Brigantine Coronado

Restaurants are open again and the Brigantine Coronado was very good. The service was exceptional and food was great. The Macadamia nut Mahi was great. I would recommend this restaurant for those craving seafood.

Feel so lucky to have dined here before the latest shutdown took effect. The food was delicious! (try the pork chops-to die for!) Our waiter was attentive and the ambiance was quite nice with the heaters going.

For being the last night before they had to shut down, everyone was so pleasant and eager to serve. Our server was a delight! From drinks to dinner to dessert everything was delicious.

This restaurant holds special meaning. We had our first date here over 30 years ago. We had lunch earlier in the week and we're disappointed with the food. The server comped the soup. Dinner, service was great but my lobster was totally overcooked. I reported it but nothing done to correct. Very disappointed.

With the lockdown approaching, we wanted a last wonderful meal at our favorite restaurant! The Brigantine did not disappoint with excellent service and delicious food. My husband had the Mahi and I had the Ahi. Both were perfectly prepared with beautiful presentations. It was a birthday celebration for my husband and the mud pie was a perfect accompaniment. We will look forward to dining there again when the pandemic permits!

Great food and great atmosphere!

My wife’s birthday was perfect at the Brigantine in Coronado! My wife had the Macadamia Nut French Toast, my daughter enjoyed the “Coronado” breakfast, and I appreciated the Spicy Puerto Nuevo Lobster Omelette. Chamber of Commerce weather added nicely to our brunch. A stroll around the Hotel Del capped off a beautiful morning

We celebrated our son's birthday and received wonderful service. Our server was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Tables were set up and spaced at a safe distance. We'll return.

Food was good. Blue Point Oysters, sandabs, ahi tuna.

Always a favorite for locals and guests, love the fish tacos and now they do lobster tempura tacos which are worth the splurge. Service is great.

Both were good, but the piece of swordfish was small.

We had a nice dinner here on a Monday evening. It was quiet and relaxing with good service. The outdoor patio was nice and warm with the heaters going. Thanks!

This was our first dining out since March. We have done takeout mainly. Covid safety practices seemed good. Decided to sit in the enclosed parking lot area because it had less people. The seating in front on the sidewalk seemed close together and a lot of people were walking through. Service was attentive and food was very good. Atmosphere is what one would expect for a parking lot but I had no complaints.

50th Celebration

Outdoor seating only, due to COVID, but they made it quite comfortable. Both of our dishes were amazing! (The prosciutto-wrapped halibut with pumpkin risotto, and the Macadamia-crusted Mahi with Parmesan risotto).

I took my wife and daughter here for my wife’s birthday. Our server Charlie was very knowledgeable and helpful with our menu selections. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding experience from the time we sat down until finishing our meal. Great atmosphere. The food was superb; from our appetizers, the main course, and the delicious desserts. Our waiter Charlie was tremendous; polite and professional, explaining the menu, answering our questions, constantly checking to see if we needed anything and fulfilling all of our needs. Tremendous dining experience!

Good, service a little slow

I got sick after dinning in your place. At first, I thought it could have been something else that had upsetted my stomach, but when I ate my left overs my stomach got sick again. After dinning I had to go to the wc right after I got home. But when I ate the left overs, my stomach felt upset for the rest of the day. I had to take an over the counter stomach diarreah relief. Still my stomach hurts.

Great food, great service, priced out very reasonable.

A little disappointing this time. The food was barely warm, but the service was great.

My New York strip steak was over cooked, I asked for medium rare but did not return it to the kitchen because I was already waiting over 45 minutes for our food to come out. I wasn’t satisfied.
