If you’re in Omaha, and you’re hungry, do yourself a favor, hit this place up.
Great food, awesome service.
The butternut squash soup was absolutely decadent! The dollop of ricotta cheese really put it over the top.
Delicious eclectic food. Highly recommended. However we were sat near bar where their was a large crowd loudly chatting and standing around. I dont mind energetic atmosphere, but it was quite distracting while we were trying to have a nice and special night out.
Great atmosphere! Fantastic service and a decent cocktail program. The food is over performed - the waygu sirloin was covered in sauce and plated with a variety of stuff under it, next to it and some very well done broccoli. The meat quality was just so-so, slightly tough, given the fact it is supposed to be a high quality cut. The sauces, etc. tend to over power the dishes. Not a good value for the price.
Great as always
the only negative comment is that the swordfish tasted fishy. service and other food was great.
Beautiful food! Loved everything. An exceptional experience!
Boiler Room was the perfect location for a birthday dinner prior to a night at the Theater. The craft cocktails were fun and delicious. The food was excellent. The service impeccable. And the ambiance was wonderful! We truly enjoyed the occasion and will be back again soon!
Very amazing service. Delicious food as always and friendly staff! Thank you.
This was hands-down the best meal I have ever had. My husband travels quite regularly and is able to enjoy high-end dining frequently; he agrees that his was also the best meal he has ever enjoyed.
It was our first time there. We enjoyed the odors and activity looking down from our table over the chef's work areas. Even so, it was quiet enough for easy conversation.
We had an appetizer, entrees, and desserts. It struck me after leaving that there was no high point or lower point in the meal: every bite of every dish was as good as the others. The sauces brought out to tastes without ever overpowering them.
Our server was cheerful and attentive without being overly present. She was able to respond helpfully to questions about menu items, even though these change with what the chef is able to get.
The wine list was overpowering in both length and price.
All I can say is that this is the best restaurant in Nebraska and rivals any places that I've dined at in the great restaurant city, St. Louis.
It was just okay. We had heard it was very high end. Open table said “classy”. It didn’t feel all that high end. Or even classy. People were in jeans. Food was good - not great. Service was GREAT. Feeling was just kind of “meh”. We took our daughter and her boyfriend out for our daughter’s birthday. The place was not crowded on a Saturday night. We all liked the place. I just don’t know that we’d be back. I didn’t love it.
Chef altered things to our desire, will go back time and time again!
One of my absolute favorite restaurants anywhere, the Boiler Room doesn't disappoint! Superb flavor from locally sourced ingredients plated beautifully. We shared our plates with each other, so we could experience as much as possible. The Boiler Room makes a special event even better. Thanks to you all!
Food, service were excellent. Small menu with three fish, one chicken, one pork and one steak protein. Innovative, good tasting veggies. Great attention to dietary requirements. Excellent house wines by the glass.
Steaks were great, fish was overcooked, charcuterie was mediocre, service was adequate but not at the level one would expect for this price point--the waiter was "phoning it in". Mixed drinks were great, wine was seriously overpriced. It was a huge disappointment overall. Not what I expected at all for my husband's birthday dinner. $281 later...
The setting is very relaxing. The dishes were creative, interesting and were presented beautifully. We had not been to the Boiler Room for several years because it seemed to us repetitious. No longer! The Boiler Room is pricey for Omaha but worth a visit.
If you want a special treat, have dinner at the Boiler Room!!! Probably the finest meal you could have in Omaha. Very creative chefs!!!
Their food is ridiculously good. The Boiler Room is a special occasion place for us. As we were enjoying our meal and beverages, I told my wife we should really eat here more often.
Second visit this year. Food is fuego! Even if you dont understand whats on the menu, chances are youll eat your whole plate. The dining experience here itself is pretty neat, open kitchen, plenty of wine and drinks. We'll continue to come back.
We had an amazing dinner, staff was on point. We had a movie to go to after and had to leave an hour after our reservation to make it. We didn’t feel rushed at all!
The food was excellent - very interesting menu. The ambiance was very cool. Service was excellent - about the best I have had outside of Japan.
Great spot just off the beaten path. Food and service are always excellent.
Perfect meal. Extraordinary service. Complex and delicious food and drink. This has been on my "to do" list for sometime, and this was a perfect venue for a special occasion. A great dining experience and will return - gladly.
The Boiler Room is a true Omaha gem. My wife and I came in for our anniversary, and we could not have asked for a better experience. AJ provided tremendous, extremely knowledgeable service adding the extra touches to make it a memorable evening. From the cocktails and wine to each and every bite of food, it was perfect. Keep doing what you do, we'll keep coming back!
My wife and I entertained a close friend for an excellent dinner at The Boiler Room. Everything was presented with style, and consumed with gusto.
We celebrated our anniversary here. We love coming back! The food is amazing and the drinks are as well. Love sitting upstairs and watching the chefs and bartender do their work... art!
This was my favorite restaurant to go to for couples date night wether it was with my girlfriends or someone else, the food was always so delicious even tho the portion was small, but this time the food disappointed us, it had no taste or flavor to it whatsoever, now i wont say i wont be back because i will be back to try something else, just this was the only time it disappointed me. I hope my next experience will be better.
Amazing food. Top 5 in town
While entertaining visiting guests, we wanted to treat them to our favorite restaurant. This particular visit wasn't as successful as we have always known. The table service was sub par. The server was stretched and inconsistent. He was not engaging when he did make it to the table and we felt like an afterthought.
This is only our 2nd time to the Boiler Room and it again totally impressed us!! This has become our new favorite restaurant for date night out. Though it would be considered a true fine dining experience, the cost is less than competition and the meal was 2nd to none. Can't say enough good things about them.
we were celebrating wedding anniversary. We both really enjoyed the experience.
Loved the food at the Boiler Room and the ambiance was amazing. We also loved the pastry chef Mary! She was so sweet and friendly. The desserts were amazing! We had 1 of everything. Thank you for making my birthday extra special!
Amazing hidden gem behind nondescript doors. Once we entered we were met with amazing attention and hospitality. Grace the bartender created fantastic cocktails tailored to our requests. Once we were seated for dinner we enjoyed the interesting interior design of the space as we easily chatted through our dinner. The food was delicious and the deserts very well executed! Overall a evening we won’t forget for all good reasons. Highly recommend the place and we will be returning!
Amazing. Always a great experience!
Excellent service and probably the best prepared meal I have had in Omaha. Hats off to the chefs, as every aspect about our meal was first class.
Not even -1- and done.
First time there, we promptly ordered a btl of Rose’ off the wine list, it took the waitress 15 minutes to locate it.
it was brought to the table room @ temperature and opened, we told the server to chill it to a drinkable temperature,
That took 20 more minutes, so we are 30-40 minutes into this thing no food or drink.
After the wine was chilled we ordered our starters, the manager served the apps and upon doing this he told us we would have
to leave by our table by 7:30! It was already 6:30.
I asked if he was joking and he rudely said “no you will have to be done eating and off the table by 7:30.” We we’re in shock as there was no
way we going to be able to enjoy our meal, let alone finish! Side note, there was 2 other couples in the entire restaurant at this time.
Absolutely one of the worst customer service situations we have ever been in.
We threw in the towel and left, not eating. Appalling is a good adjective.
1-why would any supposedly higher end restaurant even think to serve a white/Rose wine at room temperature?
2-how could any professionally trained mgrs (or not) even think to run a paying customer out the door for their own lack timely service!!
3-we will never go back, as there are too many great restaurants in Omaha to take that kind of abuse.
4-hopefully the owners of this establishment will read this and fire the person in charge.
