BO-beau kitchen + garden
Always a great place. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is top notch. Gotta love the Doctors Orders!
My favorite spot to introduce guests to. Menu, service and overall ambience are fantastic. I have dined here several times and never been disappointed.
I had the marinated chicken with gnocchi and it was amazing!! Service as usual was great!
This is an amazing place to eat, but...if you get sat at the tables closest to the school bus, (aka children’s playground) and food handling station you can forget about any kind of nice ambiance.
This place is PERFECT for adults AND kids. The food is amazing, servers are amazing, and having that bus as a distraction so parents can get more than two bites before the kids need something is...PRICELESS.
Good food. Generous portions for leftovers.
Our waitress was great!! The food was only ok, especially considering the price. Also the Shrimp Flatbread was more like a Pizza with a few small pieces of Shrimp on it. Probably wouldn’t order it again.
Great for groups with kids, but the large booths box people in and are harder to work with families.
Another good meal at BO-beau. Very consistent quality and service
It took 3 hrs for our food to come out. They said they had a backup in the kitchen and gave us some complimentary desserts.
An extremely loud and boisterous private party in the loft area totally ruined the dining experience.
The food was overpriced and terrible.
We might go back for drinks because it is a beautiful restaurant but 4 out of 4 of us thought the food was just awful and the service intrusive.
Always great food and drink. Never disappointed.
Never disappointed at a Cohn restaurant and this one was better than ever! Giant portions of great food in a lovely setting...can’t top that!
The food was absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to return and try more of the menu.
Our first visit to Bo-beau was on Thanksgiving, so we had the prix-fixe menu. All of the options looked delicious; we chose the gem and pate de choux salads for appetizers, beef bourguignon and turkey for main course, and flourless chocolate cake and butterscotch pudding for dessert. Also ordered the "famous" brussels sprouts -- OMG they were amazing! All the food was great; the only thing I would change is to have more seasoning/flavor on the veg that accompanied the beef. And the decor is gorgeous. Kind of Medieval-meets-industrial. A little noisy, since the space is small. And the service was fantastic. All the staff were very pleasant, helpful and just the right amount of attention. I would definitely go back, and bring friends!
Lovely visit during Thanksgiving. Well crafted prix fixe.
One of the best spinach salads I've ever enjoyed.
Bo-beau fell far short for their Thanksgiving effort. Been bit of a slide for this place over the last year and this solidifies it for us. We won’t be back.
First time at this location and really enjoyed
Great date night!
Always wonderful!! Always!!!! It was a cold, rainy night...so we sat inside. Otherwise, we always choose the patio or bar area. Love this place!!!!
Always great burger and mussels. That is a win win all the time.
Wonderful “everything” except the small juice glass that they served my wine in. And the amount of wine was quite disappointing. If you are paying $14 for a glass of (Justin) wine, I expect 6oz in a decent wine glass.
We were seated promptly and the table service was excellent. The pork shank was fabulous, although the pancetta dish was quite tasty but way over-salted.
Tables are too close. I would enjoy more privacy, that also helps with the noise. I do get that you are trying to seat more people, but it does affect the ambiance.
BoBeau is always my go-to when going out to eat- love the food, cocktails and service is always exceptional!
However, we were sat next to rather loud party and it was difficult to hear my husband, let alone my own thoughts- we would’ve asked to be moved but it was quite crowded.
The food was AMAZING and would’ve kept eating and eating if we weren’t so full!
My favorite cocktail is the Leuve, which they always make for me even though it’s not on the menu.
We have been fans of Cohn restaurants for years, and especially BO-beau. Vey disappointed this visit (and the past couple visits). Brussels were good, as usual, but all other dishes (there were 6 of us) were mediocre, at best. New winter salad- very bitter, unseasoned. Chicken on the burrata salad tasted like the gas from the grill. Mussels were okay, but bread and frites were cold. 3 different employees came by during our brussels appetizer to check how everything was, but once we got our food, nobody came by to check for quite a while. Once someone did, we told them of the taste of the chicken, and winter salad being bitter and not edible. They offered to bring a house salad, but still charged for it, which is fine, but you would think that they would comp something. We didn't mention the cold bread and frites. We were okay without them. Overall, very sad and probably won't be going back. Such a bummer.
