Chop serves amazing food, especially the steak. If you are new to Chop and not sure you want to spend a little more for quality food, go during their weekday happy hour between 3-6pm. They have half price glasses of wine and discounted appetizers. And, this applies to all of their wines, which is an amazing selection! If you are into beer, they have some on tap, including two craft brews of their own which are quite good. You can order steak bites and fries for your appetizers to test out their food. Happy hour is when you'll find me there!

We were sad to see that the restaurant was almost empty but understandable due to COVID occupancy rules. Food was really good and we will be back.

Food was amazing. Music was distracting and far too loud.
Sat with dirty dishes on our table for far too long. Probably 20 minutes. Drinks went dry. Perhaps restaurant was understaffed. Server apologized and was overall very efficient and pleasant. We will be back.

We made our very first visit to Chop on December 12 for my birthday. It was a very pleasant surprise to feel completely comfortable in our booth during this time. The music was soft so we could talk without effort. Everything about our meal was fabulous. It was delish. I enjoyed the complimentary dessert. And our young waitress was a gem. We will definitely be back. Stay safe!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Chop. The server was friendly and pleasant and the food was spectacular. I would have given the food 5 stars but the mushrooms were too peppery. All Covid protocols were followed and the restaurant was spotless.

Happy Hour food & drinks are good value here with steak bites and shrimp....just wish they would do it more medium than well done. Even after asking for them with my chop salad at full price they are still over done. The salads here are great! Like it with ranch dressing instead but on the side as it comes sometimes with too much for me. Caesar salad is great with bacon and a piece of grilled toast.

We made reservations for the last minute. We were able to get in. Service was fantastic. Milo was our server in london ontario. I had the scallops and my husband had the hamburger. Really tasty. I would definitely go again.

First time going here, but we’ll definitely be back! Beautiful interior, amazing staff and great service. We started with the escargot (as we often do when it’s on a menu) and we both agreed it was the best one we’ve ever had!
We both ordered the 7 oz sirloin. Perfect cool on the medium rare. They gave us the option to substitute the seasonal vegetables for either mushrooms or asparagus (which we both did and there was more than enough to share). Lots of variety on the menu and something for everyone!
Just a really enjoyable meal and night out.

The server came to us with a sigh.
The side dishes were so small, the plates were so empty. I used to go there a lot, and usually you don’t feel empty and depressed.
We don’t think those dishes worth the money.

My boyfriend and I came here for his birthday dinner on Monday (November 30th) and it was absolutely amazing. Food, Service, Atmosphere were all exactly what we were looking for. Our waitress was amazing, and had wonderful suggestions. We enjoyed every part of our meals and are planning on coming back December 16th to celebrate our 4th anniversary. We can’t wait to share another amazing meal together at Chop!

Our whole evening was incredible! The food (filet and strip loin were amazing. Our escargot was perfect!), the drinks (Meredith makes amazing whiskey sours and cosmos!), and the wine was great! The bar manager worked with me to find a glass of wine to fit my wants and even made one available by the glass for me that typically isn’t available.
Our birthdays were celebrated and we couldn’t have asked for more!
We will be back over and over!

But i ordered $46 bone in ribeye which was very hard and over spiced and over cooked(no pink color inside)... last time we went on October 8 2020 and it was way better and juicy than this time... i couldn't taste the good steak meat

Steak was great! As well as the dip and crab cake appetizers. Server was very friendly and covid protocols were being followed.

I had Lunch with a customer and the staff was very understanding that we took a while to order. They were really nice and even took the time to talk with us. When we finally ordered the meal came quickly. I was happy with everything and I would certainly return next time that I am in the area

Overall the food was delicious, and the waitress was quite fast, I found the steak to be a bit undercooked for a medium cook but as side from that it was great.

Very nice restaurant but there is no way they were practicing social distancing wit every booth being used

If you like unimaginative techno pop music played loudly, inattentive service and expensive mediocre fare then this place is great. I won't go into the minutiae of the meal, lets just say it was unimpressive. There isn't any talent in the kitchen. Period. This is a steak place and the kitchen cannot produce a medium rare 7oz filet? Asparagus that is cooked to the point of surrender and a baked potato that looked like they were rationing out butter, sour cream and green onion. Pepper comes in a shaker and salt is run of the mill table salt, kind of hoping for sea salt and perhaps a pepper grinder?? I know, its a picky thing, but when dinner for three without appetizers or desert, one glass of house wine, one martini and one draft beer runs to $200 I want fresh ground pepper and some damn sea salt. Service is amateur at best, it is obvious they do not train staff beyond the obvious. We would have had a second bottle of mineral water and appetizers, but our server forgot we ordered the appetizers and never seemed to find a moment to bring us more water. I wasn't going to write this, but you asked so here it is. We were in London for business and tired of sandwiches and take out. We went to Chop Steakhouse because the layout of this restaurant for covid inside dining is excellent. They are using every other booth or table, limited seating at the bar so there is ample space and staff are masked and observe proper protocols.

The crab cakes were overcooked. The 40 day steak was not worth the money. Overall I think it is overpriced for the value/taste of the food.

Our experience during the lunch hour was quite pleasant.
Our host was welcoming, and we chose to eat on the patio; which was tastefully decorated, and comfortable, and although there was an open wall to the outdoors, we were adequately protected from the elements.
The physical distancing from any other patrons was appropriate. The volume level was perfect for conversation. The menu offered a good variety of flavourful food choices.
I like to try specials that a restaurant offers, and it would have been nice to have that option; but perhaps Covid has had a negative impact on that.
All in all it was quite an enjoyable lunch; delicious food at a good value, in a relaxing atmosphere, and I will indeed visit again.
