Black Angus Steakhouse - Puyallup

Food and service were outstanding. I was seated next to the heater blower and had way to much heat blowing across my feet making them way to hot. I would recommend repositioning the table so the heat doesn't make someone uncomfortable. Other than that everything was great

We thought it was very good considering we were eating in a tent in a parking lot.

Loved it. The tent was a little cold when the night breeze picked up, so dress warm if you're going during Covid lockdown (particularly feet). It was so nice getting a restaurant dinner. The food couldn't have been better.

Considering the circumstances of being in a pandemic. Black Angus did a nice job of outdoor dining in the winter! Service was great! Thank you to our server and team for being attentive and making efforts to make us comfortable outside!

We had a wonderful evening with friends celebrating a birthday. The heated tent was perfect, our waitress was wonderful, and the food, as always at Black Angus, was warm and delicious. I can't wait to go again!

Experienced the outside tent dining Black Angus is now doing and our family of 3 had a wonderful time. It was warm inside the tent and well lit, with nice white Christmas like lights around the inside of the tent. Spacing of tables was great and food was served hot. We enjoyed the new Wrangler menu available Monday through Thursday. I had the Crispy Shrimp for 15.99 and daughter & husband both had the Filet Medallions for 19.99. Great food & service & wonderful night out. Can’t wait too return.

Our server was not friendly at all. We had to ask for refills. The food looked as if it had been sitting in the window for a long time. Broccoli shriveled on the plate. When we asked for our dessert to go, we got a half raw cowboy cookie that had been sitting on its side, so it only filled half of the pan it came in, and the ice cream was in a small salad dressing cup. $80 for dinner including tip was very disappointing. We try to help support restaurants, but after this meal, we will stick to staying at home and cooking our own meals. So much for date night.

Our indoor Thanksgiving reservation was moved outdoors due to Covid, and we did not mind a bit. We were seated outdoors in an enclosed area with portable heating. We didn’t even mind paying a higher price due to Covid...had our food quality reflected it. The shrimp cocktail and bread were excellent. My two companions ordered a rib eye, and both were extremely fatty. My NY strip was okay but I was disappointed that we were offered a loaded baked potato for our side, it was also listed as a side, but we were charged an extra $3 each. The garden salad was an over dressed, soggy, generic salad and the $7 poppyseed lemon cake was stale. Total for three people with tip was $180. Disappointed in the food but thankful for the family time.

We had a reservation and were seated within 5 mins of arriving. Service was great food was delicious. Our waitress was wonderful. All of the COVID protocols were in place and followed.

The Filet Mignon was extremely fatty. Ive always had no fat with my filets. Had to pay 8$ extra above the campfire feast price. My wife’s New York was overcooked.

Our party of 3 all had the steak, lobster and shrimp trio and it was great. We were a bit surprised that the loaded baked potatoes have now been moved to the premium side and is a 1.99 extra charge now. We didn’t even realize this and got charged extra. It was clear on the menu but we were just in a few weeks prior and this was not the case, so we didn’t think too check the menu for changes. I can restaurants need price changes too cover Covid expenses though.

We always ask for the same server, Holly, because she is so good at her job and very friendly. Steak was excellent, and salmon was properly cooked. Cheesy bread is my favorite. Baked potato was a tad underdone, but I like it almost mashed. Every item was hot/warm and tasted very good.

The restaurant manager was very rude and told my party that we had to leave because there are other people waiting on there reservation but they only asked us to leave and not anyone else. I was celebrating with my fiancée, my made of honor and best man. We were having a great time, even helped clean up our table, stacking our dishes, cleaning our table to make it easier on the bussers. That's called respect and how we were raised. We were having a great time, talking about the wedding, going over plans and then we were told we had to leave. Very rude, disrespectful and not to mention that we are minorities which I never used that in a situation until that day. Thanks to the manager he ruined Amber (the server) tip because he didn't show compassion. Amber was wonderful but I would really watch out for the manager. If my husband was dressed in his police officer uniform I bet we wouldn't had been treated like that. Watch how you treat people because at the end it will come back on you.

The best Black Angus is the Lakewood location. The management, the servers, bussers and even the hard working people in the kitchen showed love and respect. Take a lesson from them. You will never get our service again.

Didn't meet my expectations. Salmon was too oily, steak abit tough.

They tried to seat us right next to the restroom which had a direct draft from the entry doors opening and closing. Our 6 year old was served jerky for his steak. My steak was underdone, then it was burnt on the outside when it came back. Everything was just okay for a $200+ meal. Normally, we've had better experiences here.

Enjoyed the Lobster steak & shrimp special again. We upgraded to the top sirloin steak. This turns the 21.99 deal into a 30.99 dinner, so beware it is 9.00 more too upgrade the steak. Our server was a little slow tonight, but I’m not holding it against the restaurant as everything else was so perfect.

The food was outstanding. We shared the Campfire feast for 2. Both of our steaks were cooked exactly as we requested and we are in love with the au gratin potatoes! Our server was the best waiter we have ever had when dining out anywhere. He kept our wine glass filled and our water glasses full. He checked by often to ensure we had everything we needed. The whole experience was great and we will definitely be returning to dine here again.

The food was too greasy, cold and not good. My steak was not cooked as requested. The service was poor and they were so rude. We felt pressured to ordered.

Worst experience ever at Black angus, service was slow, room was very cold {we ate with our coats on) food was just OK, not great like it should be for the price.

Black Angus, Puyallup WA location, is our FAVORITE place to eat. My BF is a meat and potatoes person. I always have selections to choose from, even if I am dieting.

The 4 of us were looking forward to going back to the Black Angus after they opened up but to our disappointment the food was poor and the prices high. I don't know why prices keep going through the roof, but we will not be going there again; the value just isn't there any more. The steak and lobster was poor at best but the shrimp was OK. Overall a big bust for us trying to celebrate a birthday. No hard menu was also a big bust for us. Very disappointed.....

BlackAngus is always my go to. Food is always delicious and service is fantastic!

When I made the reservation it ask if you are celebrating an occasion I said my husband promotion. Nothing was said not even a congratulations when the bread was brought out why ask if Nothing is going to be done. :(

Miserable do not go here. Menu has changed and they gave no warning.
