Being new to the area we had tried a few nice places but not outstanding. This was our first truly great meal. We indicated this was a birthday and though there was no candle or acknowledgment verbally there was a happy birthday printed on the menu. Our table overlooked the chef and the food and presentation were fabulous. I love the interior and also loved that I wasn’t frozen by a/c! Thanks! Drinks were great too. The only disappointment is dessert. Just not up to the level of the rest of the meal. Service was friendly and attentive. We will be back.
Anniversary dinner was very very good. Great service, great food. Will definitely recommend and return.
Our favorite restaurant in Omaha. Knowledgeable and courteous staff and a kitchen that is always trying something new. Fantastic cocktails too.
This was our first trip to Omaha, and everyone we mentioned to recommended we come to the Boiler Room. The food is fresh, delicious, creative, and presented in a beautiful caring way. The waitstaff is knowledgeable, attentive, but not overbearing and helpful. They call out the local ingredients they source on their menu, and were willing to make adjustments for my gluten free needs
Great adult-oriented place, creative menu, excellent service. Vibe matched decor, have intimate or more social table options. Highly recommend.
Dishes were really differentiated - with a cool industrial vibe
Always original, always wonderful. Every bite is a treasure.
Wonderful food! Best scallops ever. Seared to perfection.
Great service on top of great food. I can easily see us returning in the future.
Fantasist service and food. Easily the best meal we’ve had in Omaha. Worth the money.
Ashleigh our server was one of the best we have had anywhere. Please pass it on to her! Everything special and fabulous.
Amazing food! It was a special dinner celebrating my birthday 🍾🥂
Incredible food, service and ambience. We will be back!
An exceptional experience, the food the ambiance it was a wonderful date night place. Make sure that you ask for a table that overlooks the kitchen/bar.
Great experience. Food and service were awesome.
We loved the Boiler Room! Our waitress was outstanding-she made great recommendations and was so knowledgeable. The food was outstanding, delicious to eat and beautiful to look at. We loved the space very industrial but charming.
So glad to return after a year without. Outstanding service, food, wine as always.
Amazing food and atmosphere. Servers were incredible and very attentive. If you want an experience enjoying food instead of just a quick dinner then this is your place. Highly recommend the charcuterie and cheese boards.
It was a birthday celebration and they made it very special. The food, service and ambiance were all amazing.
Best course was actually dessert ! Our table was on the upper floor and overlooked the open kitchen: fun!
This was the first time since COVID started that I dined here, but I'd been to the Boiler Room several times before. Our experience was a bit mixed.
Appetizers: Both the chicken boudin blanc we thoroughly enjoyed both.
Entree: both the baked Alaskan halibut & Morgan ranch wagyu sirloin steak were delicious. The steak was just a tad chewy, but temperature-wise it was perfectly cooked. The sides were a bit middling: I'm not sure I need both wild rice & potatoes
Dessert: The panna coatta was tasty, though a bit too dense & sweet. The cheese (campo de montalban, cascina lattea, le chartreux) was solid, though I would not re-order the campo. What was desperately missing was some bread. I never understand when a cheeseboard is offered without some bread.
Service: This could've been considerably better. We appreciated getting a half glass of bubbly (to mark our anniversary): nice touch! But we ordered drinks (both of which were tasty--no complaints there), which I expect to drink BEFORE any food arrives. Yet, we were not even halfway through them when we got the appetizers. Moreover, we had expected for the sommelier to come to discuss wine pairings; instead, we were just brought two glasses of whites (in absurdly small glasses that are best reserved for dessert wines). Oddly, it was our server who'd told us that she'd tell the sommelier to stop by (we didn't request this). The sommelier did come--upon our 2nd request--to consult for the entree, & the reds we had were good pairings.
Service was also lacking in terms of timing. Our entrees arrived, yet we had no silverware, & we got only one fork/knife.
Also: consider the message you send with your bathroom sign about washing hands: it’s in English, German (!?), and French, when the 2nd most spoken language in the US is Spanish. What gives?
Fantastic menu options. Drinks. Appetizers. Entrees. Desserts.
Chef Tim is the best in town!
The Boiler Room is a special restaurant which has extraordinary flavors and gourmet fish selections.
The wine menu is eclectic and we had Santa Cristina
from the Emilia region of Italy.
Excellent spot for dinner and drinks. My partner and I celebrated our anniversary last night here and we plan to come back again. Great food, wonderful ambiance, and attentive staff. Definitely worth the price and reservation! We are from the West Coast (SF/Portland) and felt "at home" at The Boiler Room.
Just a wonderful place to eat for a special occasion. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here. Our food was wonderful. Our waiter was wonderful and the ambiance was wonderful. It is a bit pricey, but in my opinion it was worth it.
Absolutely delicious, creative dishes and cocktails with stellar service. Highlights included the beef tartare, served with badass black pepper focaccia slathered in anchovy aioli, and the tender crepe served alongside perfect porchetta. We asked or excellent server to bring a couple of glasses of wine to pair with the meal, and the suggestions proved delightful. Finished with the tart opera cake and went home happy.
The overall experience was 10/10! The salmon crudo stole the culinary show. The dessert and drinks were no slouches either!
Outstanding in every respect!!
Wide selection of wines reasonably priced
Excellent charcuterie board
Entrees were presented beautifully and absolutely delicious
Dessert made on site was out of this world.
About my favorite restaurant in Omaha.
Staff was super friendly, food was incredible and the ambiance was great. We had the duck and halibut which we’ll 100% be ordering again when we come back. This place seeks like a great spot for a date nifht or special occasions!
Industrial decor in restored warehouse. Creative menu in all categories! Excellent friendly service. You will not be disappointed.
Amazing food and service. Overall a pleasant experience.
Great date night, servers did a great job with the pacing, and the food and drink were delicious!
Great service. It was a anniversary dinner so the took the extra step of having all the staff know. As a result everyone we interacted with wished us happy anniversary and it was even printed on the menu. Nice extra touch!
Had all three courses and everything was cooked to our liking and the service was top notch. We ate early (6 PM) and on weekday so it was not busy. We live in the neighborhood so we will be going back soon.
Great dining experience
I had let them know it was my husband's birthday and asked for a very unique cocktail ("the Last Word"), they made sure they had the ingredients and offered it to him immediately. He was so surprised and appreciative. The Bartender even came and chatted with us, so fun! Our service was perfect. Excellent Monkfish and steak tartare.
We went to Boiler Room for our anniversary. The food so absolutely wonderful. We had the salmon with harissa aioli for an appetizer. It was fantastic. I had the black bass with asparagus, gnocchi and mushrooms for a main course. Everything was perfect. The skin on the fish was crispy. The veggies were really fresh. My husband had flank steak with lentils. He loved the steak sauce! We both agreed that we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the portions. They brought us free glasses of champagne for our anniversary which was so nice. Service was great and the staff was very attentive. I had a drink called the desert rose that was good but really smokey. I like cocktails with a smokey flavor, but it was a little overpowering for my taste. The building itself is really chic. I loved the exposed brick and industrial feel. It was a great experience. We will be back for sure. I cannot recommend Boiler Room enough!
Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Great value pricing for food and drinks. Unbelievable dessert!
