Really awesome. Server was very good. Constantly checking on us. Outside seating was perfect for such a beautiful day. Loved the food - shrimp cake entree and roasted salmon entree. Watermelon margarita was tasty, a bit expensive. Will hope to go again soon.
We wanted to sit outside but the outside seating is near a bar that allows smoking. I cannot physically be in the same place as smoking so would not be able to go back during the summer months when the bar is open.
We went to Clyde's Willow Creek for our 25th anniversary dinner. The food and service never disappoint.
Clyde's Willow Creek is great at handling bigger groups. We had a lovely belated Father's Day celebration.
We decided to celebrate Father’s Day at Clyde’s and they did not disappoint! We were greeted and seated quickly, our server was prompt and knowledgeable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our salads and main courses were spaced properly and everything was delicious! Gluten free options were clearly marked and we really enjoyed our meal. Well done!
Fantastic Father’s Day brunch. Service and food excellent as always. Clyde’s never disappoints!!
Food quality and service was excellent . Noise level was loud and priced a bit high for some dishes.
Server gave just the right amount of attention , prompt with orders and refills but did not hover .
Overall , I recommend the restaurant.
Great service and food!
Great setting for a celebratory luncheon. Food and service were very good.
Service was first class and the food was amazing.
This location of Clyde's has really gone down hill. The atmosphere was great, we were able to get a table outside and the patio is beautiful However, we ordered drinks before ordering dinner and it took forever to get the drinks, approximately 25 minutes. We ordered our dinners right away and when they arrived one was missing. The manager seemed very annoyed the whole night and simple was phoning in his managerial skills. He was very un personal , and barely squeaked out an apology as he offered her a free dessert, which was totally unacceptable. At this point it was 10:15 and one person was just getting her food. The restaurant was not busy, actually empty, and they still seemed to be struggling to provide decent service. I will not be frequenting this Clyde's unless I hear service has improved. Its a shame because I live very close and the restaurant has always been a good experience before.
Excellent facility. The jumbo shrimp "entre" was HORRIBLE!!!
A thoroughly excellent dining experience, from start to finish. What a lovely place; what delicious food and superior staff!
Wonderful food and great service, as usual!
Outdoor patio dinig area with wisteria trellises was perfect. Weather was too. Great food and service. A must return!
Our waitress was great and all of our food was delicious. I had a kale and farro salad with salmon. It would definitely recommend it!
Scrumptious food and exquisite environment. What more could I ask for
Great food, great service!!
Went on a Sunday afternoon for an anniversary meal. The atmosphere reflected Virginia's colonial past in a farmhouse setting with beautiful outdoor spaces. Food and service were excellent.
It was a fabulous experience. The food, atmosphere, wait staff and decor were outstanding.
Clydes Willow Farm is an excellent place to dine. The food is great, and value for money, I don't think it can be beat!
I have always loved Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm but tonight’s experience was very disappointing. I brought my wife here for a special occasion but I wished we had gone somewhere else.
I ordered the summer flounder with match stick fries and fried capers and it was honestly one of the worst meals I’ve ever eaten out. The fries were so overcooked, they were not even edible. I’ve never eaten shredded mulch but that was the closest thing I can think of to compare them to. They were like a bed of sticks on my plate. The flounder was also overdone but I was hungry and ate it anyway. Dry, chewy fish is not enjoyable. The waitress did bring me a side of garlic mashed potatoes to replace the fries and they were the best part of the meal.
My wife ordered the pork chop and again it was severely overcooked. I wish I had taken a photo of it to show how charred it was. Three quarters of it were literally black char. She prefers her meats well done but this was completely unacceptable in my opinion. I have never seen meat presented like that anywhere. However, she did not complain and did not want to make a fuss in front of the other guests. I’m very surprised the chef allowed our main courses to leave the kitchen in the state they were in.
The white sangria and flourless chocolate cake were very good. I did order the cocktail shrimp for an appetizer and they were tasty but $12.99 for three shrimp was a bit overpriced I think. In total, our bill was $101 for a very disappointing and unsatisfying dinner. Please forward this message to management.
