Clyde's Willow Creek Farm
On May 18, 2019, we celebrated our son's GMU college graduation with dinner at Clyde's in Ashburn and it was fantastic! Reservations were made last winter and the table chosen was the one we received. Mo, our great server was especially hard-working, kind and on-point regarding ALL aspects of our celebration. Mo even took the time to take a group photo for us and then personally thanked our son for his achievement! Our son ordered the Filet mignon and said it was the best steak he has ever enjoyed!!
The service and food were ALL delicious and we are so grateful for Clyde's and their entire staff for making our special day so perfect! Thank you so much; we will be back!
Disappointing food. Frenchdip like shoe leather, bison burger tasted off
Clyde's Willow Farm is a fantastic experience! The food is terrific, service is great, and the overall atmosphere is a joy to experience.
We dined at Clyde's for our anniversary on a week night and sat outside. The patio is really lovely. Our server was in training and was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We had the crab cake and the trout. The only distraction from a wonderful evening was the group of children permitted to run around the patio and among the other diners. Perhaps the patio dining is considered to be more of a casual dining experience? We will keep this in mind for next time.
One of our favorite ‘go to’ places for special days. Food and service were excellent as always. We all had an enjoyable and memorable Mother’s Day meal.
It was good. Beautiful setting in several renovated early American farmhouses. The artwork is remarkable.
I celebrated another lovely Mother's Day at Clyde's. Will be back again.
Mother’s Day brunch
We always enjoy getting to go to this location. The staff is always professional and courteous. We have never had a bad experience.
Despite the crowd for Mother's Day, the service was excellent, as was the food. I love the horse themed room, although the cartoon figures replacing horse paintings were not an improvement. Nonetheless, Overall, Beautiful surroundings. I just looked at another wall. The Salmon was wonderful and accompanying vegetables even better! Lovely experience.
We always enjoy the decor. The open beam ceiling and the examples of old silver items are always interesting to view. The menu changes based upon the season.
The wait staff was attentive and helpful. We were seated exactly at our reservation time. Overall, a very good experience.
Outstanding hostess, bar and wait staff service. Brandon at the bar was particularly great and checked in on us regularly as did as our waiter (forgot to note his name). My friend’s Peruvian chicken was delicious. I chose less satisfying entree meals with a carbonara (small portion) and crab cakes (more on the salty side). I will do better to choose differently next time. Definitely worth a revisit, and the place is really cozy, welcoming and comfortable.
Complimentary birthday dessert was a very nice touch!
Had lunch with friends from Florida and they were very impressed with beauty and history of restaurant. The food was excellent as well. Always like to show it off to visitors. So proud to have it in our backyard!
Had a great experience at Clyde's- it was a special evening for my wife and I, and our waiter William did everything he could to make the evening even more memorable. Would definitely recommend this place- great environment, great food, excellent staff!
Wonderful meal. We do miss being able to order shrimp cocktail and the (to die for) garlic fries.
Great ambiance and service. Food was under-seasoned, except for salt. The latter helped us more than fill our daily quota!
Food quality seems to be going downhill lately. The steaks are meh at best compared to what the ambiance otherwise demands. Better steaks can be had close by.
My husband and I were out for a special date night. I called ahead for a reservation. We got seated by the piano, which set a relaxing mood. The server was very personable and the food was AMAZING, particularly the Hanger Steak with Bordelaise sauce! I live about 3 hours away from this restaurant but am thinking about going here again for my birthday!
It was Prom Night so understandably noisy. We love Clyde's and WILL BE BACK.
Our server John was well educated on the wine and able to recommend the best dishes. He was personable and helpful. Paul Fox, the manager was also delightful. A wedding was happening on site and we still felt like we were their sole focus.
Clyde’s at Willow Creek is a lovely restaurant. The food, service, and management are great.
The back bar was a little noisy but the food made up for it.
It would serve Clyde,s well to introduce noise level control through out the restaurant.
Some restaurants have great atmosphere, and this is one is special and of the best. Great food and service too. The building is made of antique heavy timber carefully recovered from 4 structures (inn, farmhouses, barn) built between 1780 and 1824. There is joy in that wood, which brings warmth to dinner (and they have 7 fireplaces). I was curious as to why open table had so many reservations booked and now I know. My first visit here, and I’ll be back when I’m in the DC area again. Pick up the history card about the restaurant and enjoy as I did. We enjoyed calamari appetizer, Shrimp Scampi, fried Trout and huge desserts.
Here to celebrate a friend’s Birthday. Food was good as usual but out of all the rooms in this restaurant, this room was the least favorite and the noisiest. I will specify a room the next time.
The menu is just so limited. One sheet with very few choices. Same choices month after month. Noticed prices have gone up on quite a few items. Tried the cauliflower steak entree - delicious. My friend ordered the pasta dish - very small portion.
Service was good as always.
Always a great experience at Willow Creek. Took a coworker here for the first time and he couldn't stop talking about the Calamari !
Despite my request and confirmation ( quiet corner table) seated in the noisiest room Wait staff was overloaded and ignored or forgot numerous requests. While the food was good, service marginal and ambiance NOT what was expected the overall value not acceptable. We will NOT be back. We have been to three different Clyde’s with two of three been a disappointment. It’s time to look for a different restaurant group
The room we were in was very nice until 14-18 high school young adults were seated eight feet from our table. What started out as a enjoyable quite dinner turned into a nerve racking evening. We could not leave fast enough. Your resturant patrons should not be subjected to large groups that do not know how to act in public places. When I mention the noise level I was informed everyone has a right to eat. Sorry wrong answer.
First time I had the Shrimp Scampi and I was delighted. We had a nice evening on a very busy night - Proms going on. I don't think I've ever been disappointed with the food at this particular Clydes.
Good is very good and very attentive service. The down side is the Restaurant is way too loud to have a conversation at your table.
Had a good experience at Clyde’s. Food was great and so was service.
Another wonderful dinner at Clydes. Recently had to go Gluten Free which has been a challenge but they had several options for me there. Still miss the wonderful fresh bread though and wish they had a similar version for us GF patrons. We love dining there and enjoy the beautiful dining rooms and handcrafted cocktails. Looking forward to warmer evenings on the patio!
this was our first visit during the week at an earlier hour, and it was delightful to have a quiet booth to enjoy conversation with one another. The food, as always, was fabulous. Service excellent as well.
Ask for a quiet table. We were near a large table, one loud group left, another replaced it. The second group was louder and discussing subjects Inappropriate for a dining space. We then had to wait for their orders to be placed before we could pay and leave quickly.
Food was tasty
Bread pudding was delish!
However alcoholic mixed beverage tasted like soda, and the entree menu was options are limited
Great food and drink options. A go to place for me and my wife.
It’s always a pleasure to spend time here- like a second happy home!
