Fish tacos are delicious! French onion soup was yummy according to my sister. Good variety on the menu. Service was friendly, prices are good and I like the ambiance here!
I had a fun and delightful time at Brittingham. My girlfriend and I met for lunch and enjoyed the fireplace, good food and drinks, great service. It was a wonderful girls get together.
Treat yourself to a good time and go to Brittintgham.
Lousy service. Food poorly cooked, served cold and order missing items we requested. Waiter made weak attempt at best to explain the repeated mistakes. We’ve tried hard to like this place but it gets worse every time we go. This was out 5th and last visit there (have been trying for about 4 months to make this a regular stop).
Had a great brunch experience. The chocolate chip pancakes were delicious 😋. Also had mimosas and Bloody Mary. The service was on spot. We had Chris as our waiter. He was friendly and helpful.
Our waiter was very personable and did a great job.
excellent choice for lunch. will return for dinner in future.
We were surprised that even at 6:30 p.m. the parking lot was full, but there seemed to be plenty of room inside. Right from the cheerful greeting by the hostess, the service was excellent. Our server, Chris, was well-informed, attentive, and friendly. Most impressive of all, the food was excellent. We thought the prices for their "specialty" drinks was a bit high, but that us usually the case. All in all, we were very pleased.
Was great. Will definitely be back
We were placed between a birthday party with 12 people and a table with 4 children and 3 adults who did nothing to supervise the children. Brittingham’s cannot control that but we should not have been seated in the midst of that.
Fish and chips were delicious!
As always service was phenomenal and food was delicious. I had the meatloaf and it’s totally filling. I had the mussels for appetizer and they smelled and tasted so good.
Made reservations. Table was ready and waiting for us. Service was excellent. Water glass was always filled without asking. Menu was full of great selections. Had the special. Pork sandwich with fries. Sandwich came with a pleasant surprise. A long hot pepper cooked. Great accent for the pork. The price was very reasonable. Great value for everything offered. Great beer selection. Will definitely return.
Service is good. Food is not.
The perfect neighborhood pub. Great value!
Very nice spot - diverse menu and food was well prepared/good value. Will definitely return
Very nice atmosphere. However The fish tacos were fishy and too salty. The beer list is great and the Cobb salad with salmon was very good.
TOO PRICEY FOR THE QUALITY AND AMOUNT IN A SERVING.
I ORDERED THE BONESLESS SHORT RIBS. IT WAS A VERY SMALL PROTION AND WAS ICE COLD. I SENT IT BACK TO BE REHEATED AND IT WAS BARELY LUKEWARM WHEN IT REUTRNED.
MY FRIEND ORDERED A BURGER. HE SAID IT WAS OK. HOWEVER, WHEN ONE SPENDS $10.00 FOR A BURGER, THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU MORE THAN A FEW CHIPS ON THE SIDE.
IT WAS LUNCH HOUR THE WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND THE PLACE WAS EMPTY. I THINK I CAN SEE WHY.
Great server! Very upbeat and friendly. Food was good... we got some breakfast items and some lunch items.
Always a consistent experience with food quality, drinks, service and atmosphere. We especially love all they have done with the outside space to make it usable all year.
Nice neighborhood gem and great meet up spot for business or pleasure.
I really like Brittinghams but as there was an upstairs party the night we dined, many food items were prepared ahead of time. I know our onion rings were in the hot box as they came before an appetizer that we had ordered previous to the onion rings, And, my house salad was too dressed as the dressing had to have been added several hours prior to ordering and was too wet and limp. I understand the crowd situation and I do like to go to Brittinghams but I do want management to understand what was going on in the kitchen and food prep. We will be back again. Thank you for listening. Robin Dugan
We went for lunch on Black Friday. Other than an overly loud football game, the noise level was manageable to hear our elderly guests. Service delightful. food nicely plated and presented.
Went on a Saturday night and our Server was outstanding. Been a few years since I was here and the new owners have updated the entire place and food was very good. Very one there was so nice
The history of the Pub is what drew me . The ambiance was quite lovely, had a table by the fireplace.
When in Philly - one should have a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Which was good - a little dry - but still enjoyable. The soup - a butternut squash was delicious - really enjoyed that. Nice place!
Great place for a small famiky reunion. Grest service, good food, fun place. Highly recommend.
The food was good, but the wait service let something to be desired.
Brittingham's is nice for lunch if you don't sit in the bar where they play loud music.
French toast was delicious! Strawberry lemonade mimosa was really good & different. Garlic Parmesan wings needed more sauce. Regular lemonade not good.
Waiter was efficient & personable.
Band was awesome (reason for perfect energetic rating). Food and drink service was slow. Some of our food was overcooked (Fried Cheese...not sure how this gets messed up). Also, we were told you were out of chicken (tenders & wings) at 9:30 (not sure how that happens when there are only about 10 items on bar menu...20% of menu was not available?). Later that evening, we saw a plate of wings get delivered (around 10:30). Band saved the night! We will come back if Spirit is playing...but not so sure otherwise.
I was very disappointed with this restaurant. Went for lunch with some coworkers and was surprised at the poor service, we waited at least 45 minutes for our food and the order wasn’t even complete. Mediocre food, poor service, no thanks.
The meal was fine but nothing to write home about. The $14 burger came with just the burger, no fries, no pickles, nothing! The cheesesteak egg rolls were okay - looked a tad overdone but tasted fine. The Caesar salad was the best part less the crouton that was hard as a brick.
My wife and I went on a Saturday night for dinner, and she also wanted to hang around for the live music.
Our server was very cordial and accommodating.
I had a bowl of the soup special, chicken tortilla. Flavor was ok, albeit a little bland. The portion size was very small for the price.
My wife enjoyed her salmon teriyaki and salad.
I had their meatloaf sandwich, which was, frankly embarrassing. Again, the flavor was bland, but I mark that up as a matter of taste. The bigger problem was the small slice, about 1/4”, of meatloaf in the sandwich. Visualize a grilled cheese sandwich with a little ground beef thrown in. The final insult was the sandwich not being sliced in half, but closer to 4/5 and 1/5. Just careless preparation.
Throughout the night, our server was attentive, and the music was enjoyable.
I am rooting for local establishments like Brittingham’s, but the attention to detail and quality in the kitchen appears to need work.
Try the shrimp and grits.
Food and service were great, as always.
The vegetables had too much butter and the salmon would have been better without the sauce. I'd recommend having the sauce on the side.
It was our time at Brittingham's. The service was awesome!! The food was delicious! The atmosphere was perfect! We will be back!
What can I say, the restaurant is a hidden gem in the Lafayette Hills of Pa. The service was excellent, the ambiance was pretty and the food was great. I can't wait to go back.
The customer service was excellent. The food was delicious and reasonable. Me and wife went before the live music so noise level was not an issue. I’m glad we dined there and we definitely be back in the near future.
Place looked great. Wonderful food with great options. Had a seat at bar first, bartender was awesome. Server was wonderful too
Will definitely go back
Food and service is always great. Ate outside because it’s always so noisy inside.
