    Spouse & I went to Black Angus for the Buffalo Trace Whiskey Experience. The dinner, which included jalapeno poppers, steak & shrimp with roasted carrots & cornbread, peach & blackberry cobbler à la mode, was really good. The bourbon pairings, Cucumber Smash, Gold Rush & Kentucky Candy were less successful for me. I liked the Cucumber Smash but the other two were entirely too sweet. We attended because bourbon is my go to spirit; spouse liked the cocktails a little bit more than I did. We would definitely attend another spirit driven experience since we enjoyed it overall.

    We were a party of 6 last night with so many different requests. The waitress, Suzanna, handled them all with such efficiency and had a smile every time she approached the table! What a treasure this establishment is to the community.

    This is one of our favorite places to dine because of the booths which provide privacy, the wonderful wait staff and the excellent quality of the food! Can't miss by choosing this place!

    Our waiter was excellent! I don’t remember his name. We ordered beer and wine and it took a bit too long to get. I ordered a 5oz filet and when it came he asked me to cut into it to make sure it was okay. It definitely wasn’t. He replaced it, and it was excellent! Everything we put in our mouths was really tasty. And the price for all the food we got was great! We’ll definitely return!

    Went in for lobster, but they were “out” of lobster. Ordered shrimp and a ribeye. The shrimp were sparse, and the ribeye was very rubbery, tough, THIN, and fatty. Most disappointing meal I’ve ever had at the restaurant.

    Everyone was responsive to our needs, and seemed to enjoy their work! The food was YUMMALISCIOUS, as usual. And, the Campfire Feast was an added savings and delight! I would definitely recommend this treasure of a dining place.
