Carpaccio Restaurant & Wine Bar
We were visiting the Niagara Falls, and found this restaurant from opentable. Gave it a try, and it’s was great. Food were delicious and service was great, friendly staff. Good place for lunch or dinner gathering.
Fantastic place, great service, great food. A absolutely must go to if looking for Italian in the area.
We were sat at table in corner for our reservation; server was surprised that table dis not have any plates or cutlery, and we hadn’t been given menus. Took another 10-15 min to address that. After that service was ok. Asked for light sauce on my meal, but came drenched in red tomato sauce, and so had to scrap off. Don’t ask for gluten free pasta, as they overcooked to almost mush ... pizza was ok, veal and chicken parm was ok... did not address our special occasion of 2 birthdays. This was our 4th time in 5 yrs at Carpaccio and probably our worst experience.
THE WORST SERVICE EVER. The manager new but did or said nothing just shrugged his shoulder. Seemed like he didn't care, PRETTY SAD
Food and service were excellent. Carpaccio and pizza were delicious.
We really enjoyed our meal. The three course dinner was a great value...the lambs shanks were delicious. Our booth setting felt very accommodating for conversation.
Waiter was very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious and large servings, excellent wine list.
Had asked for a special request that the staff did wonderfully.
Nice atmosphere, and service but I’ve had better food
I asked for a nice quite spot so we could talk and not be interrupted and that is exactly what we received. Chelsea did a fantastic job of serving us and please thank her again on our behalf. The food as always was amazing and yes we will be back.
We have been to many Italian restaurants and this one was inferior. The food was not to my liking. The antipasto vegetables were so pickled I could not eat them. My pasta was not al dente and the seafood was of inferior quality and not fresh. The server half spilled my meal on my sweater. I was offered a dirty rag to clean myself with. I asked for the wine to be free for this atrocity but was ignored. I will never go back.
Brought me out a cheesecake slice that said happy birthday!
Sparse diners and we still had terrible service. Saw our waitress twice. Someone else brought food and we never saw waitress again. At the end of the night we had dirty plates, empty glasses, no chance to order dessert or after dinner drinks. Had to flag down another server for check. Food ok, but overall experience disappointing.
Danny took care of us with a great table, after a very long day of tours.
Very nice ambience and good Italian food! I used to live in Italy and am an Italian citizen, and felt that the pasta/sauce were pretty authentic!
My family and I came in from out of town. I was looking for a place to celebrate my son's birthday that was not "touristy". I chose this based on the other reviews. We were not disappointed. Service was a little slow at first, but that wasn't all bad. We never felt rushed and were able to enjoy our drinks and appetizers before our main course arrived. At the last minute I remembered to include in our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, but never said anything once we arrived. To our surprise our waiter presented our 9 year old with a slice of cheesecake complete with a candle and "Happy Birthday" writen on the tray!
We waited 15 minutes for water. Our entree came 45 minutes after that.
The chicken parmigiana was great. The chicken was cooked perfectly...light crispy coating, tender and moist inside. And served piping hot. The pasta was al dente. The sauce was a bit sweet for my taste, but excellent.
The service was a bit slow and our server seemed aloof, but not terrible.
Overall, worthwhile. Will go again.
We have dined at Carpaccio on many occasions and find the food and service to be consistently good. It is one of our favourite restaurants in Niagara Falls and we would not hesitate in recommending it to friends and family.
We have been to this restaurant 3 times in the past year. It has always been great. This time our waiter, who was personable and friendly did not provide us the specials like I heard other wait staff giving customers. We were celebrating our Anniversary and after we paid the bill, the manager came by and asked us if we were OK. We told him we were celebrating out Anniversary. He asked if it was acknowledged and we said no one said anything. (We wrote it in the comments section of the OPEN TABLE reservation) He told us to stay for a minute and brought out a board with a cheese cake on it. Danny was his name. That was good customer service! Our waiter could have done better and someone should have checked our reservation.
We went out for my birthday not knowing on Tuesdays it was date night. The service was absolutely wonderful. Our waiter was so polite helpful and courteous. Always checking in on us I believe his name was Joe. I would definitely recommend dining there and sit in his section again. The overall experience was wonderful from start to finish!
date night special is an excellent choice; good food, good wine, great company
Great evening out with my husband. Can get a little loud but overall we were very happy with the evening
Phenomenal food, friendly staff, wonderful evening
Don’t order any drinks. Food was great. Presentation and taste was fantastic. DRINKS however, was not good. Whiskey sour was too watered down. The Limoncello sour was syrupy sweet.
I definitely will come back here for food, but will skip the drinks.
Excellent meal - very fine antipasto board for 2, nice selection and good quantity. Good carpaccio (beets) and lamb (+ much more) risotto. Good bottle of Niagara Baco Noir not too expensive. A very nice experience.
Terrific as usual. Thanks for a great local place where we can reconnect over a well made meal.
We were visiting Niagra Falls and asked around for an Italian restaurant. Carpaccio's was recommended. The service was excellent as well as the food. I thought the prices were a bit high, but then when asked if we drove and I told them we took a cab, they offered us a cab ride back to the Hilton. I thought that was a nice jesture.
Service super friendly, pleasant atmosphere. The staff always checking to make sure all was good.
As an Italian I found the food unauthentic in taste. The pasta sauce and pasta selections were to bland. The pizza ( artichoke arugula ) had no flavour and was dry. Calamari should be served with a marinara sauce in an Italian restaurant and not Thai sauce. Bread should be on table with appetizers.
I would have liked to have seen a bigger variety in pastas, like pasta Gigi, lasagna, canaloni, linguini and clams......
And our waitress Easton was wonderful!
The place is nice and quiet in the back and that is what I asked for. Job well done by all the staff. I have already booked a return trip there. When you walk in the front door, why are we always taken to the right, why can’t we sit to the left side of the wine bottles.
Cathy food is very palatable; food is served hot; the entire experience was very enjoyable and consistent with previous visits.
This is a great spot on Lundy’s lane. It has modern and stylish decor inside and a great patio with fireplaces. Appetizers are approx $10-15 each, pastas and pizza $15-24, and mains $20-30 - this is an AMAZING price for Niagara Falls area! Food was good. I
Recommend the calamari and arancini appetizers.
Tip: Just want to point out that this isn’t a fast serviced place, so don’t expect to pop in for a quick 45 min dinner. We were there for approx 3 hours, for a group of 12 (only ate appetizers and Mains, no desserts)
Loved the ambiance, my busband had the salmon and I had the stuffed chicken, both were very good! Loved our dessert, fried bread pudding with Lindt chocolate and ice cream and chocolate brownie with whipped cream. Would definately go back!
Excellent and very abundant food, service and ambience. Will definitely go back next time when in Niagara Falls and recommend to family and friends.
The pizza was delicious and the gnocci melt in your mouth and our server was very pleasant and attentive! Great place!
We love this restaurant
Food is always amazing every time we visit. It is our Go To when we visit Niagara Falls
Met all our expectations and was a great evening out.
Everything was great but the bruchetta was not the same as other times we have. We bring others with us all the time. We prefer bruchetta when it's done on baguette not on toast and with the cheese and balsamic glaze.
It was a Birthday celebration and everyone was happy ...the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious 😊
Our first tine there- excellent food and service- would definitely go back again
