Capri Ristorante - Burr Ridge

We love Capri, the food is excellent. This time it seemed like people were overly eager to clear our plates, felt like we were being rushed.

I like this restaurant and would certainly go back. I think I caught them on an off night. Service was inattentive. I will be happy when they allow patrons back inside again, as the outdoor tent has all the ambience of a trailer park

First time tent dining. Much better than anticipated... in fact rather enjoyed the extra distancing

The food was very good. The sauce was like my wife’s which is very good. Seafood was fresh and the service was just the correct amount.

Capris service and quality of food is always consistent and very good.

Wonderful atmosphere amazing food and drinks!

We dined at Capri for my birthday and had a wonderful meal. The only detractor was eating in a tent which right now is what restaurants feel they have to do. However, I felt they did a great job of making the tent warm, nicely decorated and roomy. The server was friendly and accommodating. She didn’t rush us nor did she leave us waiting for long periods of time between courses. The food was amazing!! My husband had eggplant parmigiana which melted in my mouth. I had chicken vesuvio which was perfect! The meal fairly priced for the quality of food. This was our first time there and we will definitely eat there again!

My stuffed mushrooms were a little too dry. My linguini with shrimp in a marinara sauce was very good. The service was excellent.

Beautiful atmosphere

The steps they have taken during the pandemic have been favorable. Unfortunately, on our last visit the server wore her mask under her nose. It was uncomfortable being in such close proximity and having things brought to our table by someone who was not adhering to safe mask protocols.

Capri by Gigi is our all time favorite! We are so happy that they have been able to survive the pandemic and offer outdoor dining in their fabulous tent set up!

Always one of our favorite spots! Excellent food, exceptional service, beautifully decorated- even the tent due to COVID is decorated to feel like the indoors. Capri by GiGi is top-shelf all the way. I’ve never had a less-than-spectacular experience there!

Elton, best server we’ve had in a while. Passionate, on point, and hilarious. Will be back and will ask for Elton again. Great food better service.

New Years eve

We have a new tradition for New Years and that is Capri. The food was delicious and the service amazing as always. Diego was a spectacular server and did not make us feel rushed. He was patient with our questions and gave fabulous recommendations.

Top of my eggplant parmigiana was burnt (black). Instead of remaking it, they covered it with sauce and cheese and served it! Was able to remove top layer but the rest had a bad off-taste. Very disappointed by such sloppy service from the kitchen of what has been a decent restaurant in the past.

Mo was great. I have not had him as a waiter before at Capri but he continued to practice the Capri way! He was phenomenal and truly enjoyed our meal.

Celebrated the holidays with members of our team. Attentive, friendly and engaging service, and the food was excellent. A big shout out to Derrick and team for taking such great care of us!
