The waitress was amazing. The did looked nothing like the picture. It looked quite dismal, but the taste was great. My daughters loved the ribs and i liked the salmon.
My husband and I visit frequently, we always have a decent meal with pleasant service. We usually come in with the campfire feast for 2 coupon, always is a great value for the money.
There is a good reason why this steak house is still around after all these years. If you're in the mood for steak, just come to this Black Angus. They're very consistent with the quality of their steak. Fads come and go, but good ole steaks are here to stay. Our server tonight was fantastic, but you don't always get great service. Good service, yes. Most of the time, it wasn't their fault. There were just too many tables for them to cover. At least, their food is awesome.
There was an issue with a person near us who got loud and rude with another guest, but the manager came over and handled it very gracefully. The rest of the experience was very nice.
Black Angus is one of our favorite restaurants. Our last visit, as usual, was very enjoyable. The service was excellent. The waitress was prompt, had excellent timing, and made a couple of good suggestions. The food was very good as usual. We like the Campfire Feast for Two specials and get the appetizer, entree, two sides, and a choice from a bunch of delicious desserts. We had an enjoyable dinner and will be back.
Birthday for my daughter
Reservations were easy to make. Service was great we were seated promptly. Our server Debra was very attentive and pleasant. I highly recommend this place for lunch especially for those who work nearby.
Celebrated another of my family’s birthdays here! Wish they had a rewards system with how often we go but I do revive coupons which we always use. This location gets busy when we go but all of our servers have been helpful and answered our questions. For the price compared to other places it just right. Their portions are pretty large so we occasionally share one entree or take the rest home. I always get Top Sirloin, Mac & Cheese(sometimes the rice pilaf) with Broccoli as sides, the Wheelhouse sampler and finish it off with Mountain Mud High or a cowboy cookie with vanilla.
Haven't been in a long time as it isn't local to us. Had the delicious cheesy bread with salad, I had c delicious salmon, husband had prime rib. Cheesecake for dessert. All was delicious. Our waitresses attentive. We will definitely return!
Prior to arriving, made a reservation on OpenTable. It was Friday night so calling, or rather, reserving online is imperative.
Calling in and putting your name down takes a back seat to reserving online.
We peaked our head in the bar area to see if anything was open but there wasn’t. Good thing the wait time wasn’t long.
Any older gentleman with a shirt and tie, glasses, clearly was in charge. It appeared that some of the servers didn’t care for his demanding ways.
It was busy so they might have been on edge.
We’ve eaten at the location several times and keep coming back because of the great value.
Customer service is hit or miss though.
Fantastic experience great service
Go to place when I want Surf and Turf. Staff always friendly never forgotten even when they are busy. Wait time never a problem, I always use Open Table when I get there it is waiting for me.
My dining experience was not bad, but also not good. The table was not properly cleaned and the food was mediocre. I do love their crispy zucchini appetizers and dessert options.
It felt like we were pretty much abandoned in a corner close to the bar. Server had a table of at least 15 guests and was really busy.
The city of Buena Park, there is a Black Angus up there on Beach Blvd. The location is close to Knott’s Berry Farm. There, you feel a warm welcome. Northridge seemed not to care at all. I

Potatoes were hot. Even the mud pie was not "FROZEN" Was very soft.

The new 'thin ribeye' steak that's been served for over a year now makes wait time shorter but it's not a real ribeye. Also the "Campfire Feast' is great with coupon but wait staff shouldn't load up your table with the main courses until appetizers and salads are finished. Makes an otherwise great experience seem cheap and rushed.

We made a reservation for 7:00 pm on 2/15/2020. We arrived just about 6:55 pm and checked in and they told me it will just take a couple of minutes. We waited and waited and I actually asked a couple of times if they have call my name and they said no. We got a little bit frustrated due to the fact that they kept calling names except mine. My husband asked for the third time and this was bout 1:30 minutes after we arrive. They answer was that someone else took our name which it was a lie because we were right at the front and no one call my name. I gave three stars because the food was great and our waiter was awesome.
We had a coupon for a free lobster tail with the purchase of any steak dinner. When I asked the waitress the size of the lobster she said 4 oz. we ordered the rib eye steak medium. It came out more like medium rare and the lobster tail was a joke. Seriously it was the size of 2 inches. 2 small bites. Also the drinks were just ok. I had a cosmo and called out my vodka so the drink was $10.50 it was ok but didn’t even feel it and normally I would with a good cosmo.
They did sit us pretty quickly and I was glad we made reservations because the wait was over an hour without them.

Made reservation thought open table, upon arrival I was told I would have to wait for 20 min more. I asked why? And I let them know I had reservation through open table I was told open table made multiple reservation for that time slot and the establishment have no control over it. So what's the point of making reservations at all...
Ordered the 1.5 pound Cowboy Cut Steak. Good Steak but Way too much Fat on it.

Only complaint was that I still had to wait 30 minutes with a reservation.
With reservation was told 30 min wait on Valentines Day. Shouldn’t have to wait more than 10 min with reservation. Overall experience okay.

My husband and I went here for Valentine’s Day . We made a reservation for 5:30 and were sat right away . The service was amazing , especially for such a busy day . The food was great too ! Will definitely be returning

We always enjoy the food and Diane, our server really makes the meal. She is smart, sharp, friendly and goes overboard. When our food is served she is right there and if something is wrong she is on it immediately.
