Our server, John, was a great representation of chophouse 47 service- comfortable, conscientious, and knowledgeable. The food was perfectly prepared and delicious! We visit this restaurant on every trip to Greenville. Thank you for years of great food and wonderful service!

We love Chophouse! I think they may still be struggling with the beef shortage. The bone in ribeye did not live up to the past. Filets were good and was the trout.

First time there everything was great from start to finish

My wife and celebrated our 31 wedding anniversary as we have done in the past. The service has always been great but for this particular night, we had an outstanding service from the person who took our order. His name is John. The attention we received from him deserves to be recognized. He was a professional and mannered individual. Chop House should feel privileged for having a person of this caliber. Over an hour wait for raw steak ordered medium plus with scrambled eggs similar to powdered eggs. A steakhouse serving brunch 3X year-maybe not a good idea.

Great food, terrible service! I am not sure how the management cannot find professional wait staff. Our waiter at Easter brunch was just plain bad at his job. I have gotten better service at Chilis! We sit down and wait, and wait and wait just to be greeted and give our drink orders. A bread cart comes by and basically tosses a loaf on the table and breezes by. I said thank you, and i think I heard him say 'whatever'. No bread plates, no silverware, no drinks. We waited 5 minutes for our waiter to come back, and I had to ask for bread plates and silverware. He returned fairly promptly with the plates, and put all four on the corner of the table and left. I said loudly "and forks", he really didn't like that responding with a shrug. He brought the four napkin wrapped sets and again just set them on the corner of the table and left, not even looking at us. We all looked at each other and knew this would not be the level of service we had expected. Drink refills were slow, the food took forever (but tasted great) and finally the waiter got the check wrong. I used to dine at CH47 weekly, but now limit it to special occasions. I hope the management reads this and re-trains Andrew on how to improve his 'skills'. All four of us left disappointed...

Consistently great food. It's a top-end steakhouse that never disappoints.

It is one of the louder dining rooms I've been in but I'm here for the food. It's worth having to speak up when describing the awesomeness of your food.

Go once and you'll want to make this reservation at least once s quarter. Recommend without hesitation.

Chophouse 47 is hard to beat. It's our go to for a nice dinner out. I always think of trying different places but then I'm disappointed if I do. Its always reliable with great food and service.

Best place on the planet. If i died and went to chophouse instead of heaven, i’d be cool with that. Extreme professionalism and great atmosphere. Need a bigger cocktail/martini list however; halls chophouse in downtown greenville has a bigger selection of assorted drinks.....

If you want Instant mash potatoes baked with cheese on top and frozen spinach with a good steak then this is your place. Sides were awful.

Flavorful steak cooked perfectly. Table side service of wedge salad and baked potato provided too little toppings for our taste, which was easily fixed with more dressing and sour cream. Huge button mushrooms in the sautéed mushroom side were cut into big chunks and weren’t quite cooked through. Butter cake was to die for!

I have been coming here for years and this is the first time I have ever had an issue. Asked for Delmonico Med. Rare and it came our very rare. they took it back and it came back over cooked. I did not complain the second time. But will just say they were having a bad night and hope next time it is 100% right to begin with

Still a solid choice for a special night out and for those looking for the old fashion Manhattan of Chicago Loop white tablecloth restaurant in the South. Need to work on their "Classic" Caesar Salad construction and presentation.

We had a fabulous experience! Our waiter was very personable, and food, as always, was phenomenal. The butter cake is a must! We will definitely be back!!

Very busy this evening. Sat at bar for dinner. 1 diner was quite loud and boisterous. There were some glitches with service tonight. First, service was slow. I requested peanuts together with a drink prior to my meal. The peanuts never arrived. I ordered the beefsteak tomatoes/onions to arrive prior to my steak and the steak arrived unaccompanied. They then arrived promptly after informing the server who delivered the steak.
Fortunately the main attraction, the food, was excellent. The filet was flavorful, tender, and perfectly cooked. Bread was served warm and fresh.
Such things happen and I would return again. These particular events seemed to be a function of one of the bartender/servers being distracted by the antics of a patron.
For those concerned about Covid safety, there was no spacing of seating at the bar. All seats were filled. There was some spacing of tables in the main restaurant, however.

Fast service and accommodating to food allergies! It was wonderful.

If you are thinking about visiting Chophouse 47, DO IT!! From the food to ambience to the quick service, I loved every minute of it. The wines are very strong and smooth and the food is so tasty. I had steak, I can't remember the name of it but it wasn't on the menu but was a special which was told to us by our waitress. It was so tender, you didn't need any steak sauce with it. I had the crab cakes which was delicious and fulfilling. The staff was very attentive and gave you everything you needed. You literally don't lift a finger except to eat your food because they do everything for you such as replacing silverware and preparing your baked potato. And for dessert, cheesecake imported from NYC, you can't get any better than that. The only thing I had a problem with was how close the tables in dining room were. We were seated at a table that was in the middle of the dining room near the kitchen and when the waiters were bring the food out on the rolling tray or walk past our table they kept hitting the back of my chair. It almost felt like I was getting whiplash from it. They did apologize but maybe that table needs to be out of the way so it could be smooth for them to move around. That didn't make the experience bad but just would like not getting bumped around in my chair while trying to enjoy dinner!

Chophouse 47 is always a nice dinner. Steaks and sides were delicious. Loved the addition of broccolini as a side. Our server Shawn was great as always. Very attentive.

Wayover priced for what you get. Cannot say the food was bad per say, But definitely was not worth the price. When you order a Caesar salad that’s the house Cesar it shouldn’t just come on a plate and then split tableside for two people. It should be prepared tableside. Definitely not up to the par true high-end restaurants.
