Carmine's - Las Vegas

Good food and ambience. Service we got is mediocre. Advertised brunch is no longer available.

It was a horrible experience. Rushed limited menu n horrible experience over all especially as it was my bday. Las Vegas Carmines is a NO for me.

We had 5 in our party and had to sit apart and yell back and forth, couldn’t share the family style dining. Covid rules I understand, however when you have room in the restaurant, there should be no reason to have to sit apart. Also the food was under par. My drink tasted aweful and our salad was taken to another table and then brought to us....so if COVID-19 rules apply to seating, how is that better than 5 sitting together? A salad plate that had been placed before others on another table, then brought to us......also the pasta sauce wasn’t tasteful, tasted like it came out of a can. By far the last time we will eat there, have eaten there many times before on our Vegas trips..not anymore though.

Great experience! The food portions were HUGE! The garlic parmigiana bread was an entire loaf!

Entry:
Located inside Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace. They have terrace seating if you're into people watching or inside seating available.

Atmosphere:
The ambience is comfortable. They have thousands of framed photos on the walls and amazingly ALL of them are completely straight! Very aesthetically pleasing for those of us with OCD. :)

Service:
Service was wonderful. Not overly attentive but whenever we needed something a waitstaff was nearby and immediately responsive. They were all friendly and professional.

Food & Drink:
We skipped appetizers this time but all of our entrees were wonderful! FAIR WARNING: The portions are all family style, so if you plan to order an entrée by yourself then plan to take home leftovers. The lasagna was very good. Not overly flavorful but good. The lemon chicken picata with creamed spinach base was tender and juicy and delicious. One of the better ones we've had. They bring bread before dinner but it's cold, which is odd for an Italian restaurant. The lemon drop martini was 5 star! Bread should always be warm.

Overall:
Overall around a 4.2 star experience. For the price point it doesn't really compare to the quality of other high end Italian places on the strip but a great place to take the family that doesn't really break the budget. The ambience could be a bit darker and subtle. The bread definitely needs to be warmed. Other than that a great experience.

Excellent food and service! Was pleasantly surprised. Food prices are not a bargain as this platform rates the restaurant, and is your typical Vegas price point.

I would have given this five stars but the bread was served cold. Maybe this is normal or maybe it was just ours. Not sure but this is the first restaurant I’ve been to that didn’t serve Warm bread. Otherwise the food was delicious and drinks weren’t watered down! Service was great and the ambiance was fairly quiet given the open nature of the restaurant.

Carmine's off who's the best value on the Las Vegas strip but you had better plan ahead because you'll have leftovers from your leftovers - big portions!

For the money I paid the food had no good flavor. The chicken sucked. The pasta didn't even taste garlicky. Overall super disappointed.

The experience was different from my experience in NYC at Carmines. The food was ok, again it wasn’t like my experience on NYC.

Great service and great food. We went back the next night to enjoy it again.

This place was amazing! Family style eating. Just like in Italy! We ordered one appetizer and two entrees for the table, for four people. It was PLENTY!! And soooo delicious. Highly recommend coming here. It’s near the forum shops.

Great service by waitstaff and management

One server for 9 tables. Service was slow. Had to ask for bread. Then when the bread was brought had to ask for the oil and vinegar. When that was brought had to ask for a plate to poor it on. When the food finally came out it was cold.

Go hungry. If its just a party for two split a single dish and salad. The Penne al la Vodka is our favorite.

Dinner was great and loved the atmosphere. We will definitely come back in the future.

Carmines is always excellent. The food is amazing and the staff is always very knowledgeable and on point.

Un lugar increíble, la comida deliciosa y súper vasta. El servicio fue muy bueno, a pesar de que ya no alcanzamos pan para degustar nuestras pastas😔. Pero recibimos el 2021 ahí, en familia y fue increíble, la ubicación de la mesa estuvo excelente. En verdad lo recomiendo mucho
