   We made a reservation for a party of 6 for after high school graduation, this reservation was made for 9:30pm. When graduation ran over I called to let them know I would be a few minutes late we arrived at 9:40. When we arrived the hostess told me "we close at 10, and your reservation was at 9" I responded by saying that my reservation was at 9:30 and that we had called to tell them we were running late. If they had told me that they closed at 10pm I would have gone somewhere else. Needless to say she seated us but said you have to order by 10pm because we have to shut everything down. Our waiter on the other hand was amazing, he told us to take our time not to rush and took great care of us. His service was great the hostess was rude and basically I felt like she was telling me to leave that they were closing. I think I spent $160.00 on dinner but I don't know if I will ever go back and I have been going there for a long time. If you close at 10 then don't take reservations for 9:30 that were made weeks ago, its obvious that you don't want people coming in for dinner a half hour before you close on a Friday night.

   A last minute find for dinner. We had Cobb salad, Salmon and Burger. All was very good. I would have expected higher costs given location on the river. Service was lower rating due to them being understaffed. Our waitress was excellent and very helpful but had a lot to do - don't hold against her. Location is perfect - sitting outside overlooking the river and downtown. A great deal for the money and recommend visiting.

   I wasn't sure when making my reservation that my fiance and I would be able to dine outdoors overlooking the river. I had requested an outside seat when making the reservation, but as they are first come first serve, I knew there was a chance that I might not get an outdoor table on a Friday night at 7pm. When we got there, we had a little wait to get seated (about 10-15 minutes), but it was well worth it because they got us an outdoor table overlooking the river. It was such a beautiful day. I was glad they were able to get us outside. It truly made the dining experience that much more enjoyable. Good food, good service, great views. Highly recommend and also highly suggest that if you want to sit outside, definitely indicate that when making your reservations.

   We love the atmosphere. Being able to look out and see the view of Cincinnati and people. Boating was awesome. Our server, Robby, was very attentive without hovering. He came back at the expected interval and was attentive to any need that we had. We will return most definitely.

    Check in was not smooth as hostess and another person were in disagreement on whether there were tables available in the area requested. The hostess rolled her eyes and was visibly upset. Waitress was spectacular (Holly H) with suggestions for our party as all were new to Buckheads. Cost of meal was well within reason. A good overall experience.

    We were able to sit outside and enjoyed the sunny day. Makayla was our server and she was fantastic, even brought over a large umbrella for the table when the sun got a bit intense. She checked in frequently to make sure we had everything that we needed and that we were comfortable. The food was delicious. My husband had his usual which is the fried chicken. This his favorite place to get chicken. We have always had a good experience at Buckheads.

    Our server made the experience exceptional I believe her name is Samanatha, long dark hair pulled back and she had invisi line on her teeth. It was wonderful to see this young bubbly woman having the best customer service I have seen in many many years!

    Our server was excellent. She took our drink and appetizer order right away and kept our drinks refilled. She was very friendly. The menu has great variety and the view by the river looking at Cincinnati is so pretty.

    Great Food, Great View, Excellent Casual dining experience. Price is a little high. Steaks and ribs were fantastic. Service wonderful. Nice to have a dedicated parking lot. Very handicap friendly access. Big deck. But, No cover for Sunny hot days.

    Three of our group were out of towners and we all enjoyed the food and drinks. We sat inside, but appreciated the view after dinner when we stepped out on the deck for the view of the river and Cincinnati skyline.

    We seem to have bad luck here every time we go. Service is always horrible. Our waitress was super nice, but it took forever for anyone to ask for our drinks, our order, bring out rolls; everything. Once we were finally finished eating, we felt like we were being held hostage just waiting to get the ticket to pay. Very difficult to do with two small children. We were there seated at our table for over an hour and a half. I love going for the view, but the service just isn’t worth it. Probably won’t be back.

    The salads and entrees (burger, rib eye) were good but not exceptional. The presentation could be improved. We had anice view of the Ohio River and the Cincinnati skyline. The food could be improved with more attention to detail.

    Our server was wonderful! The view was nice. The chicken was slightly dry and not a real piece of breast but a portion of the chicken. My husband’s salmon was over cooked. The rolls and side dishes were very good.
