Great service. Our server anticipated our needs and was extremely attentive without hovering. Food was also great. The salmon, in particular, was excellent and the shrimp cakes were also good. Can't wait to go back.
The food was good and so was the service.
Great food, expertly prepared, with friendly and attentive service.
Service by non-English-Speaking unsophisticated servers was absurd! The three of us could not get our orders understood without showing the menu text for transcription, no requests were understood, i.e. could we please have some more water? multiple times, utensils were spirited away, but dirty plates were left; one of my guests had to request a container to go multiple times, and the server was going to throw her food away; my ice cream came in hot dishes melted with no spoon ("You want a SPOON?!?" I was asked when I requested one, as if that were a bizarre notion to eat my melted ice cream when no utensils were in sight.); no spoons or saucers or accoutrements were served with two cups of black coffee for my guests; in general, it was a mess, not a restaurant of Clyde's caliber!!!
Was excited for happy hour and was told happy hour was no longer avail . That was disappointing since I invited 2 people who eat a lot!
Our noon meal outdoors at Clyde's Mark Center was great! Food and service were excellent. What else can I say? It's hard to beat Clyde's!!!
Extensive menu with lots of great choices for food and drinks. The cod was delicious.
Service was a little slow. The food was very good. I got the pasta carbonara which was creamy. The English peas were firm snd there was lots of pancetta. I highly recommend it. Thanks
Great food and reasonable prices . Portions were very good too.
Weekend brunch. Always the best. Recommend it highly
Patio dining was excellent. Food terrific and waitress professional and attentive. Only issue was excessively long edit for entrees to arrive. No explanation offered.
Service was a little slow but not the wait staff fault. It was not annoying because we were enjoying ourselves and our waitress was phenomenal! She was so friendly and intuitive.
I can’t speak for everyone but all of us ate everything. I had steak which was delicious and not over cooked. We all shared the calamari and it was delicious. We all had several glasses of wine and enjoyed the new post Covid girls night out!
Delicious food and great service!
Took a while to get out orders in and waited a half hour before a server took our order. Had the steak fries, it was come perfectly but it was really really salty. Asparagus was great and the raw oysters were scrumptious. Recommend the calamari appetizer.
Clyde's is always reliable for American classics. Scheduled a business dinner and this works well for such. Requested an outdoor table for assured safety ventilation, and this was set up in part of the parking lot, which detracted somewhat, but most everything else was as expected.
Our dinner selections were very good and the service was quietly attentive. Clyde's has always been reliable as a good value and a lovely destination.
I had the Cod dinner. It was delicious. My husband had the Mushroom Ravolini and he loved it. Lots of good choices on the menu.
outdoor seating was perfect. Attentive staff doing a great job with all the pandemic restrictions. Food, as always, excellent.
The menu posted on open table is not current. We ate at Clydes for one specific item only to find it was not in the menu anymore. No one is friendly or welcoming so visit starts out as an unfriendly but polite environment. The worst part was the waiter. He was not familiar with the menu but more important I was unable to get a cup of coffee with my meal; although I asked for this when I gave my order, and he said no problem. I couldn’t get him to bring the coffee and I asked another staff member to bring it and his reply was he would tell our waiter. Our waiter did not come anywhere near our table for another 15 minutes and I had to call out across the room to try to get his attention. I asked for the coffee, 3rd effort, he said ok but it was another 15 minutes before he returned. I had finished eating by then, was very aggravated, and no apology as given to me. Waiter was clear in his demeanor that it was no big deal and no sense of urgency or importance to him. Had to hail him down again to get refill. Miserable experience and I have no plans to return. This experience is unfortunately consistent with my previous 2 visits. Cannot get service and not welcoming.
Like most restaurants, Clydes is suffering for a worker shortage. Just is what it is. Service is slow. But everything else was fine.
Excellent food and server!
Great food and even greater service. Highly recommended to every one.
Great food, decent service, was nice to be taken care of after doing on our own for so long!
I always have liked Clyde's and regret the disappearance of the restaurant at Tyson's. I remain hopeful the owners will find a new location in that area.
We had the best time!!! We were served by like three different people but everyone had awesome customer service and were so awesome!!! The food was great, our Lemon Drops were great!! Just an overall great experience.
The food portions are relatively small, and the food does not arrive piping hot. One is left with the impression that it has been left sitting before being served.
The table service was excellent, the server was personable and took time to ensure our order was correct.
Just dining with daughter! Enjoying being able to get out again. Waitress was wonderful and food exceptional!
My server was awesome!!!
Overall experience was great, however, on my entree, which was a Bacon Cheeseburger, I asked three times for a side market salad instead of fries and never got the salad. Our guests said that the bread pudding was a bit dry. Key lime cheesecake was good, as were the deviled eggs. Shrimp cocktail was a bit expensive for the # of shrimp received and the steak salad could use a biit more steak. Tasted great, but not a good steak to salad ratio. Also the booth seating in the bar was a bit tight and the tables didn't move.
Service and atmosphere were very good. Only downgraded the food because I ordered the Grilled Chicken Salad here because I had it last at Reston Clydes. The taste and ingredients were not the same the Reston salad was tastier and heartier.
Chose to take my team to lunch at Clydes. Really enjoyed the food and the ability to have lunch outside under the tent. Will definitely return for personal engagements in the future.
Server was excellent!
Food is always delicious!
After more than a year of being socially responsible and staying indoors, wearing masks, etc., it was great to go out (after being fully vaccinated). I also appreciated the way they set a tent in the parking lot a nice way to adapt and keep the ambiance. In terms of the meal - I had the Summer in the City cocktail, which was light and refreshing. The fried calamari was crispy and tender - a nice appetizer. My wife had a nice light, crisp beer. We also split the steak tartar, whcih was flavorful, not overpowering and the egg was a nice touch. For dinner, I chose the roasted Maryland Black seabass - it was light, and the wild rice pilaf was tasty - and the sesame ginger sauce was delicious. The sugar snap peas - a nice addition. My wife ordered the impossible burger - she enjoyed it (and thought it was a great substitue for meat). The key lime pie - nice and flavorful, creamy and delightful. The after dinner dessert drinks were ok.
Soft shell crab was delicious, but they should offer a plate with two of them. The one was not enough for a meal. Luckily, I had an appetizer, oysters Rockefeller which was tasty, but not traditional. It was too heavy on the panko topping. The oysters should be the star in this dish.
Waiter was either absent or, at time of ordering and during dinner, hurrying us up. He never asked if we wanted dessert but simply put a carry out box on the table for my half eaten burger while my my husband was still eating. We had been at the table almost an hour and a half before we got our main dish (and we’d waited a long time for the appetizers and then the main dish.
I’ve always loved this particular Clyde’s and we often come for special occasions. But, tonight was unpleasant. Im sure our waiter was obviously tired and didn’t want to be there. And perhaps you all are trying to get your groove back - like the rest of us - after such a difficult year. I hole it’s just that. Dianne Summons
Enjoyed the outdoor arrangement and overall service.
Clydes always has outstanding seafood and staff are very attentive.
Went for Mother’s Day lunch/brunch. Our server, Danielle, was a rock star! She was polite, engaging, quick with every request we made, and fun! She remembered our orders (6 people & most made special requests!) to a tee without writing anything down! Perfect place for Mother’s Day meal!
We had a great Mother’s Day brunch. The entrees were yummy. Service was great. This was my first time there and I had heard great things. I was not disappointed
As always it is delightful to eat at Clyde's. The food is not always consistent but pretty close. The ambiance is so relaxing and pleasant and the staff are wonderful especially during the difficult times of covid. The waitress we had was extremely good. Very sweet.
