Celebrated our daughter’s birthday. The Boiler Room is such a beautiful environment, staff is very professional and knowledgeable, and the food was outstanding! Perfect birthday setting for our celebration!

Love this unique place. It is an intimate dining experience. Although I prefer to sit downstairs, the upstairs was still very nice. The chef provides a wide variety of amazing food to choose from. The service is always very personable. Plan on being there awhile as they do not rush you between the different courses of the meal.

This is our third or fourth time here, and as usual, it was an overall excellent experience, especially during the complex time of the Coronavirus. Everyone from the waitstaff to the kitchen were wearing masks and gloves, and tables were even more widely spaced than usual, all of which made us feel comfortable. They also had good signage advising guests to wear masks and adhere to soci distancing protocols.
We started off with an excellent cocktail then on to a creatively prepared raw scallop served with a tasting of radish, and a wonderful cold sauce. I enjoyed Waygu steak cooked ever so slightly past medium rare, (but still fine), accompanied by a piece of Waygu tongue which was absolutely perfect. My wife chose swordfish which she really enjoyed, especially since swordfish is a difficult fish to prepare properly. For dessert we shared an “ice cream sandwich” served between homemade cookies with a center of chocolate caramel and a nice sauce. Very good indeed, but frankly a bit too much like cheesecake than ice cream.
Don’t let the name of this place fool you. This is a truly gourmet dining experience from start to finish. We always enjoy our stop at the Boiler Room, and I would not visit the area without going there for an excellent experience.

I delight in the industrial atmosphere, the wait staff is attentive and the food is prepared with care. I did not enjoy the cut of steak but found the rest of the meal very well done.
We haven’t been to the boiler room for over three years. Last time we ate there my husband and I both had terrible meals. His pork chop was really tough and my wagu beef was really tough as well. Could hardly cut it and could hardly eat it. We mentioned it to the server, but nothing was done to rectify the problem. So we haven’t gone back for a long time. We went this time because my step daughter gave us a gift card to go so we decided to try it again. It was very disappointing. The fish that I got was too salty and my husband‘s duck was tough he was able to cut it with a knife but it was difficult and it was too chewy. I don’t know what you are doing with your meat. But it’s not very good. We won’t be back. There are too many other places in downtown Omaha that serve great food. And aren’t as pricey as the boiler room.

The combination of ingredients and the impeccable preparation never disappoint. We were seated downstairs this time and that was nice for a change. The waitress was "just learning" some things which was a little disconcerting but she was pleasant and had good timing. I do wish we had been warned about the construction surrounding the restaurant. We walked from a nearby hotel and we somehow ended up stumbling through rubble and climbing over orange barriers to get there. Not a mention on the website!

We love this place for special occasions. When we booked and told them it was our Anniversary they printed special menus for us that said Happy Anniversary. It’s that extra mile that makes this place great in addition to their fabulous food and outstanding service. Our server Margo was amazing! The ambiance is beautiful especially downstairs. I recommend the table under the stairs or in the wine cellar.

We went to the Boiler Room for our anniversary and can’t say enough nice things about the staff. The bartender was extremely attentive when we felt overwhelmed by the extensive drink menu. We both enjoyed the cheese board paired with pork belly for appetizers and felt we experienced amazing flavors and pairings throughout the meal. We chose the tourine for dessert which was absolutely DIVINE! The macaroon that came with it was yuzu/black sesame.
The only thing I would change about the restaurant is the chairs. They are not comfortable and the material has slowly shredded over time. Update these, and I’d have given 5 stars in every category!
An amazing gem for meat lovers! By far the best charcuterie and sausage (all home made) anywhere (yes - even better than NYC). Menu changes frequently based upon availability and is fun - something for everyone. Super cool ambiance (quiet) and great wine list. Highly highly recommend.
Tried the Valentine's 3 course menu with wine pairings. Fantastic experience! Food was excellent and wines thoughtfully curated. Thanks to the chef for accommodating our kids too!

Nice experience mostly influenced by the very nice young lady that greeted us and hangared our coats. Met our son and his girlfriend for a Valentines Eve dinner that was a great experience. My wife and I enjoyed halibut while our guests were very pleased with the perfectly prepared Morgan Ranch Wagyu sirloins. We selected three types of cheese for a cheese-board appetizer which was a fun experience, and capped the evening with delicious latte's.
Being farm-to-table, it will be most optimal to dine in June - September allowing us to appreciate locally grown produce. I thanked and complimented the chef and his team who beamed with gratitude for the acknowledgment of their craft.
3rd time there. Food and service good but forgot how overpriced the wines are. If we return we will bring our own as first time and pay corkage fee. Also for a place like this, nice wine glasses would have been much better for wine by glass.
Waaay to loud for a date night, and you're trying to hold a conversation with your date. Otherwise, everything else was extremely well done.
Boiler Room was such a nice date night restaurant - fantastic service. The sommelier wasn't overly stuffy or pretentious, the food was fantastic, and the ambience can't be beat. I have finally found my favorite Omaha restaurant!! Thank you Boiler Room!
This was the first time we ate at the Boiler Room. It has one of the neatest views when you first enter. We had the octopus appetizer which was fantastic. My wife had the salmon and I had the grouper. Each was cooked perfectly. Service was good but not the best we have had. All in all, a wonderful experience and we will go back.
Amazing food and ambience, got to talk with Chef Tim, and he was a delight. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection, wine was absolutely delicious. Very knowledgeable staff. They had just run out of the dessert we asked for, so they gave us a choice of a different dessert, on the house. Meeting Chef Tim was particularly great, and he talked with me a fair bit about their process, food philosophy, and talked with me about their in house charcuterie. Amazing experience all around.

The entrees and appetizers are always amazing. The cheese they have is fabulous. I am going 4/5 disappointed in the service as well as the dessert.
