A great experience given COVID. Support the restaurant Industry

Very average food for the price. Has an amazing waterfront view so that makes up for the experience a little. Service is the level you usually get at a place like WhiteSpot.

Been there a few times and its never busy so you get to pick where to sit which is great. Would have expected better service and quality of food given the price point.

Server was friendly and professional, food was amazing!! Nice place for a special occasion :)

Pretty good food over all however, for a seafood specific restaurant i was expecting more seafood option!

The food was great but the restaurant Needs to be more clear on the pricing of there food in there menu.

Celebrated our 5th anniversary.
Michael our server was amazing, top notch, very attentive. Not an easy job, he was running around, but never skipped a beat.
Food was also amazing as usual. Loved our spot by the river.

Enjoyed a quiet dinner earlier this week. Food was excellent, our waiter was attentive, friendly, and courteous. I hope to see more people coming out to enjoy this New West landmark, support our local businesses.

There were no oysters. It was just a little disappointing

Their menu is not the greatest and didn’t have any specials for New Year’s Day. Years ago they’d have specials. Could have gone to the keg and had a much much better meal for the same amount we spent and yet we all left disappointed

After Henry Bonnie Put the restrictions on NYE everyone was so caught off guard . The manager Kelly approached us and she was so full of life ! Excellent customer service , funny lady . Her energy and vibes was perfect for the night

It took them 40 minutes to bring us dinner, and we didn´t feel good service in the way that a restaurant of that level should have, no very nice dish presentation too.

Service moderate..short of help. Seafood chowder and Caesar salad good. Veggies were very undercooked with prime rib dinner, although meat was good. Seafood grill ok..veggies severely undercooked. Some seafood somewhat mushy. Crème brûlée excellent. This restaurant generally a good place to eat. Followed Covid protocols. Ambience pleasant.

Went for dinner on New Years Eve after a disappointing visit last year. They redeemed themselves 100%. It had been our tradition the last 5 years and will continue in the future.

Great alternative to Christmas at home. Menu was nicely varied our choices were well prepared and very tasteful. Service was excellent and our waiter very pleasant and attentative.

The three course Christmas dinner was just amazing and tasty, great job by the chef. The atmosphere and our server Kathryn was excellent.

Nice setting. Due to Christmas there was a set menu. This wasn't clear while booking as with kids that can be an issue. The food was good but we have seen better value in other places.

I went to to Boathouse on Christmas Day for the 3-course turkey dinnner.
The turkey & mashed potatoes & gravy were delicious. You were only given
one teaspoon of stuffing which was very disappointing.
The appetizer of caesar salad was excellent.
The dessert of coffee ice cream was very good too!
I had a window seat and the social distancing was also excellent!

The service was excellent, you don’t feel rushed. The food came nice and hit, exquisitely cooked, so tasty. I had the lamb shank, hubby had the turkey dinner.
Cocktail drinks so refreshing and served in elegant glasses. They follow social distancing rules.

They had a set Christmas menu available only from 1600 - 2000 which was stated on their website. So I made a reservation for 1400, thinking other menu items were available at that time. They were not and due to my mother’s dietary restrictions, we decided to leave.

Not going back here ever again. We totally wasted our time.

Excellent food! Price a little high but the overall expecting worth.

The food was good overall. Some vegetables were to hard to eat. The meat was tender and flavorful. The service was excellent.

I would recommend this place for fine dining anytime.

A lovely treat for us from our relatives overseas, we enjoyed our dinner and our service very much. Very relaxing and we felt covid safe. Thank you to everyone.

We have a wonderful server. She’s pregnant with a sweet Covid baby and has 3 others at home. Felt bad she was working Christmas Eve. She was great

I felt safe bringing my Mom to your restaurant. We had a great time.

Restaurant was basically empty. Thought there might have been a few people. Food was average. Service was alright. Ambiance of the place is great as is the location.

Biggest concern was that no one told us they were closing at 8pm. We were offered last call 10 min before closing. Then at 9:40 we were asked to leave.

I would suggest better communication with customers.

Go Friday for the steak and crab special on I believe till the end of December!!

The three of us, my husband, son and I were at the New Westminster Boathouse to celebrate my husband's birthday. Both my husband and I had the ravioli w/prawns dinner, for the very first time, which we enjoyed immensely. Plus seafood chowder and desserts. My son only had the hamburger with fries. We have dined at this location many times. The meals, service and price are very good. On Christmas Day my husband had pre-ordered their six-course dinner for pick up.

Slow and inattentive service throughout the meal. Appetizer came out before our drinks.
Food was amazing. Coconut shrimp, 9oz steak, king crab legs, and side seasonal vegetables were all delicious.

Due to COVID restaurant was nearly empty so service was very fast and efficient.
Limited menu but they are willing to offer any dish you prefer from previous visits
if they have the ingredients on hand. Overall a very pleasant evening

We have been going to the Boathouse in New Westminster for close to 20 years. The food is outstanding. I always have the King Crab legs and they never disappoint. Up until the pandemic my son could always order the mussels as an appetizer even though they're technically not on the menu. The staff at this location is particularly well trained, with special attention to customer service.
