Bridges Restaurant - MD
Very good food. Great view of the bay from the indoor patio
Beautiful location on the waterfront. Upscale nautical theme and decor. Service was very good, and the variety of menu choices spanning seafood, beef and chicken options provided plenty of options. Dining room was very open with mostly hard surfaces, so it was very noisy and difficult to have a conversation during dinner. Wife had the mahi nahi and I had the filet mignon. Mahi came out very nice and no complaints. My filet was ordered medium, but came out medium well. I can eat anywhere from medium rare to medium well so wasn't that big a deal for me, but some may have sent it back to the kitchen. Overall was a nice dining experience though a little pricey. I would recommend.
My third time to Bridges and always a great experience. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend the brussel sprout appetizer. And the crab cake is one of the best I've had. It can be a little loud due to the size of the restaurant but it is worth it. Great experience!
We brought our friends visiting from Australia and gave them a taste of the Maryland Eastern Shore. Starting with a visit to St. Michael’s and ending with a fabulous dinner at Bridges, but first they got to experienced a beautiful sunset. We started our wonderful experience at Bridges with delicious cocktails and the Evolution Chocolate Stouts. Then we had a platter of oysters. What a wonderful selection! Our dinners were the Coconut crusted Parrot fish and Mango Shrimp, Scallops and Risotto, and Chicken Marsala. It was OUTSTANDING!!! To end our meal, we shared the Whiskey Cake with Salted Caramel and pecans, and Sinful Chocolate Cake. We had a fabulous time and a wonderful first experience at Bridges.
Thanks for a pleasant evening
Fun atmosphere. Food quite good, not exceptional. Main issue is the noise level. Anything they could do to dampen noise reflection woukd make the whole experience considerably improved.
Bridges was busy and EXTREMELY noisy Saturday night, and it seemed as tho they were short of service staff. The menu is fairly limited, but my daughter and I were happy with our choices. The butternut soup was excellent, and my pasta dish was tasty, although only lukewarm. I suspect it was ready early and "waited" for my daughter's to be ready.
We asked to take leftovers home, and the containers were brought to us. The bill was also brought to the table without asking if we wanted coffee or dessert first.
I expect more for a restaurant which charges $32 for an entrée.
I didn't know Bridges existed until about a month ago but I will not forget it. It was a wonderful experience.
Bridges is a consistently good restaurant with lovely water and sunset views. The food
is very good. Two things that could improve are the fact that the menu does not change and there
are no specials, and the prices are too high. However, I still recommend Bridges because it’s a fun place
and the food is good.
The server was training another server and they got side tracked folding napkins, so it took so long trying to get their attention-we didn't have dessert and coffee, paid and left.
Lovely place to dine outside and enjoy a Kent Island sunset.
Beautiful dinner on the water with friends!
Food was great. We had a really good time and will be back again.
We had lunch here today based on good reviews. The food was mediocre, my fish was all breading, the fries were undercooked. My husband's fish tacos lacked flavor.
As always, great food. Stuffed shrimp chased with their massive slice of chocolate cake, and scallops chased with a blonde dessert...very good.
I would say this is a great place for drinks and appetizers. The main entree’s were very little food and the items served were extremely bland. The filet I received had no seasoning, even lacking basic salt and pepper, and it was served almost at a luke warm temperature. It does have a wonderful view and they seemed very busy when we were there so it must be a popular place. Just we’ll start here for an appetizer and go to The Narrows Or Fisherman’s for dinner entrees.
Great seafood grille beautiful setting congeal staff
First time there on a recommendation, was not let down. Food great, opted to sit outside because of the noise level inside.
Food was great. Service was a little slow as a few times we were left to wonder if our server was ever coming back.
The harbor view was outstanding at twilight and the food was most enjoyable especially the cream of crab, crab-stuffed shrimp and perfectly prepared seared scallops. But our most rewarding experience was our waiter, Luke. As busy as he was handling diners both inside and on the deck, he was always at our table at the right time to take care of our needs. His wine service was perfection...offering a host's taste, serving from the right and ladies first. It's a ritual usually provided at the finest restaurants, not the reasonably-priced Bridges at Kent Narrows. Luke was one of very few servers in my lifetime that deserved and received a 25% tip. Looking forward to our next visit to this Chesapeake gem!
Always a wonderful meal! Seafood was fresh and fantastic! Our waiter Chase was polite, friendly and very attentive! Would ask for him when we return!!
Food was very good. The biggest issue at Bridges is the noise level. It was so loud the four of us had to lean in and talk loud to be able to hear each other. We brought friends there who were in from out of town. It was a mistake. Eating there during the week is not as bad but this was a Friday night.
The macadamia nut encrusted parrotfish over a bed of mango rice was fabulous. Half price bottle of wine night enabled a great pairing with the meal. The outside seating on the water with a gorgeous sunset capped off the meal. Highly recommend a visit.
Everything from the scenery to the service to the food was top notch.
Can’t say enough about our first dining experience here for our anniversary. Amy, our server, was friendly, cheerful and right on with her service. Plates were very appealing and food was outstanding. Bridges is our new “go to” for finer dining on Kent Island.
My husband and I went to celebrate our 35th Anniversary! I was nervous as I had never been there before, but I’m glad we went!! Food and service were on point and we were able to sit outside overlooking the bay with a beautiful sunset. They had musicians singing but it wasn’t loud. Food came out hot and prepared to perfection. Husband had crab cakes and I ordered one of the specials which had shrimp, scallops, muscles and spaghetti in a light sherry sauce! We will be back!
Outdoor seating with a quiet duo singing and a beautiful sunset. Plus food was good, cream of crab soup and the watermelon and arugula salad are always a good choice.
My Aunt and Uncle were visiting us from Florida. I wanted to show them a good time and knew Bridges was the place to go in our area. We have always had good food and the service is excellent.
Another wonderful meal sitting outside by the water. We ordered seared scallops and paired it with a nice French white wine. The service was excellent and the food outstanding.
The food has dramatically improved since last year. It seems a little pricey.
Great view. Great food and service!
Great food. Outside seating is beautiful! Definitely worth it for the view and the cream if crab soup!!
Such a view. Excellent service. Arrived for lunch mid week around 11:30 a.m, not crowded til noonish.
Interesting but ultimately disappointingly prepared menu, covers several flavor options, appetizers large enough for meal, stay away from the tacos (over seasoned and dry), nothing spectacular but ok. It’s the ambience and service that carried the day.
One of my fav. Eastern Shore destinations when I stay in Kent Narrows. I love the views! Sunsets are beautiful! I had an ABSOLUTELY wonderful server who treated us most kindly. The food was very very good! Will definitely make this one of our places to enjoy! Whether cocktails and small plates or dinner entrees, everything looks and tastes INCREDIBLE!
The day was perfect. We sat outside overlooking the water. Our food was outstanding and the service excellent.
Mike gave outstanding service. The drinks and food were good. It was a beautiful day so we asked to sit outside. The ambience was perfect.
We were seated and served immediately. Salmon and crab dishes were delicious, service was outstanding. We also used the WiFi while we were there to pull up business docs. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Everything was rather average. Service was excellent though. We were there for the view, and the opportunity to dine outside by the water. Serving bbq sauce with a deliciously cooked piece of fresh fish was a mystery.
