Excellent spot. No crowds because of the Coronavirus. Normally very busy on a Saturday.
Lovely as always!
I called 2 weeks in advance to make a reservation and requested a rooftop table, which they confirmed. But when we got there, they gave us a corner table on the first floor, saying that there was a private party booked a month ago. This was quite disappointing, as it was our anniversary dinner and I was looking forward to the romantic views. Nevertheless, the food was great. We got the 3 for 16 cicchetti and they were all delicious. We had the ginger lime creme brulee for dessert, and that was one of the best creme brulees I've ever had! Overall, we had a nice, quiet date night with good food and drinks.
Parking was challenging but found place on side street. But I found out the hard way the street parking off Eastlake is by permit only and cost me a parking ticket. Obviously I did not see the sign.
Food and service were great, but main dish was a bit too salty for our tastes. Will return again!
The customer service was great. There must have been some issues in the kitchen because it took about 50 minutes between 1st course and 2nd course. The 2nd course was cold and had to send back to reheat. The food tasted really good after they resolved the issues. Overall, I was a little disappointed considering their reputation. I would go back to see if it was a fluke though. Great customer service overall.
Food was not on par with my previous visits to Cicchetti, although wine was excellent. Guess because they were very busy with Valentine day. Good overall experience anyway
We went there on Valentine’s Day evening. The bar tender, and later the waiter did their best. Unfortunately the meal overall was my a good experience due to the time it took to be served. Between the fixes menu courses, we asked given the time it was taking. We eventually asked for our desserts to be packed To Go.
Despite the great reputation, we regretfully didn’t share that experience
Went to the restaurant for Valentine’s Day and it was lovely. Best service, delicious food, and amazing energy. Looking forward to the next time we visit.
Went for Valentines Day. The restaurant was fine, enjoyable. Staff very nice, but the food was not good. Had a set menu for VDay but felt the options weren’t the best. Had the oysters which were just two of them and they were pretty small (but the best thing I had all night) second course was a tagliatelle with cheese and pork. Pasta under cooked, flavors did not match, pasta was an oily mess. Main course was short rib, so salty I ate a couple bites and gave up. Desert was eh. The overall menu was just too heavy and nothing was that appetizing. Will not return.
Great food, great value, good ambiance. Server not most knowledgeable on menu items and wines, but that's a bourgeois criticism that I disgust myself for noticing. Awesome time!
Jerry has waited on is a couple of times and remembered us. He was absolutely the best! My lamb shank was a bit tough and that was disappointing. I expected it to fall off the bone and it didn’t. Jerry offered another entree and I decided I didn’t want to waste the time. He comped our desserts which was nice and this made up for the poor entree
It is a good space for groups. I've been there many times for business meals. Unfortunately, service declines with time. It starts out great and then they forget you after they bring the meal and the gap between every-time they check-in with you goes up. The small plates course was great and then we waited 30 minutes after before they got our entree order and then again 45 minutes before entree was delivered. Also despite having a reservation via open table they did not have a table ready for us. So we started the meal at 6:40pm and ended at 9:30pm. My group of 5 people were tired by the end. With prompt service, they can achieve a lot more. I usually take all my business meals there, i need to find another spot.
Just don’t order the pesto pasta, bland and all green with no color or texture.
Grape leaves were tough.
French fries were just ordinary.
Excellent-food, service, ambiance was very good
Great food, excellent personnel, not too loud, just perfect. I would come back for sure. Beth was our server (I think that was her name) and she was super helpful. A+ all-around.
First time eating here, have eaten at Serafinas multiple times and thought we would try something different. The food and service was good. I had mentioned that it was a “special occasion”- our anniversary-when I booked. When I have done this in the past at other restaurants we at least had gotten a “Happy Anniversary” or even a complementary drink or dessert. Not only did we not hear a thing, we got put at a table right by the kitchen where the servers stood plating desserts for a large group upstairs and singing and clanging plates while they did so. Otherwise we enjoyed the meal. Little things matter.
We had the best dinner at Cicchetti. The food was absolutely delicious and we had great service. Our waitress was really good and recommended a fabulous wine. We eat at Cicchetti occasionally but we have decided to eat there more often.
New Year’s Eve.
The restaurant was really nice, food great, service awesome but they sat us in the worst cramped little table in the back, scrunched along the wall. There were plenty of seats available in a much more comfortable location I don’t know why, maybe because we scheduled on Opentable?
Dinner was a lovely experience with warm service and outs
Our first visit to Cicchetti was met with excellent service, wonderful dishes and an appetite to return.
The service was great but the food was a bit too seasoned for our party of 4.
Great meal and good value. Very nice views of the City from upstairs.
Food was absolutely delicious! Ambiance was great, it just happened to be a really cold night and sitting next to the front door kept me cold too.
A memorable evening! Loved the apps, short rib meal and wine! Spicy which we loved. We got an upstairs table with a view of the Seattle Skyline on a rainy night.
Love the food .. tasty Mediterranean with NW ingredients!!
Everything was great but portions are small
There were four of us total and we had a very nice time. Our server was excellent as was the rest of the staff from the moment we walked in until we left. We sat upstairs against the window. Really nice. Great cocktail list!! A lot of food that is not served in other restaurants (this is a good thing).
Cicchetti always impresses with interesting and off-the-beaten path menu items and wonderful wine list. We went for Restaurant Week and I never felt we were offered anything less than their high standard best. Service is way above average for Seattle, where professionalism can be spotty even in fine-dining establishments. It can be hard to find the balance between cloying, performative intrusiveness and inattentive. The crew at Cicchetti, is very "on point". They have a somewhat cramped house to deal with and seem to be everywhere right when you need them. Our waiter had excellent menu knowledge and a great feel for pairings. Both servers were attentive without hovering; engaging without being intrusive. This is an art. They practice it well at Cicchetti.
Delicious food, great atmosphere and fantastic staff!
We just returned from a trip to Italy in September and had fallen in love with the Venetian tradition of the Cicchetti. Amazing small bites for purchase along with your drink.
So when we got home and saw an article about this place we had to go. They did not disappoint!
Campari and Aperol spritzes were delicious, although a little on the spendy side. The food was the best part though. Fried sardines and figs with chorizo. We will definitely go back here again.
Love this restaurant. That is all that needs to be said.
We went to Cicchetti on a guess, not having been there before. We found the service, atmosphere and good food to be outstanding. It was a great evening. 👍
Wonderful dinner out on the deck. Great waiter with just the right amount of attention
Wish I could give it 6 stars! We had a wonderful time and will be bringing family here to eat when they come to visit.
Wonderful food, ambience and service.
The wine list is reasonable. We had a bottle of Chateau Pierre-Bise Cremant for $54.00 and it was excellent, about as good as "real" champagne. Mixed drinks also well done for reasonable price. Highly recommend the Cicchetti Trio for appetizer, great to share for 2-4 people, especially the stuffed dates, the lamb dolmathes and the olives. The watermelon salad and the short ribs were spectacular. The pasta dishes were very good but not as special. The creme brulee for dessert was great. We were 4 friends out to dinner together and had an all round great time.
Excellent food, and very helpful knowledgable waiter, Alex.
Excellent service and food. Had a great evening!
I would say that since we sat on the patio the noise level was fine but if we had been inside it would have been way too noisy
