Christos Steak House

Steak was very good, sides were good but not great.

The food and the service was spectacular.

Such good steak and sides, mashed potatoes were the BEST, also some amazing creamed spinach and Mac n cheese. Would also recommend the Caesar salad and the bacon :)

We’re having Birthday dinner for our boys. It was great experience overall, especially, the even throwing dessert for the birthday boys.
It just the waiter could’ve been better.

Wonderful food. Wonderful service. :) The waiter was attentive and even gave us free creme brûlée. Delicious! Can’t wait to go back.

Outrageous!!! Everything we had was so outstanding, I was bowled over. We started with saganaki (flamed cheese with brandy), Greek spreads with grilled pita and followed with their special dinner for two! We had the filet mignon, 2 lb lobster which comes with two salads AND two sides! The vodka gimlets were superb! Loved everything!

Good is great, so is the service. In my opinion a little over priced

Christos was amazing , the food was delicious and the staff was great with accommodating us.

The food was great, and we loved the ambience. If you love your steaks with a slight char on the edges this is the place to go. Ambience was quiet with good lighting. The place was also very clean. Bathrooms were stocked with plenty of soap & tissues. Outside seating is also available. I will be coming here in the future. Thank you Christos for a nice birthday dinner!

The best steak and service you’ll have in nyc. Really.

We had a great time at Christos with our friends whom we have not seen in awhile. None of us was very hungry so we opted to share the porter house for two and several sides. When the steak came out we were very surprised by the generous portion! It was more than enough for four. The service was also very good and we had a thoroughly great evening.

Great food and good wine. Nice to eat at a top quality restaurant again.

Christie is our favorite date night restaurant in Astoria when we want a nice meal! The service, welcoming environment, and amazing food keep us coming back!

Great Restaurant. Our first time there . We wanted outdoor seating so obviously the noise lever was what I expected.

The Porterhouse Steak, appetizers, sides and desserts were superb. We had a wonderful waiter...he was attentive and made excellent suggestions on selections when we asked for recommendations. Hope to come back again soon!

The food here is always amazing, you can’t go wrong

I've always loved this restaurant and due to COVID had not been able to go for awhile . The food was a bit disappointing, not sure if they have been open during COVID. The dining room was nice as usual and tables spaced apart as required.

Disappointments: We order the arugula salad with feta and figs. There were two dried figs cut in half and no sign of the feta cheese. The grilled octopus was very however we did not realizing the octopus was served over a bed of arugula, with tomatoes and roasted peppers . So we had a lot of salad for two people, it would have been helpful if the waiter provided some advice. The charred broccoli was tasty and may have been charred at some point but seemed reheated so the texture was more like sautéed or slightly steamed. Selection of desserts were disappointing, no greek options except for the yogurt.

Saganaki, Wedge steak for two and greek white wine were good. Will go back and give it another chance

First meal out with family post covid, fantastic time. Will be back soon.

Amazing food and staff! Food was timed perfectly nothing came to the table cold and our waiter Mohammed was phenomenal

The evening was going fine, staff was courteous and management very engaging. I loved how they checked in to make sure we were satisfied. e completed our payment but the waiter who brought our bill to us wasn’t the waiter who picked it up. What confusion this created. We were accused of giving back a empty folder with no receipt or payment. The manager came out and apologized for the confusion and miscommunication however, it didn’t make us feel good especially as African Americans !!!!!!
Manager please put a process in place that would avoid false accusations. Other than that, it was awesome!!!’

Great service. Great food. The garlic mashed potatoes are a revelation!

Best steak anywhere! The lobster mashed potatoes came in a lobster shell, and the chocolate lave cake was phenomenal!

You would be hard pressed to find a better steak in New York. I have lived in the city for nearly 25 years and have eaten at many of the best steak houses in town. This is definitely an equal to the finest here.

Also the experience wasn’t diminished by Covid protocols as they have provided great atmosphere with their outdoor dining. I just can’t recommend Christos enough.

The food is wonderful. The service was very poor, mainly because the staff were poorly trained. The servers were very nice, but....

The value for your money is phenomenal! We had an amazing meal for two for our anniversary and we'll absolutely be back. The service was wonderful and the food was excellent.

This is the third year in a row celebrating a birthday at Christos Steak House. Despite this year being an unusual one, Christos took the necessary safety precautions to make us feel comfortable at our first outdoor dining experience in New York City since COVID. The food never disappoints and we are allowed to dine at our own pace, not rushed. We will continue to celebrate special events at Chrisos Steak House.

Crystals did a great job servicing us having to take social distancing and outdoor dining restrictions into account. We will be back to Christos!
