewery offered some great drink options. Had to remind server of a special occasion but they provided a free dessert highlighted with confetti shot in the air.

My moms birthday

Not very busy for a holiday Friday which worked great for conversation. Great service and everyone enjoyed their food. My son enjoyed his birthday dessert and the paper shower😺

Lovely evening with good food & good friends. We were lucky enough to pick the Asian night and enjoyed our dinners thoroughly.

Went for Valentine's Day. Service was outstanding and the menu had so many great options it was truly hard to decide, so now we'll have to go back soon :)

Despite reserving for a special occasion that information either did not make it to the server or they do not recognize events and nothing was said about it. Due to construction near the restaurant parking is extremely limited. Gain extra value with their Wok Wed special.
