The bbq chopped salad was super! Kerry was a super waitress.
Nice experience except for the patron in the booth next to us talking on her speaker phone.
Lunch is good but dinner is expensive for what you get. Cold Broccoli and dry a filet that was all grissel😣. Won’t come for dinner again.
Our waitress, Clarice was very off-putting and rude. She seemed like she was upset about something and judgmental toward my boyfriend & I.
At the last second before she was finished taking our order, I remembered we had wanted to order lobster tails. I had asked that we add on lobster tails to each of our order, for a total of 4 lobster tails as each order comes with 2 tails. In response she snarkily commented “they’re $19 each”. I completely understand making the customer aware of the price as some customers might be surprised or upset if not explicitly stated. I tried to think nothing of it and responded with “yes, we both want lobster tails”. When the food came, she brought us one order of lobster tails and said something like, “they’re actually $20 for two”. Again, I understand trying to appease and understand the customers, but instead of assuming we were on a tight spending budget, she should have double checked with us to make sure we received what we had ordered.
In addition to this, there were several occasions that she either responded “mhm” with an attitude or would simply not respond to statements and thanks that we made. She was just very unfriendly and disengaging.
I understand that impressions aren’t always purposeful or meaningful and don’t want her to be reprimanded for her behaviors. My goal is simply to make the restaurant and her aware of her behaviors, as I know it might just have been a bad day/night for her. Working on how you are perceived by customers is important and I hope she can learn from our experience with her, rather than feel as if we are attacking or judging her.
We enjoyed our afternoon. The food was good, service was ok and it was nice and quiet for visiting.
I did have a reoccurring problem that I sure wish they would fix. Even though I had a reservation, I still had to wait. This is just not right. I expect to be seated right away when I come in with a reservation.
Had an appointment and still needed to wait for a table. Appetizer plates were dirty and the main course took a while to come out. My salmon was over cooked, but the rest of the tables meals seemed fine. Normally a great night out to Black Angus but this one was below average.
Everything was great. The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. the service was outstanding our server Davin went out of his way to give exceptional service.
Our food was pretty good. I had the teriyaki steak and my husband the salmon. However, our biggest complaint was the fact that we had to wait 10 minutes with a reservation, when the restaurant was only half full and our waiter, though professional enough, did not come back to check on us after somebody else delivered our food. I had asked for additional teriyaki sauce from the person who delivered and never received it. Our waiter finally came back to see if everything was OK as I was taking my last bite .
We love Black Angus but our server, Colette, was the worst server/service in all our visits. She was not at all friendly. We waited far too long for our drinks and when she brought them she slammed them on the table passing by. My friend asked for extra butter twice before it arrived and by then didn't need it. All in all it was a disappointing experience but I know she is the exception and we will be back.
Way over booked took over an hour to sit even with a reswevation.
it was pretty good although we did have to wait 20 minutes for our table i can say that the food was definitely worth the wait so it was overall a good time. i’ll definitely be coming back here
Waiter, sorry I can’t remember his name, but he was very fast, helpful, and entertaining. My ribeye was perfect but my green beans were under cooked and I’m not sure if my brussells sprouts were cooked the way they were supposed to be. Otherwise, the booth was nice and private and provided a quiet area during a busy night for the restaurant.
My wifes steak had to be sent back since it was over cooked. The brussel sprouts were were under cooked. they didnt have enough people running food, so our baked potatoes were cold.
It was a busy Valentine's day and we were seated right away. The food and service was good, and had no complaints overall. This is always a favorite for me and my Wife

Would normally say yes, but this time food was Luke warm and super slow to receive our meal.

We had an unusually long wait for our food to be delivered - we sat for almost 45 minutes. Normally this restaurant is excellent for getting food to your table. The manager did apologize and comp'd us 2 desserts to make up for the delay. We will still go back as this is one of our favorite restaurants.
First we arrived 15 minutes early, and were seated 5 minutes after our time even though the restaurant was not crowded. We had reservations for 4 and passed 13 empty tables with settings for 4 and was placed in a booth with a setting for 2. The seater had to get us additional table settings. Our server had a very bad attitude, and really treated us like she could care less if we were there or not. She didn't refill our waters or coffee and barely came to ask us about the meal. She got part of my order wrong and told me that she would get the correct item soon. She never came back to the table with it. She was not friendly or engaging. She was just a woman with a notepad that didn't want to be at work that day. The food was very good, and the coupon made it extra special. I was celebrating my 60th birthday. Good thing my joy was not dependent on the seater or the server, I would have had a bad day too. There was one particular gentleman that was serving the table close to mine. He explained the coupons, how to make combinations, and all the food choices to the 2 couples at his station. He treated them like friends. I wanted to give him the tip I didn't give to my server. We concluded that something was very wrong in her life that day and we were just going to leave her alone. Which really didn't matter because she rarely came to the table anyway. I thought we received a good portion of food, and the appetizers were great. We had lots left over to take home.

