Amazing good, great service!

Very good food but our server forgot to put in our order for an appetizer so our meal came first.

We've eaten here before Covid and enjoyed it every time - good food, ambiance and service!

The beat Marquita's in the city. We all had a different entree' and we all simply LOVED our food. We all said, boy we will be back again and again.

We know this place since many years and we like it. The location is very convenient with plenty of parking space around the area. When the weather permits, we like to sit outside but this time we had to stay indoors. They keep a good level of cleaning with sanitizers available, keeping the distance between tables and waiter using masks. The menu remains the same as before with the type of food that we like. Same with the wines available. Service was fast and prices affordable. We recommend this place.

Still a neighborhood foodie destination! They are very careful about COVID and adhered to all the rules and recommendations which I really appreciated. Always loved this place and the quality of their food and service has remained high. The Chile En Nogada was excellent for a starter. We then had the Bife De Chorizo and the Lubina and both were amazing. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately the traffic on 46th street is noisy, especially the motorcycles. We also had a table of loud girls behind us.

We didn't feel really safe due to COVID. The waiter came to our table many times standing close. In ordinary times this would have been appreciated.
The plastic covered menus were the same as always. Hopefully they were disinfected between each use.
People weren't seated 6 feet apart. The person seated behind me was was much less than 6 feet away.

This little gem has some of the best food in the city at very reasonable prices. We sat outside on the pleasant patio with social distancing. Service was a bit slow with only one server for several tables, but we didn't mind, as cost cutting is understandable these days. Overall a very good dining experience.

Cafe Ena is one of my favorite restaurants in the twin cities. The food is always fantastic and the price is very reasonable. I like the new renovations as well!

Food and service is always outstanding! And best margaritas & guac in town.

Seafood casserole and scallops were great. Bar drinks also. They manage separation and masks very well. We loved it.

Our best experience at Ena so far and we have known and visited Cafe Ena for many years. The menu was outstanding, service was impeccable and the wine selections amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed our date night there!

We have been meeting here every chance we get and love it! We are sorry to see the patio close for now. We are looking forward to next year!

Complex dishes, outstanding flavors, quaint location

The food is always wonderful. This time we really felt that our waiter was trying to hurry us along and was too invasive. We are aware that most restaurants want you to stay no more than 90 minutes and we honor that. From the start we felt like he was trying to get rid of us. This has never been the case at Cafe Ena before so hopefully he won’t last there.

Seemed to be to few servers who were trying to keep people happy, but there were a few mistakes. Food was acceptable nothing exceptional, both of our main dishes were a little salty. We had been there years ago, but don't plan to be back.

The drinks were the perfect start to a Saturday brunch. The Kingfield is perfection, not too sweet and great for an autumn day. The margarita was well-balanced between the tequila and lime juice.

The food was superb. The ceviche was not overwhelmed with acid but toned down with a creaminess, perhaps Mexican crema? The chilaquiles with chicken tinga and a perfectly cooked egg was delicious. But the star of the show was the cubano. The telera bread was divine: crispy on the outside from the griddle and soft on the inside. The homemade pickles, mustard and pickled onions were the exact balance for the richness of the shredded pork, smoked ham, and avocado. I didn’t think it was possible for a cubano to be light and delicate. Chef Hector knows what he’s doing.

Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and make great recommendations.

We love Cafe Ena and will happily keep returning.

Loved the outdoor patio, loved the food (especially the stuffed poblano pepper and the scallops!). Service was fantastic and also COVID-19 smart. We will definitely be back!

Ordered the steak. It was so tough I could not cut it with a knife. Very disappointing!

This was our first trip to Cafe Ena and we were very pleasantly surprised. The wait staff was exceptional. We asked for a drink not on the cocktail menu - no problem at all. The guacamole appetizer was beautiful and delicious. And the steak with chorizo was amazing. We all loved our food, drinks, and desserts. I will be back soon.

Food, service very good but dining outdoors during the day was very noisy with cars, trucks rushing by and construction across the street.

Cafe Ena is one of my favorite restaurants. Period. Always delicious, always reasonably priced, always good service. Operating outdoors during a pandemic is difficult tho. To be specific, my pork was a bit dry. My friends enchiladas were barely warm. Rerouted truck traffic made the noise level outside very difficult. [Not Ena’s fault, but . . .] Still one of my favorites and the problems I just blame on Trump!

We ate outdoors at Cafe Ena. The only noise was from street traffic and airplanes. The food was amazing! Beautiful presentation, delectable flavor combinations and large servings. Service is impeccable. We shall return!
