Bodega Spanish Tapas & Lounge
First time trying tapas we enjoyed all the options and food.
Open Table or Bodega booked too many reservations.
Around 7:30-8:30 pm, people were lined up at door with reservations.
Limited menu was not that good
Very slow service on a very busy night.
Very good. Would recommend. We’ll be back!
Celebrated birthday. Food & service was great. Our server was attentive & helpful. The all inclusive tapas deal was worth it. Good sangria too. Will come again.
Missed the bottomless drink options, but otherwise the food selection is fantastic as always!
The service was wonderful and the food was amazing!
Food and service was great!!! Perfect for a girls night out!
The restaurant had a great vibe and food was awesome!
We had a really friendly server, we went there for flamenco show which was sunday 1pm till 3pm, the food was ok, no what we expect and little overpriced for what we ate.
We weere group of 9 people, we got drinks which was really good drinks, dancer is amazing but we barely saw her from the table we had.
In general place is good but expensive, I would preffer to pay some for the show and be close to see the guitar person and dancer thought. Server was really good and friendly
Amazing, reasonably priced tapas. The paella is also delicious and service is extremely friendly. Very flexible with reservations.
The selection of tapas fulfills all tastes whether you are a couple or a group gathered to celebrate over great food and drink. First rate paellas are available, but one can make a meal of 2-3 tapas per person. Sangria is fruity as expected and cocktail choices add to a festive meal. The small dessert menu confirms that you will be stuffed from the tapas. Try the chicken croquetas and mushroom dishes. The scallops are only three so you may need to order a second plate. Don't ask for a bread basket if you order one of the bread tapas unless you plan to take it home.
Excellent, authentic Spanish-style tapas. Good value.
Food was ok , service not that good , we ordered couple of Dishes that we never get , service was to slow, I’ve been going to that restaurant several times and is not the first time that this happened, I’ll definitely think about it to go back
Awesome, as usual, the brunch special is well worth it
Food was very below just above taco bell. Drinks were ordinary. No music. Avoid if you are looking for a good evening
I went with my mom and it was a great experience. The food was authentic and the staff was very helpful.
Service was the worst we have encountered in any venue in years. The only thing that was prompt was the bill...he even tried to take it away to process before I put down my credit card. The server disappeared for long periods of time, our order came in pieces 20 minutes apart and the person delivering it started to give us someone else’s order. The food itself was mediocre at best. It seemed to us that no one from top to bottom cares.
Tapas were delicious and the ambiance was warm and friendly but not too loud to carry on conversation.
Cozy and inviting place that feels surprisingly authentic as a Spanish cafe. Highlights: lamb chops, chicken croquettes, brussels sprouts, bread with olive oil, array of Spanish wines. Not blown away by the shrimp or the octopus tapas. Those should be better! I'd go back to try more, though, because the place has good atmosphere.
The service was excellent for the food prep quality was not great. We ordered four tapas items. Two tapas dishes were very over cooked (garlic shrimp and bacon wrapped fig). The salmon and octopus was very good. The sangria was very tasty.
Great place to dine. The tapas were wonderful and it was a all you can eat brunch. LOVE IT
Excellent food. Loved the experience.
This is a very good value for Spanish tapas. The best part of the meal was the paella. Highly recommend for a small group.
It is incredible how a Spanish restaurant doesn’t have a TV package that contains Spain’s soccer league. Really disappointed. And not only me, many clients left cause game wasn’t available.
Honestly the food is not great and is overpriced. The sangria is good.
My girlfriends and I went Saturday night for dinner. Great experience, wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and most attentive server ever, Walter. Highly recommend!!!
Prices vary and it's all worth it! Loved every bite! They also had a great guitarist and flamenco dancer. Can't wait to go back! This was my first tapas restaurant and I so enjoyed it. Made for a memorable girls day out lunch
Lamb chops were initially overcooked. We told the waiter and he immediately put in a new order for us, which came out perfectly cooked!
The culinary adventure continues in Georgetown. We're at Bodega a Spanish Tapas Restaurant. We ordered an assortment of hot tapas. The lamb chops, nicely done with the right amount of seasoning. Gambia's al ajillo, good heat with the peri peri peppers, yummy. Dates wrapped in bacon, scrumptious, the grilled octopus just so so. Pear salad light and refreshing with a honey vinaigrette and goat compliments and completes this dish. My husband is not a fan of duck, but found the Duck confit excellent. All the tapas are prepared nicely. Our service was great and the food came out nice and hot. Our server, Daniel was also great with his recommendations and was very attentive. I gave it a 5 for overall, however, the noise level was high and really tight seating. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Georgetown. Food experience was wonderful.
It was a great experience for our party of 5 . The food , the music in the background, the excellent service and ambiance made our evening Fantastic. We are definitely going again , soon .
Might be my new favorite tapas place. Great food at reasonable prices with equally great service.
This restaurant is wonderful. The food is delicious, the service is excellent and the drinks are terrific. You cannot go wrong when choosing Bodega for dinner when in DC.
Cold at the bar as there was no curtain blocking the wind when the door opened. Great food!
Very flavourful food with a menu featuring the biggest highlights of Spanish tapas and more. Very nice cocktails. Outstanding service. Very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!
I love this place. There’s good food, good drinks, and good dancing (live flamenco on the weekends).
Magnificent ambiance, great service, right on M street....and the food delicious! Highly recommend!
The all you can eat brunch was a great value. The eggs maryland were outstanding. The only issue was that some plates were a little too big for the restricted space on the table. Aside from that it was a great meal.
Absolutely fabulous! We had a group of 4 people and we ordered 9 dishes and every one of them was incredible. The service was excellent and we will definitely return!
Delicious tapas, loved the tortilla espaniol, spinach, and the shrimp. Bacon wrapped dates were thoroughly deep friend and i wouldn’t recommend those.