Overcrowded. No one attend to our table for the first 20 minutes. Looked like the server was overworked. It was our wedding anniversary and we did not have a good experience. Might have to think twice before going back.
Mo was an excellent waiter. Very accommodating. We had a mix of brunch items and sandwiches and all were good. Hollandaise on the Eggs Benedict was excellent. Eggs were a bit overcooked but tasty. French Toast was good but had a taste of "old oil". Lots of syrup fixed that. Sandwiches were excellent and portions very large.
Poor service, poor service, poor service. Not sure I can say it enough. We noted in the Open Table reservation we were there for an anniversary yet when we arrived we were asked if we were there for a special occasion. Yes, anniversary. Off the bat, not feeling like a special occasion.
Seated in the bar area. Have been there before so no surprises about the noise level in that part of the restaurant. However, it was an anniversary. A little thought about a less crowded area would have been appreciated.
Our server seemed particularly distracted and more interested in turning tables than giving us good service. She stopped by our table several times with a dirty dish tray or dirty barware from the other tables she was serving. I might expect that at a lesser restaurant but not from a place with the reputation of Clydes.
Steaks were over salted and the chimichurri sauce had enough oil in it to open a Jiffy Lube. Now I think I know why so many people around us were eating hamburgers.
I have had several good experiences at Willow Creek but this was not one of them. I had high hopes for a memorable anniversary dinner and was sorely disappointed. The magic is gone. I won’t be back.
The service was reasonably good, although one of the waiters did spill a drink on me. My wife had the special, flounder in a hollandaise sauce. The fish was terribly overcooked and stringy, definitely not the least bit appetizing, and no amount of sauce could fix that. There were no complaints on the rest of our meals but nothing really stood out. Clydes is an expensive upscale establishment, but not the only one by a mile in this area. You really need to up your game in the kitchen or people will go somewhere else.
This was a great experience. Service was good, food was prepared well, nice ambiance. A special shout-out to Edgar, our waiter, and to our hostess (last name "Kane"). We were treated well and felt very welcome.
We have been visiting Clydes at Willow Creek for the past 12 years and have never had a bad experieince. I have known Paul Fox, General Manager, for over 40 years from his daysas a bartender at Clydes of Tysons Corner. His management has ensured a great dining experience.
Two of my friends and I had lunch here last Sunday and everything was perfect. The tables are well socially-distanced and our waitress Melanie J. and her trainee did a fantastic job of keeping us supplied with everything we needed. I had the wedge steak salad and it was delicious. I ordered the meat rare and that exactly how it came. The brownie sundae was super wonderful. They even divided it in three so we all got to enjoy it. Love this place and all the staff are wonderful!
Great food, service and the outdoor area so gorgeous
We enjoyed a perfect evening eating on the patio of Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm. The ceases salad was fair. The Peruvian chicken and crab cake dishes were wonderfully prepared. Our waiter did a fine job, wonder experience overall.
First time I've been back to Clyde's since the Pandemic. They have done a great job in converting the large dining room in the back from primarily closely spaced booths to all tables set at a good distance apart. All staff from front to back wore masks. The food was as good as ever.
Im not sure why but this place just does not seem to be as good as it has been in the past. Been here a few times recently and have left disappointed. Maybe it has to do with Covid because I have felt many restaurants have been off thier game.
Group of 3, really poor service in general. When the waitress came to take the drinks order she only took one person, after a while she was back and took the other two drinks (sweet iced tea) the tea came ad was not sweet at all. We need t so for bread, she seems to be in a rush.
When we order dinner, and the food came, basically the quality was not the expected for the price. Cheeseburger, we ordered well done and was not, crab cake was cold and cole slaw super tiny. The waitress never came back t check if food came out right.
After another period of time she came back and asked to take the plates, basically with food that we are not eating.
We ask for the dessert menu, she never offered.
Overall a poor experience, and I'm very surprise because go often and never feel this way.
I'm not sure if we are going to give Clyde's another chance., sorry
Very good attentive service. Great social distancing and cleanliness. Good is very good. Ambiance is quiet and reserved in the dining room.
Overall Great experience
