Brick's of Northville
They were out of pork and steak on a Monday. Food was okay but nothing super exciting
I cannot recommend a place such as Bricks that doesnot honor online reservations placed days in advance. That day they decided to cancel all opentable requests in favor of people who showed up unreserved at their door. Not sure if thats how they operate, but it was an embarrassing situation for my group.
I enjoyed my time at the Brick. Definitely the place for comfort food. The place is nice, but more like your standard sports bar. Lots of TVs with games going full force. Lots of room. I liked the food and thought it was all tasty and appears to all be freshly made. Definitely will return.
We had the steak sliders and Michigan salad with chicken, with a side of pita bread. The food was good and the portions generous. The hot pitas were especially delicious. Our server was excellent - probably the best I've experienced there.
Our server never made eye contact. It took him 5 minutes to come around to take our drink order. When our food was served, we had to wave down our waiter (it took several minutes to get his attention) because we had no silverware to eat. So the food was not very hot.
We did get our table right away and that was a good thing. We did have a not so great experience one other time so this was us giving them a second chance. There will not be a third opportunity.
Although it was almost empty, service was lacking... bartenders seemed more interested in making drinks for THEMSELVES than taking care of the paying customers. Also very irritating to have customers vaping out in the open- right at the bar.. the one man continually blew plumes of smoke/vapor down towards the floor which was right at the end of our table below. It was obvious the bartenders saw this & allowed it.
I really should’ve taken the many bad reviews into consideration before making this reservation. We won’t be back.
Very few customers
There was a hair in my dinner. It was remade and a beer was comped for the inconvenience but I’d prefer to not be served dinner that way in the first place. This is the first time this has happened to me here.
We haven't been to Brick's in a while and the service was better-faster-and our waitress was very attentive and sweet. We sat outside and it was a beautiful evening for it! Glad we went.
Out of what I wanted to eat and had to settle for a hamburger. told them it was a special occasion when I signed up but nothing happened
The convenience of Bricks and its outside patio does not offset its awful food and service. This will be our last visit.
We made a last minute reservation at Brick's for Father's day lunch for our party of 13. It ended up being the perfect place for us to bring five young kids because it wasn't crowded and they were able to run around, especially on the stage area. Great food and service, everything was fresh and fast and the waitress was very attentive.
Service was good but slow. We waited for 15 minutes before our server came to the table.
Good food, we were there in the afternoon, so it was pretty quiet. I can't speak to night time noise level.
The service was great but the food was ok. The food wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad. It lacked seasoning.
Over all nice casual place. We had issues with security in the parking lot where we almost had out purses stolen. The restaurant itself was nice. Though I know Northville (my hometown) is safe and very nice...there are issues with loiters and theft.
Went to celebrate a few birthdays and to watch the MSU game. Food was great. Service was pretty slow to get food and drinks, almost as if they weren’t expecting a crowd to watch the game.
We were at Brick's for Trivia on Wednesday. A fun time!
This is the worst experience I have had in restaurant in my life. The service was extremely slow and she forgot half our order and never brought it and we asked where it was she simply said sorry. I told here bring me the bill we’re leaving.
I booked this reservation for customers and I couldn’t have been more disappointed. Slow service, dirty plates, brown limes in drinks, broken glass on the floor after the server dropped a glass and never picked it up, out of half their beers on tap and terrible food.
Do you want more?
Good food and service. I will go back!!
Could be a good place. Needs to be managed better. Need more training, etc. Pizza LOOKED good. Other food was so so. Freezing in the corner of the restaurant. 50% of the beer taps were frozen.
It was busy, with a lot of full tables at the restaurant, but out Server, Lindsay, did an outstanding job taking care of our party of 8. 7 of the 8 people complimented on their food. 1 was less than impressed with their pizza.
Was a little disappointed that they were out of my choice for beer (Pacifico) and was told couldn’t get a small deep dish pizza only large. That info should be on the menu. Also forgot to bring a salad that one of us ordered.
My first visit. Food was excellent. Big draft beer list. I was surprised and delighted to find a local craft favorite. Service was friendly, but maybe a little slow. Would definitely return.
Good food and drink. Waitstaff service was average.
First date. Relaxing, fitting atmosphere. Nothing was overbearing. Waitress was attentive. Would definitely go again. This is not the normal, run of the mill sports bar/chain establishments.
On a Thursday evening (Valentine's Day, no less), it was a nice, quiet place for a night out -- not too noisy and good, if unspectacular food. It was exactly what we were looking for.
I was a little disappointed because my husband and I went there to hear some live music and the entertainment didn't show up. We asked the hostess before we sat down and she gave us the impression that they were coming. I ordered pizza and it was raw. I sent it back and it came back raw again. Hiwever, the the manager did take it off our bill. Other than that, everything else we ordered as good and the wait staff was very professional and friendly. We will give it another chance.
We’ve been to Brick’s several times, but tonight was disappointing. They were out of several things, the service was slow, and my wife’s Hawaiian pizza was bland
Will not go back.
Service and food quality ok, but not quite to the same level compared to past visits.
food was good......service was great........would go back....will go back
They called and cancelled our Thanksgiving reservation 2 days before the holiday.
Ordered fish and chips and fish was overdone. No flavor and rubbery texture. Ate one piece and left the rest. Waitress didn’t even ask if everything was okay. A waitress from another table took it away and apologized and said would tell the chef. Was never offered price reduction by her or our first server. It’s ok,I’ll never return.
Nice neighborhood bar! Great bar with lot of seating.
Our experience with Bricks has been pretty good over the years. We always go back for the pizza but lately its been extremely cheesy.. like way too much. Pizza has not been up to par. We even asked for a reduced amount of cheese on this last visit and it again came out super cheesy.
We had the fish & chips and Michigan salad with salmon. Both were tasty and we'd recommend them.
Server was slow, didn’t check on us much. Food was good but took a LONG time; over 40 minutes to come out.
It was horrible. When we walked in the hostesses were talking to each other and didn’t acknowledge us. Then we were seated and no one came to wait on us for 10 minutes. We finally got our waitress and she was horrible I asked for a refill on my coke and waited 5. She finally came back and had completely forgotten and didn’t apologize or anything. The food was good service garbage. Would never come back. Don’t waste your time or money.
We went for my mother’s birthday. The food was great along with the service! Very friendly waitress and staff. Great time was had by all!