Way overpriced and on top of that they add the mandatory 4% which is BS. I run a business and don't add 4% just because I don't like paying a living wage to my employees. I really liked the Beyond Meat burger, but not for almost $20, especially when I know it is ordered, not made from scratch in kitchen. Ridiculous.
This is my third visit and every time I am blown away. The cocktails are outstanding, the food is SO good, and I have to have those Brussels sprouts every time I go!!!
I had been looking forward to trying BO-Beau and it did not disappoint. Enjoyed the pork belly flatbread and the beef bourgognon (sp?). Would definitely come back again.
I am a Celiac and so it is with excitement that I look forward to the many yummy Gluten Free options offered here!
We walked in with a positive attitude having been once before during restaurant week, so we knew the food was gonna be amazing. The manager sat us and had a host take us too our table, we were sitting for more than 5 mins without being greeted by a server and after watching servers all around us help tables. The host that sat us brought us some waters and then later after another 5 mins we still hadn’t been greeted.
The host then came back to see if someone took our drink orders and we then explained no one has come to greet us. Just then she takes our drink order, appetizer, and entres. Soon after I pulled the manager by and explained what was happening and expressed admiration for the helpful host. We requested that she be our server and tip go to here for her hard work.
!!!!!!!!! Read !!!!!!!!!!!!
I have worked in the restaurant business for a while and I am one not to complain but a manager and people got a right to know what happened. Will this experience deter me from going there again, HELL NO!!!! I loved the food, drinks, and atmosphere! Yes we had some rocky service at first but the host made up for it all with just here willingness to see something not right and taking the initiative to fix it.
P.S. The Fried Chicken and Salmon (very simple items) were SO amazing and probably the best items on their menu!!!! It was so delicious and left us absolutely satisfied.
Fish special was very salty, but the beef bourguignon was quite delicious. The service was excellent.
I would go to Bo-Beau again, however, this was a mixed experience. I will explain the issues first:
-Parking is a real challenge
-No disabled parking
-No passenger loading space
-Inital servicep was slow. Took 5+ minutes to even be acknowledged by the server
-Once seated, service was slow
On the flip side:
My food was delicious as was my companions.
I had the salmon. It was flavorful and well prepared. My companion had the catch of the day and thoroughly enjoyed the preparation. The other person at my table ordered the spicy shrimp flat bred. She was disappointed in not finding much shrimp, however, the restaurant remied this by bringing her a side dish full of shrimp.
When I requested a new table due to the kitchen door, we were moved with no problem. Our server was attentive but busy. Manager came and check on us several times.
Overall, as I started a mixed experience. Bottom line though: the food was great!
The food was delicious, but did not like the seating, too close to the other diners.
Great place, but only thing was I tried to use a Cohen gift card and it was not allowed. Bummer, I should of asked before ordering. Not the servers fault but they should have said something on the website.
Food was very good except for Brussels Sprouts. They were charred. I’ve had them at other Cohen restaurants & they were much better. I should’ve sent them back but we had 4 different servers & I couldn’t find the right one.
Our service person was great! She was very attentive and helpful with recommendations.
Very good food, went for Restaurant week. They had a good menu, esp for gluten free and/or vegetarian modifications.
The hostess that greeted us was very gracious and had no problem with having us sit outside instead of inside, which I requested when I made the reservations. When we saw the beautiful outdoor patio and the weather was great, that is where we wanted to dine. Our server, I forget her name, was excellent and treated our Mum special on her B’day. It was also nice to see the children enjoying the school bus from where we were sitting. Looking forward to coming again. Cheers, Sheila
Was a perfect place to celebrate a 40th birthday!!
