We came to the bistro on Friday night to listen to Cassie House.
Where she was set up we could not see or hear her.
We were seated at the first four top near the doors to the patio.
Please consider moving a solo performer like Cassie, who is soft in delivery,
to a more open location.
Waitress was so sweet! And attentive. The wait was just far too long. We were there for an 11am breakfast/lunch on a holiday. There were very few other parties there and yet we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated (we had a reservation). Then was the wait for drinks, our order to be taken and finally to get our lunch. I can only imagine what it would have been like if the venue was crowded.
The food was delicious again ! The service was great ! Alana was very friendly and always checked on us and kept our glasses full
It was a perfect Birthday Valentine's Day supper! our waiter was attentive, courteous and anticipated every need to make it a memorable evening!
Great food, great service always
Restaurant decided to revise their policy on the spot. We were 8 people, all with $20 coupons. Both the front desk manager, hostess, and waiter believed all 8 certs could be used as they were not clipped coupons, but certificates. The manager made the decision that only 2 could be used due to a "promotional night". We walked and ate at the Birchwood of Polishtown 10 mins away. Meal was terrific. Spent $400. Bistro missed out.
Bistro 72 is one of our “ go to” restaurants. The service and food is always outstanding. I am already looking forward to our next visit!
This was our first time dining at Bistro 72, we had excellent service food was delicious wine was great very good value we went during rest.wknwe will definitely go back!!
Very loud, hard to hear family at table. Waiter not proactive trying to replace empty drinks. Out of a dessert on menu and didnt have anything to replace it with.
Food was excellent!! Service great. The only complaint I would have is it was a little chilly.....
Perfect location right off the expressway - very clean, great service and great food!
Bistro 72 is a steady, convenient, well located place for dinner or to meet friends. The good? Creative dishes, old Staples, decent quality, reasonable prices all in a nice atmosphere that spills out to a pool area and summer… The bad? While the servers themselves are always professional, the place needs an air traffic controller to figure out who’s covering what table… Management’s inability to figure out the floor plan shouldn’t mean that I have to wait forever for a service. Overall, not a bad spot.
Really sad- this place was great and now with a new executive chef it was actually awful. Soup that tasted like vinegar and salad you could not eat. We were served a bread basket that was from a different table and ripped up! Not going back anytime soon - hope something changes here quick.
This is one of our regular dining spots and we consider the food to be among the best on Long Island. This time it was an early (7pm) New Years Eve dinner and the prix fixe menu was well designed and good value. Foos and service were great. The ambience in the Bar area was good, buy but not over noisy and they had an excellent pianist playing throughout dinner
We went for the 3 course New Year's Eve dinner. The rack of lamb was cooked to perfection and the seafood linguine was wonderful. It had shrimp, clams and the best scallops; each was cooked perfectly. The bistro salad, onion soup and desserts were all wonderful. This is a hidden gem in a hotel. Additionally, they have a terrific happy hour. The food is locally sourced which is a plus.
It was a holiday, Christmas dinner. Pretty atmosphere. Food was good. Service was exceptionally slow, over 2.5 hours for a three course meal for four people. Servers were kind and our cappuccino was comped due to long wait for food.
Little off last night with the service. Waitress was very nice, but somewhat inattentive. Very unusual for here. Would not stop me from going back. Just an off night I guess. We all have them.
Excellent service. Filet Mignon best I have ever had eating out!
I have recommended Bistro 72 several times since going there this week. I was very pleasantly surprised, and I consider this a hidden gem.
The food was delicious.
Seems like the menu is less varied than in previous years. Great service. Perfect for cocktails and informal meals. The breakfast buffet is very small. Unless you love bacon and sausage and eggs from a carton, order breakfast from the menu.
Enjoyed a Sunday night meal with another couple.
The service was attentive.
The food was fresh and cooked perfectly.
Good vibe and very cordial staff.
I will be back!
The food was delicious and the service was impeccable.
The service was great - the food was really good. My husband has salt issues and great care was given by the kitchen respecting that. Very happy that we selected Bistro 72 for Restaurant Week!
We love going here. We always have a great dinner, service is very good, never feel rushed. Love when they have music because its not too loud you can still have a conversation. Every time we bring someone knew they love it too.
Not what I anticipated, food was sort of bland, all of us ordered 4 petite filet mignons, steak was tender and cooked perfectly however they were missing that "steak flavor". Probably not a good grade. Vegitables were ok, but salty. Mashed potatoes also had a funny taste, not fresh. I will most likely not return to dine, bar atmosphere was nice, and they had a guy singing and strumming a guitar, who was very talented.
Dinner was delicious and we enjoyed the music.
Awesome. Delicious local food artfully served.
Calamari was excellent. Rack of lamb cooked perfectly rare as ordered. Duck breast cooked perfectly as well. Fried pickles, hummus plate, tuna tower...very tasty!!
Food was good although pricey. Portion sizes were fair. We sat outdoors which is very nicely decorated and grounds are kept clean. Live music which was an added bonus. Food did take too long to serve from the time ordered(over 1 hour). We had 8 people in our party. 18% Gratuity was automatically added to our bill; maybe because we had over a certain number of people. Overall good place to dine.
The restaurant and patio was very busy and there was not enough waiters & bussers to take care of the guests. It was very frustrating if you needed a water refill, salt, ketchup, an extra napkin ....
The cooks in the back did not cook our entrees the way we ordered - no excuse since the waitress clearly wrote how we ordered our food. The whole meal was sent back and it had to re-done which was inconvenient. We were there on a Thursday night ... it wasn't even the weekend. The tables around us had the same experience.
The food was FANTASTIC The wait staff was GREAT WELL PRICED.
BUT the ambience is really lacking , It really needs to be brightened up (DINGY) is the word that comes to mind.
It doesn’t fit the brightness of the food and staff .👨🏻🍳👩🏻🍳
Food was good, nice menu. My boyfriend and I ordered steaks for dinner, both were over cooked. That was disappointing. The service was absolutely horrendous. After the waiter took our order, we never saw him again.
We have been here a few times and every time we go we are always impressed! The food is great and we love the outdoor eating area.
Server was great food was OK but for the price we paid I wanted a lot more. Espresso martini was one of the worst I ever had but the pear martini was amazing! Music was one of the best parts and the fire places / ambiance are what really made it worth while for us.
Always a great meal
Our waitress made our dinner great. Ver accommodating and so sweet. Plus the food was good too lol
Everything was good. We had lunch and it was quiet so we able to talk at a normal volume.
Service was friendly and helpful! Food was delicious!
Price fix dinner was very good value, nice choices and very tasty. Husband had risotto and scallops from regular menu and they were excellent. They had a Rose wine event which was very nice. Free wine tastings of two different Rose wines and a few gifts from purveyors. We got hats! Some people got towels or tee shirts. Also had entertainment with a jazz band. They were very good. We ate outside which was very nice.
Our only complaint was how long it took to get a glass of wine from the bar. Practically finished meal by the time glass arrived from the bar, especially with wine producers pouring samples of the Rose we ordered right next to us?
