The food quality was poor. There was a live fly in our Caesar salad and this was not remedied in any way. Other dishes lacked in seasoning especially the calamari. One cocktail was sent back, also watered down. Typically, we have had positive experiences and no complaints but there were multiple let downs in our experience of the evening at PM Boathouse. In our Open Table reservation, I mentioned it was our anniversary and there was no mention of this at all.

Disappointed we made a reservation and got seated in a booth near the door - was cold. Seemed walk ins were getting better tables. Ended up

We took my Mom there to celebrate her 95th birthday and had a wonderful time. The view was beautiful. We felt safe with all the safety protocols in place due to Covid. The food was amazing and we are very picky. Our server, Emily, was so kind to my Mom and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant!!

My sisters and I go to the Boathouse regularly for the delicious food, ambiance, views, and excellent service. It never disappoints and this visit was no exception.

Our visit was an outstanding evening in every respect.

The lighting was too dark, food was good. Nothing outstanding.

lovely view of the water and the heaters and fireplace gave the covered/indoor patio a cozy feel - while menu is smaller and service staff in short supply, no issues with choosing a great brunch and service was friendly and efficient.

While the food was okay, the service was pretty disappointing. We waited 15 minutes before receiving our drink orders. Food was slow to arrive and we were not asked about refills on our drinks until we were finished our meals. Taste check was barely done as we were finishing. Now, I get covid has changed a lot, but it didn’t appear particularly busy and we felt really let down that one of our very few nights out was marred by poor service. The server was nice enough and brought me a piece of cake for my birthday which was complimentary. So... acceptable but don’t go with high expectations. For the prices, I expect more.

For only 3 tables with guests our service was almost non existent. Went for my Birthday. Food was good but portion ratio to price could be better value. Was disappointed in the lack of service. Our drinks went dry and no offer to order more. Had to ask for water at the end for my daughter to get her food down after she took my glass from me. A bit disappointed I wasted a Birthday to dobe here. The whole experience just wasn't there. Won't be back.

Two out of four diners got sick after eating here.

The food was delicious and was delivered to our table in a timely manner. The timing of the service was slow though. That would be the only suggestion I would give is to make sure that once a drink order is taken, and drinks are delivered, that the server returns to the table faster to take our order.

Had a lovely New Year's dinner at the Port Moody Boathouse. They take Covid precautions seriously and we had a flawless meal. A real favourite.

This was the best experience we have had in a long time at any restaurant. We came for New Years Eve and everything was perfect. The manager (Derek?) went above and beyond by calling us more than once to discuss options around the PHO orders of alcohol orders after 8pm. He even called us to let us a know a table had opened up early if we wanted to come down to be able to order a drink, definitely above and beyond service. The food was incredible and the service was phenomenal. The Covid protocols were great and I felt very comfortable having my New Years Eve dinner out in public. Thank you Boathouse for bringing some normalcy to the end what has been a very abnormal year. I hope they continue to serve many customers and their business thrives in 2021!!

Loved the westcoast grill. Calamari too few and very deep fried, thick coating of batter. Very SD observed. Great service and beautiful view. Wine by the glass very limited selection.

Had the set menu. At 5:30 p.m. ordered the lamb shank. They came back 20 min. later and said they didn't have it. Ordered the steak and prawns. Had the seafood chowder for the appetizer. It was very good. The steak and prawns were very good. The desert was mocha pie. They ran out. Had the raspberry cheesecake. It was ok. I wouldn't order it again. Service was a bit scrambly. I could see they were short staffed. I enjoyed the evening but it could have been better.

It was pretty for Christmas the food was very good.
The service was terrible, literally banging the dishes on to the table,
major attitude (not good) and didn't come to check on us. Guess
she was having a bad day!

Friend has seafood chowder. He has been sick since. Coconut prawns were burnt. Very unappealing.