We came for my husbands birthday, and the experience was subpar. My husband steak wasn’t the correct cut, my mother’s steak was completely over cooked, and the steaks were cold. I don’t feel that we were checked on enough, and the server gave us attitude. We were disappointed because we had heard such good thing from others.
The food was absolutely delicious. There was hardly anybody in the restaurant. The only thing that could’ve been better was when we got to the reception area, I told them that I made a reservation, and the receptionist said that it would be about 15 minutes. We arrived right at the time of the reservation. I feel they should have seated us right away. We ended up sitting in the bar rather than waiting 15 minutes. Everything else besides that was great.
When they get your steak cooked correctly it's a good place to eat. Most of the time, however, we send it back underdone.
Food was delicious, however the wait when you make a reservation is uncalled for. 15 minutes past time and there were plenty of tables open.
Always a great meal and service whenever we visit this Black Angus. Kudos to our server David who guided us through the menu with our friends who hadn't been there in a while.
Food was cold and took a long time to get order. Server was not friendly, nearly dropping plates on table as she walked by. Totally disappointed. Went there for Anniversary dinner. Would probably not ever go back
The restaurant has been remodeled fairly recently and gone are the dark cubicles in favor of a more open atmosphere which is nice. Or you can eat in the bar area which has lots of tables and booths and is open seating with plenty of TVs to watch whatever game is currently playing. When the dinner for two is on special, it's the best deal on the menu with a four-course meal including appetizer and dessert for around $49.00. The entrees to choose from are plentiful with several steaks, chicken or a full rack of ribs. I had the 12oz New York on my last visit and the cut may not be the best quality, the flavor of the meat is amazing. I don't know how they flavor the steaks but I hope they never stop. I would say the biggest downside falls to the service. They must be trained to turn tables as fast as they can because they won't leave you alone until you make your order, even in the bar. Once the order is made, you may not see them again for a while, so make sure you get anything you need sooner rather than later. I do recommend Black Angus; for the few downsides, the food is good, the drinks are reasonably priced and potent, and the atmosphere is enjoyable.

3 people at the desk not one looked up to greet. Took a long time to be seated even with the reservation. Took probably 20 minutes to receive drinks. Appetizer came out with dinner?? Waitress never checked on us. Was given a free dessert due to the wait. But we signed up for their dining club and would have received dessert anyway. Food was mediocre at best. Overall terrible and we won’t be returning.
We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table for no apparent reason. That was kind of stressful given I was on my lunch break. . Otherwise the meal was good and the waitress great.
We we celebrating a birthday and the host and waitress greeted us with a "happy birthday". I had the trio and the shrimp and lobster were very good. The salad could have been a little fresher. I took my filet mignon home and eating it today. We definitely will return for more meals. It was a great birthday celebration!

I will never trust Open Table again. The system totally overbooked and we never got to be seated. We showed up an hour early and asked if we could get in early. The hostess told us it would be "a few minutes"... After waiting a full hour, we were STILL not seated and were not even given an estimate of when we could expect to be seated.
The system screwed up, but we should not have been told it would be "a few minutes" when that was not the truth. I love the food here and wanted to bring two of my adult children to celebrate my son's birthday. Unfortunately they now have a terrible experience with this place and your system.
Sadly, I can no longer recommend Black Angus. It has been a go-to for years. But I think it is going downhill. I highly doubt we'll be back.
We were there twice in Dec. Madison and Molly were above 5 stars. Tell the guys wearing the suits dont lose those two !!
Great steak and all the sides. The salmon was a bit overcooked. The service wasn't great. First, we reserved in the bar (which we have done several times), but the hostess told me it was open seating and no reservations accepted. Second, the waitstaff was pretty slow. I think they were understaffed for New Years Eve. Nothing was horrible. Black Angus is our go to neighborhood place. We'll be back.
Our dinning experience was outstanding. Our wait for seating was minimal after our reservation time. Considering it was New Years eve, I expected a longer wait. Our server was excellent. She was very attentive . The food was perfectly prepared. My family enjoys dinning there. We dine there every New Years and birthdays. And never been disappointed even if something was not right, it was always corrected beyond our satisfaction. Thank you for your excellent service,
