Great food ,drinks , service and very cheerful staff .

Excellent food. Had their “old” Nachos and deep fried tacos along with a Margarita! Spacing between tables excellent for safe dining. Quiet so you can easily visit. Service was great along with the friendly staff. It was very comfortable and the atmosphere was nice with the fireplace going. We had a reservation.

Boca Chica is the best Mexican restaurant in the Twin Cities. I have been going there for 35 years.

We were so glad they were able to re-open. We missed them!!

The staff is always friendly and the food is great!

Service was terrible; drinks were watered down and they were out of a number of menu items. Rather than tell us they were out of a certain soup or salad that comes with the entree, we had to ask for the soup or salad only to be told they were out and no substitutions were available - after we received the entree. The reason we ordered the entree rather than ala carte was for the Sopa de Fideo. Service was terrible - we won't be back.

We felt safe... they ALL the wait staff did a nice job working together to make us feel safe during social distancing.

Our go to Mexican restaurant .

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant and I’ve been to quite a few.

It was a great experience! Social distancing was great. It was quiet for visiting. The food was great. 5 stars for the whole experience.

My first time here and I Loved it! Enjoyed the art work and the chicken fajitas

They did a outstanding job with social distancing in the restaurant, it shows they really care for their customers. There is a nice ambiance throughout the dining room... I felt the food was blan and needed to be flavored more, but it was fresh, very nicely prepared and presented. Our waiter was conscientious, accomidating and friendly...I would recommend this place based on overall experience...but I definitely prefer more flavor in my food and feel they should consider adding a few more spices to their cooking.

Boca chica has very good food and service. An old reliable in St. Paul.

I have never been disappointed in Boca Chica Restaurant over the past 25 years. Tio Steve's Nachos with beef is by far, the best in town!

Overall I love Boca Chica. It is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Twin Cities. We had great service.
However, on this visit the frijoles refritos were very salty There is really no need to add ANY salt to frijoles.

Also, made a reservation online and mentioned it was a birthday lunch. Again mentioned it to the greeter and I even asked what birthday treat they could bring to the table. She said “ a sundae”. Well, the server brought over the check and that was it! No sundae! No excuse for this!

All four of us enjoyed our meals immensely. Two in our party had never been to Boca Chica and they were very impressed with every aspect of our lunch. Fantastic food, drink, and service!

We had a very good dinner with friends on the patio. Food and drinks were tasty and our service was great!

Food was good

The servers were wonderful and clearly taking thorough COVID precautions. We ate outside on the patio. Bottles of hand sanitizer were one each table (and replaced after each party). There was even an option to pay via your mobile which was quick and easy.
Beyond that, the staff was friendly and prompt. The food was AMAZING. The ambiance was very nice.
Kudos Boca Chica! We'll be back :)

Boca Chica is fabulous! We went there for our Anniversary, one of our fave restaurants. It was a perfect night on the patio. The food was super. We had enchiladas Suizas and tacos, w/ Poco Loco margaritas. The staff took great care to be risk free in these covid days, w/ touch-less menus & payment. It is the best Mexican food in the Twin Cities, in our opinion. A GREAT dining experience.

It was great! It was my first time there and I gotta say the food was awesome, our waitress was amazing, and the music was really fun. Would absolutely come back again!

The food is always fantastic, the drinks are delicious, but if you’re not sitting in the bar area the service is slow. It won’t keep me from going back, but it is something to note.

The food was delicious and our server was amazing! We went for an early dinner with the kids to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Our waitress made our visit very special. Tables are spread apart and we felt very comfortable during this crazy time!

Best Mexican in Midwest! I’ve loved this place for decades and it’s only gotten better.

The shrimp fajitas are amazing! Jumbo shrimp & green & red peppers grilled perfectly & very flavorful. Also, the service was great & tables were socially distanced with a bottle of hand sanitizer on each table.

Great patio, complete with heat lamps, which made my dinner nice and cozy on 9/10/20 when it was a bit chilly. Food was delicious and I felt very safe, as all employees wore masks and people were seated far enough apart.
