   Booked a table for december 26th and received confirmation. When we arrived they told us the restaurant was closed. And of course there was no other restaurant to be found on christmas day! Thanks for ruining our evening, absolutely disgusting!!

   Utterly disappointing experience...We booked here this year as we had a fantastic time with the family last year but boy was this a total disappointment this time. Food wasn't warm, some dishes came out quite cold, and the quality and presentation of all the courses this year was quite appalling. It was like the chef from last year was replaced with a totally amateur chef, or they just couldn't care less what was served. One of the dishes was a prawn risotto and all it came with was a half-cooked risotto with 1 prawn and a slice of octopus. The lady next to us was allergic to seafood and had hers returned and only replaced with a plate of plain risotto, nothing else! We complained to the waitress and also the manager, but all the manager did was to say she was sorry, and that was it. No offer of any compensation, nothing at all, an absolute disgrace of a team. We definitely weren't the only ones who felt the same way, the couple next to us and the table next to them were very disappointed too. Because of this very underwhelming experience, we're definitely not coming back here, nor would we be recommending this to anyone. A real shame as we were so looking forward to this based on our wonderful experience last year!

   Busy place, food was ok. Service was ok. Plenty of better Italian places now and they need to improve on food quality. We had the carbonara in the cheese wheel which was watered down too much and priced at £35 for two but charged us £36 for no apparent reason.

   Very lovely place along the Thames near Tower Bridge. Pasta carbonara in the giant cheese wheel was absolutely delicious. My friends other pasta dish was also great. Would definitely recommend

   Great location and a very tasty menu. We went at a quieter time so less of a buzz. Good overall - a small bugbear of mine - my Mum ordered a coke and it was one of those tiny bottles, almost less liquid than my glass of wine. Soft drinks should be a decent quantity. Food was terrific.

   We booked Cantina del Ponte to celebrate my 70th birthday with family. The staff were friendly and accommodating when my granddaughter had a particular request. Everyone agreed that the food was excellent. Most of us ate from the a la carte menu and prices were very reasonable. We will certainly eat here again when we are next in London.

    Went on the evening standard offer. 3 courses and a glass of wine for £25. Food very good, service lovely. Outside seating on a sunny day next to tower bridge, perfect lunch.

    My dearest friend had her 60th birthday earlier in the year and having planned two days in London to celebrate it together, as Londoners where is better than to have your meal by the Robert Thames looking at Tower Bridge? The food was very fresh and good quality Italian cuisine. Our waiter could not have been better and obviously took great pride in his job without being overbearing. It was a perfect way to finish two excruciatingly hot but special days in London.

    Great view sat outside with the sun setting behind tower bridge. The food was really well made and no complaints there. Unfortunately it took a long time for service, with only the outdoor area seating, we were sat for 25 minutes before anybody came over to even take a drinks order. Not great on a hot day

    Comida escasa, poca variedad y aunque el precio es inicialmente decente, poco adecuado a la calidad/cantidad del plato. Atención sin más: algo de vos y despistados, por lo que finalmente optamos por no tomar postre y cambiar de sitio. Lo único bueno son las vistas en la terraza.

    Lovely food and reasonable prices. Great location. Our hostess was great but the other waiter was a bit hard to catch for drinks order. Generally would come back again. Pasta and desserts were excellent.

    Very slow service and not what was ordered, although money was taken off the bill which was counteracted by the service charge which really wasn’t worth it. Tried it didn’t like it wouldn’t go again….

    Overall the restaurant was great except for my main seafood linguine which was a bit too salty. The highlight of the night was the surprise performance from the opera singers.

    We went for pre theatre dinner, so we had to be quick and so were unable to enjoy the location and ambiance fully. It was a little expensive for our needs on this occasion. The staff were very helpful but having agreed to provide a risotto as a starter, the waitress then forgot to action it so our friend waited for his starter for quite sometime. Otherwise, a pleasant meal in a great location . Perhaps a pre theatre menu would be an idea?

    This is my second time at Cantina del Ponte and its becoming one of my favourite restaurants. The food is amazing no matter what you order and the pasta in a cheese wheel is a whole experience!

    Our party enjoyed the food and atmosphere, however we were surprised by the fact that we are still dealing if a pandemic and Government advice is to wear masks, and the staff were not wearing mask at all, making us feel a bit vulnerable when they would come to our table to take orders and etc. We will make sure to go to a restaurant that follows guidance next time we plan a dinner.
